The walk from the house to the bus stop is 600 meters. A three-minute bus ride takes you to Neumarkt am Wallersee train station. The train ride to the city center takes between 17 and 26 minutes, depending on the connection. Arriving by train from Neumarkt am Wallersee to Hallstatt is very convenient. An express train takes two hours and costs €10 per person when booked in advance. Alternatively, there are very inexpensive group tickets for 2 to 5 people that cover both the outward and return journeys. A free ticket for public transport is provided and allows travel throughout the entire state of Salzburg.

From the terrace on the east side, you can enjoy the morning sun over breakfast and have a wonderful view of the garden, which features a pond and a barbecue area.
