Holiday rentals with a sauna in Stockholm archipelago

Three of us stayed for a business trip and it was just perfect. Having three double bedrooms and a lot of space meant we had our own privacy as well as not on top of each other. It’s a big, bright, airy apartment and it’s in a brilliant location. It was a little more involved to open up than other places I’ve stayed, first time , but Bella’s instructions made it easy. The place was immaculate - I think it’s quite a new property and cleaned very well always. It’s also 1 minute walk from to Slussen metro stop, which is 2-3 stops from Centrale, so a perfect location to walk to Gamla Stan or get anywhere really. Lovely bakery just on the corner, just by bars and coffee shops and a cycling route down into town. We are likely due back soon and won’t hesitate to book the same apartment again.

The accommodation was perfect for our family and everything was in place. Erik and Ebba were incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this home located right by the lake with a great view.

We were looking for accommodation near our daughter, who was celebrating her 40th birthday. This was 200m from our daughter, so it was the main reason we chose to stay here. The apartment was very nice, everything is here, a bedroom at one end with a nice double bed and nice lovely duvet covers and sheets. We slept very well, kitchen that we did not use but that was well equipped. A living room with a corner sofa, dining table and chairs. In addition, a large, nice bathroom with shower and sauna. We had a great stay and slept very well. This was far beyond our expectations. We are very happy with our stay. If there are several of us who will visit the daughter at the same time again, we would like to stay here.

Staying here was great. First of all, Janet is amazing , helpful, friendly and responsive. The place is super nice, clean, has everything you need and more. There is also privacy and makes you feel like home. Definitely worth it!

Nice and helpful response! Since we arrived when it was dark, it was a bit tricky to find because it felt like you were driving wrong when you drove into the long driveway but daytime everything was clear! Great place to stay! We were four adults who didn't know each other very well and there was plenty of space. Comfortable sturdy double beds in two of the rooms. The extra bed behind the drapery/alcove in the living room worked 👍

I highly recommend this studio apartment. It was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in, and it had everything I needed — and more. Struan was very welcoming and helpful whenever I had a question or needed anything. I’d definitely stay here again.

Hanna & Anita's place was the perfect, cozy stay for our one week stay in Stockholm. They thought of everything to make the place feel like home, from the extra towels to coffee and tea; towels to sit on in the sauna and a clothes line inside the sauna. Anita went above and beyond during our stay. One example: After a long day of travel, we couldn't wait to relax. When we arrived to the place, it was warm and nicely lit. The sauna quickly warmed us up. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close by, we recommend Anita and Hanna's place. We already had the impression from the photos that it was a great place to stay. In reality, we found it to be even better. It is spacious, even inside, and there is even more space in the outdoor area. The equipment is very good, there are many plates, cups and cutlery,... We also loved the host's reactions: a defective device was replaced very quickly. Thank you for letting us stay here, it has been the best accommodation for us so far.

Sara is a great host, very helpful always answering super fast. the place is great, has everything you need and the location is perfect, super close to the subway and several restaurants and markets I'd definitely come back once in Stockholm again.

This place is great for a short trip to Stockholm, it is very clean, well organized and equipped. It is very well located despite being south of Stockholm, since there is a metro 3 minutes walk away! But you still have to take into account that it's a 120cm bed, but which is very comfortable and enough for us for 2 people of rather large sizes The host is very responsive and allowed us a flexible check-in Don't hesitate for the value for money, this place is really great!!

This is Airbnb at its finest! Anna is a fantastic host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure you have a great stay. The apartment is stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to settle in and relax. We only stayed for a week but would have happily stayed longer. The location is perfect for peaceful walks, and getting to the city center is easy and convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience—we’d gladly return and highly recommend it!

We were four people who stayed at Annamaja’s apartment, and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with the added convenience of free reserved car parking. The best part is the location. The bus stop is literally right outside the main door of the building closer than any I’ve ever seen! However, note that the bus service is available until 18:30. After that, the nearest option is the Axelberg metro station, just a 5–10 minute walk from the apartment. From Axelberg, you can easily catch a metro connection to Stockholm City. The total travel time to the city is about 20–25 minutes by public transport and just 10–15 minutes by car. Annamaja is an excellent host who responds promptly to messages at any time. There’s also a supermarket nearby, only 300 meters away, which is very convenient and within walking distance. We had a great stay and would definitely choose to stay at her place again when we visit Stockholm next time. Highly recommended

We stayed in the cabin 4 days over Easter weekend 2025. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, the cottage is great with all modern amenities. It was really exciting for our 3 year old living next door with horses. The ice cream villa with great ice cream and waffles is within walking distance. We enjoyed the nature and tranquility during our stay here. Susanne was a great hostess. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Sara‘s place for a couple of nights and enjoyed our time there a lot. The house (and especially the kitchen) is well-equipped and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. There is a canoe that can be carried to the lake, the bikes are a bit rusty, the sauna works well and without problems. Thank you Sara for our time here!

We absolutely loved staying at Magdalena's place, it was impeccable clean and exactly like the photos. We were two young families visiting and enjoyed the living area and ofcourse the sauna. We took walks around the neighbourhood and cooked every day, the beds are very comfy and would love to come back. Also Magdalena is a superhost responding swiftly to all our questions and super accommodating. Thank you so much for having us.

This place was absolutely amazing! The house design is stunning—modern, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything offered, from the amenities to the little extras, made my stay so enjoyable. The view was breathtaking, and I loved waking up to it every morning. The hosts were exceptionally kind, helpful, and supportive, always making sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone visiting the area! My family and friends also had a fantastic time and were especially impressed by the charming Swedish style of the house. We had a wonderful time at the lake house. Nice views, well equipped kitchen, beautiful environment for walking, we even saw some wild animals. Great house!

You will need to go there to believe how truly beautiful this place is. We are a family of five and spent a wonderful week on Viggsö Island. We have never had a better host than Harry, extremely friendly, helpful, and always available! We would love to come back one time.
