The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. You will be staying in a large Lotus Belle Stargazer tent (Ø 6m), with access to the dirt toilet and fresh water, fire pit and barbecue (firewood and gas can be purchased). The tent is undisturbed in a rural setting, close to both fantastic beach, cozy harbor environment and forest. There is no traffic and with a good opportunity for a quiet retreat from everyday life. Listen to the birds, feel the grass between your toes, enjoy the peace. There are tame, curious free-range hens. Welcome!

The house is located on a large natural site with forest suitable for play and adventure. Stege is 15 minutes' drive away with shops and restaurants and 3 km walking distance to Klintholm harbour town. Optimal area for sea trout fishing. The hiking route 'Camoeno' goes right by. The house is modern furnished and has up to 8 sleeping places.

Birkely Bed & Breakfast er et charmerende nyistandsat gæstehus på 38 kvm med lækkert badeværelse. Huset er flot og hyggeligt indrettet med køkken, spisebord, stor dobbeltseng og lænestole. Cozy furnished annex of 39 m2 with separate bathroom. One-bedroom apartment containing double bed, sofa corner with TV with the possibility of 2 additional beds on the sofa (children), dining table space and kitchen with oven and refrigerator. The annex has been newly renovated with a gentle hand and we have tried to make it as cozy as possible. Also, outdoor nook when the weather permits.
