Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Stroud Township

It was a great getaway, coffee and a beautiful view every morning! Despite the weather not cooperating we still enjoyed the serenity of the mountains! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

The house was amazing! Karen was super responsive and made it easy to find the place and check in. Everything was clean and she provided us with clear instructions. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. Super close to nearby vineyards, activities etc.

The house was exactly what we were looking for. We planned a week long get away for 11 family members. The house was spotless and provided plenty of room. We did encounter several days of rain that prevented us from using the pool and lake. We used the amenities at the house, ping pong. fuse ball, and the sauna allowed us to enjoy our indoor time. I would recommend this rental for larger groups looking for a mountain getaway.

What a beautiful location! We were in town to go to the college’s graduation ceremony and I booked Norma and Wayne’s windy hill lodge. I arrived at 10 PM after a 9 hour trip, but what a comfort it was when I got inside (easy)! It was warm and inviting, lots of snacks and refrigerated items and a “lifesaving” chicken nuggets in the freezer — I was starving and hadn’t eaten since noon! The decor matches my love of horses (I have two rescued thoroughbreds!) the bedrooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable (my brother stayed the second night and he said he had a great sleep!) We both got a tour of the barn, admired the fields, and we loved talking to Wayne about how it all “worked”! We wished we had more time to just hang out there, but we had all the family activities one enjoys in Easton during graduation weekends! Thank you for everything!!!

Cozy, comfortable, warm, convenient, and homey! Melissa's place was perfect for a longer stay and equipped with kitchen essentials and laundry. The Zen Den was a wonderful space for exercise, and the second bedroom doubled as an office space for remote work. Lovely!

We were very satisfied with our stay. Nick replied promptly to all of my text messages and was very helpful. He usually has firewood split and stacked, but there was no more split firewood. I texted him to ask where I could go get firewood or if he had the tools so I could split it manually, but he said that we are on vacation and should relax. Within about an hour, split firewood was delivered and placed in the storage area for us! It rained every single day, but we were very thankful for the indoor activities the finished basement. There was a poker table with chips and cards, karaoke machine, basketball, table tennis, pac-man, fussball , a fitness area with a bike, yoga mat and weights. The only two things I did not like, were out of Nick's control. One was that the lake was very mucky and when I fell in 3 times, I came up smelling like manure. You can kayak on it, but I would advise not falling in. The other issue was the long line at the gate to enter the community.

I don’t even know where to begin. We have stayed over 75 air bnb’s and this one by far has surpassed our experiences. You do not need to leave the premises at all! We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it was not enough time. Paul and Donna submerged you to total relaxation, party, and fun for every age. My 1 year old had everything she needed and 4 year old loved every activity to the adults having so Much fun! The house is so beautifully decorated inside and out and will be coming back so soon to bring our friends for a parents getaway trip!

We had a fantastic stay at Christy’s “Garden Cottage” in Stroudsburg! The location was perfect—just a 5-minute walk to the Sherman Theater, where we enjoyed a great show. The historic downtown area is charming, with plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated the off-street parking, which made it easy to come and go. It smelled clean as soon as we walked in. During our visit, we took a short drive to East Stroudsburg University, less than 10 minutes away, and enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the campus. The surrounding area of Stroudsburg offers beautiful scenery and a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the Stroudsburg area.

I must say, being that it was my first time traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable. I think I found my safe spot to unwind and relax. I love how peaceful and calming my stay was. There are things to do that’s no more than 30 minutes out. Jonathan and his team were very responsive when needed. The unit is exactly as the picture, very clean, appliances are in great condition, it has been maintained very well. I’m definitely coming back!

Jules and Paul have a great place it is very cozy as they describe. Great communication with the host able to be flexible with us. Great gateway spot!

We had comfortable stay. We will book again next time we visit family. I was able to work at the extra table comfortably. The kitchen was well appointed. The rooms were spacious. The views were nice. Although we didn’t utilize it, the walking path was nice option. Also the weather didn’t really cooperate for us to use the out door furniture but it look very nice.

This is a great place to relax, both indoors and outside. Very roomy with comfortable beds and furniture. Great outdoor sitting area. Cats that greet you as you arrive. And an incredibly friendly deer who is so cute stays near the property. Good restaurants are a short drive away.

Loved the place! Just like the pictures. Super responsive host. Even shoveled the deck and stairs for us after a snow storm. Definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed at Chala’s place over the weekend. We fell in love with the place the minute we arrived. The unit was well equipped, great lay out, very quiet and very comfortable. Especially the bed and the pillows! I am always worried about the pillows and bring my own. Here I did not even used mine! Highly recommend the place! Location is very convenient and so pleasant in the peaceful neighborhood. We will certainly be back one day!

We loved our stay here!! We were in Jim Thorpe for a concert at Penn's Peak and took advantage of the town. We did the Wine and Suds Tour with the Jim Thorpe Trolley and had a blast. we also were able to walk about a block to a brewery and a bar/restaurant. Stephen's place was perfect for what we needed.

We had a great stay at Jordan’s house. Love the old house and the surrounding town. We were able to walk to most of Jim Thorpe.

Tawny was a great host. She communicated with me throughout my stay to make sure things went smoothly. Her hospitality is 10/10 and would recommend booking with.

Great family ski weekend! Views are amazing with close location to 2 ski areas. Very clean and cosy with everything you need a comfortable stay. Jonathan was a great host, very responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend for a Pocono ski get away.

Jackie's condo is spacious and welcoming. Beautiful lakefront property, minutes from Big Boulder. Close to all the local restaurants. Layout is larger than it appears on the listing. Felt right at home!

We had a pleasant stay at Paul's Airbnb. My wife and I stayed here on a work trip. It had all the amenities to be a home away from home.

We had a family trip and this place is awesome. It felt like home. Well maintained, clean and organized. Pool access is also good to have and its on the back of property. Overall I can't say how good the place is. Its too awesome.

Amy has an amazing property. Everything was beautiful, we had plenty of linens. We had a grill night and she had plenty of utensils (cutting board, knives, etc.) so we didn’t have to worry about buying those things, friendly community, steps away from the pool and the lake, I can’t recommend this place enough, thank you Amy!

We truly enjoyed Sharon's place! Its very clean, with great surroundings and so many little thoughtful details. The balcony faces the pool which is very convenient. Rule pools are quite strict ( have to drop off pick up entry bracelets every time, no kids in warm pool/spa). Great restaurants nearby!
