Family-friendly holiday rentals in Suwannee River

Sandra was a terrific host. her place was as described even better. beds were comfortable,lots of bathrooms, lots of outdoor seating, and pool toys and indoor and outdoor toys/games. perfect for us as we had a family wedding in the area. neighborhood was nice, quiet nearby to stores and restaurants.

Our stay was excellent. The house was comfortable and fit our family perfectly. The location is absolutely wonderful and there is a lot to do at the resort to entertain the kiddos! The restaurants in the area are close by and have excellent food! We had a blast fishing and scalloping! We will definitely be back!

We fish tournaments and frequently stay in BNB’s. This was hands down the best one yet. The host contacted me once we arrived and walked me through everything on the phone so we knew where everything was. We had an issue with no hot water, I contacted her and she had it fixed before we returned to the house the next day. She was very flexible on the check in/out procedure which made things easy for us. The house was great and we had a cover to back the boat under so it stay dry without having to put cover on it. We will definitely use the place again. Highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Eric was very communicative and a very gracious host. The cabin was cozy and clean and the surroundings were so peaceful, exactly what we needed. We spent a good majority of our time in the swim spa that seemed to melt away the stress of every day life. We got steaks from Mobley's, absolutely delicious. Very satisfied and a wonderful anniversary getaway

This was definitely my family’s favorite vacation we’ve been on so far. Aside from the amazing fishing we did, the Peach house and the neighborhood that it is in kept my entire family busy. The pool was great and my boys stayed in there as much as possible, all the games at the pool were fun, my baby girl loved the goats and chickens at the petting zoo, and I enjoyed the convenience of the boat slip and the boat ramp right next door to the property. This place is also located perfectly in my opinion with it being far enough from busy area that traffic and noise isn’t an issue but your still a 5 min golf cart ride to the restraunts and stores. We cannot wait to return to the peach house and hopefully stay a little longer.

We really enjoyed our stay here. My young son especially enjoyed the little hot tub! There are tons of games which was awesome. We needed the place very last minute and they were able to accommodate us quickly which was much appreciated. The place was adorable but my only small complaint is that the pictures in the listing are stretched and make it appear much larger than it is. This is very common and not meant to be a complaint, per se. Just something to be aware of. The host was great and we enjoyed our stay! Thanks so much for the last minute hospitality!

Stayed at this lakehouse many times over the past few years and it never disappoints. Great house, location, and host! Best place to make awesome memories and enjoy the lake!

We adored this home and Cedar Key! I want this place to stay the best kept secret in Florida, but this town deserves love and praise! The food was fantastic, plenty of places to get beverages, friendly locals, and GORGEOUS views. We found our new vacation spot for sure. I would recommend some beach/water shoes for the ocean if you have sensitive feet… it’s a very natural beach so expect the shells and sea grass! There are kayak rentals right outside the door and a very safe area to play around! We saw and/or kayaked with dolphins EVERY DAY! This place is perfect for a chill and relaxing vacation… think the complete opposite of PCB… (no offense to PCB). The area is dog friendly and our dogs loved it. This is literally steps away from beach. Perfect location. Julie and Tom were incredible hosts that gave perfect recommendations. So accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!!

We found the house to be very clean and comfortable. It's in a very quiet neighborhood, but easy to get to stores and local attractions. We enjoyed a campfire and time on the screen porch. The access to the neighborhood park and the use of the golf cart and paddle boards added to the value. Overall it was a great spot for a family getaway.

We had the most wonderful stay at Blueberry Farm Country Cottage! Cassandra and Walt are the kindest hosts, and their cottage is a little slice of countryside heaven. It’s cozy, peaceful, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you need for a relaxing getaway.The location couldn’t be better just 30 minutes from some of Florida’s most beautiful springs like Silver Springs, Juniper, Silver Glen, and Salt Springs. We loved the private fenced yard and patio area it was perfect for unwinding in the evenings. The fire pit made for the best s’mores nights, and the outdoor shower was such a refreshing treat (seriously, don’t skip it!). They even provided charcoal and firewood, so we got the camping experience without sacrificing comfort. The chickens and fresh eggs were such a sweet bonus, and their dog and cat were absolutely adorable, so friendly and welcoming, just like their humans.All in all, it was the perfect mix of nature. We’re already dreaming about our next visit :)

We loved the location and being on the horse farm! The apartment was clean, communication was great and if you’re going to a wedding at Andalusian Oaks, it’s very close by.

Great condo and location. Best stay we’ve experienced in Haile Village. Small problem with air conditioning upon check-in; contacted Jessica and fixed immediately. Thanks so much for the stay-would rent again while visiting Gainesville.

Kate’s condo is very lovely—sparklingly clean and beautifully decorated! The layout with the two en suites on either end is perfect for two couples staying together. Very reasonably priced and reflective of the neighborhood.

We booked the Flamingo House with Gale and Teri for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. Quiet location within 3-5 mins of a dozen restaurants, activities, sights to see, and stores for essentials. They left a great list of reccomendations for the area and the house was super clean and beautiful. Plenty of space for a whole family and the screened in pool was the icing on the cake. We were able to go do things we wanted and then come back and relax in the sun by the pool and I dont think we ever even saw a neighbor all week. The wife and I have already decided if we can take another trip to Crystal River and surrounding area we will be returning to the Flamingo House!

House is nice and extremely clean. The pool is an excellent addition to an already great spot. John is very communicative and was super proactive sorting out issues with the pool cleaner. All in, we had a great stay!

The home is beautiful and has everything you need. The pool is amazing. Check in and out was easy and Dena gave me great advice for where to play pickleball. The neighbors were super friendly too!

Scott's space was clean, modern and cozy. Literally across from the pool and easy access to the main building/gate. Very convienent. The room was also very quiet. I would definently book again.

We rented this place for the week when I had to have surgery at Shands. So, my husband and I stayed the first night, then after that my husband went back and forth to the hospital. It was a short walk, and it was nice for him to have an inexpensive place to stay. The night I stayed I thought the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the computer chair provided by the dining table. The main thing that stood out about our stay was that the hosts were very responsive. I will say that there were a couple of issues at the beginning: a missing parking pass, some lightbulbs out, and the drain was clogged, but as soon as I called them up, they had someone over right away who made sure that the issues were fixed and apologized that they even happened (and I called about the drain at 9:30 at night), which I appreciated. I suspect that the people they had clean for them simply were not telling them about these things.

Really excellent place this. Has everything you need and probably more. Good bikes, Golf Cart, extensively equipped kitchen. Also great value for money. Will definitely return but likely yo be booked up. You need to move fast

So clean and well stocked including with wonderful products like Mrs. Meyers and Alba. Host was very helpful and nice.

We absolutely love this location and the all beautiful places you are able to walk to and enjoy. His place was well equipped with everything we needed. Beds and couch are very comfy, and we all slept great!
