HetGoor is a renovated 1937 farmhouse where the attics of the farmhouse have been converted into a modern and spacious apartment with all utilities. The farmhouse is located in a rural area but still within reach of the village center (5 minutes drive). The large gardens bring you peace and quiet. Great chalet to relax with the family, with many play options for kids of any age. The area is very green with lots of outdoor space around the house. Open up the patio doors, take a nap in the hammock or BBQ next to the terras. Within walking distance you find a historic harbour town, with a supermarket, cafes and restaurants. Close by you find a nature reserve and many beaches. There are many activities on the island too. Enjoy! 🏠 The chalet was fully renovated in April 2022.

La Granota

On top of the Heistse mountain, you are less than 5 minutes away from the Heistse shopping street with breakfast and other eateries, cozy cafes with terraces and the cultural center. The famous Hnita Jazzhoeve is 2 km away, the meadow of Werchter is 15 km away. La Granota is only 20 minutes walk from the train station. So Leuven or Antwerp are close. Guests are always very welcome! Only in the winter we do not rent out because we will then organize photo exhibitions there.

The Carabane is a tiny house on wheels. Built by our own hands, it found a place behind our barn, among oaks and willows. Tiny, yes, but it's got all you need. Soft bedding to rest your thoughts. A kitchen for all things tasty. A view of the fields. A woodstove to warm your heart and hands. A library with the essence. And the odd nightingale for a soundtrack. The Carabane was built as a writer's den, but offers a place to whoever needs the simplicity of 21m2 and a view.
