David was incredibly accommodating towards our group. The place was well maintained and we’d love to go back again.

Special area, lovely local walks in the local area were a highlight. The house had all we needed to relax and enjoy a break in nature.

Great peaceful place on the river near the small and mostly unknown town of Vermaaklikhied. Well equipped place for groups. We brought a boat and the sights on the river was amazing! Could be a (better?) alternative to more popular places like Malgas.

We had such a wonderful stay. The view is absolutely stunning which can also be enjoyed from the comfort of every bed in the house as well as the couch! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and the house is a lovely design with a bedroom upstairs which suited my elderly parents. We will definitely be back! We had a very nice weekend and loved the fireplace in the living room. Very need and clean house, and well located. It was easy to find the house. The kitchen is well-equipped. Just remember to take towels and take note of no indoor braai. Otherwise, no problem. We will stay there again. The host was excellent!!

My family and I had a wonderful time in Stilbaai recently and Chrissie's place was the perfect spot for our large group. Every bedroom had an en suite bathroom, which was a major plus! The kitchen was very well stocked and the large dining table was perfect again for hosting family as we celebrated a special family birthday. The outside braai room was also a lovely place to relax and the option of an indoor or outdoor braai area gave us plenty of flexibility. We will definitely be hoping to visit again and bring more of our family along as well for a longer stay.

First placed I stayed with a personalised welcome tray of treats and wine and some dog biscuits for my dog! Loved it. A beautiful home to share with loved ones. We had a great time and really enjoyed the visit.

If you want to experience peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Make sure not to drive off the road for any looming cattle, as you might get stuck ( we did ) but if you do, there are friendly neighbours to help. As a family, we got to connect on another level as there are no distractions, which is really something we longed for together with new memories that would last a lifetime. We had a wonderfully relaxing time. The home is clean and comfortable with plenty of entertaining options. The pool and large garden made all the difference to our stay. The property is in a great location, close to the lagoon and the board walk. We immediately felt right at home, especially as the home is pet friendly. Thank you for a really memorable stay.

We had an amazing experience at this establishment. Beautiful surroundings and views. The cottage was very comfortable and clean with the most comfortable beds and soft linen. Braham is a very gracious host and provided clear directions to his farm. We can definitely recommend the accommodation and hope we can stay longer next time.

The White house cottage was super clean and comfortable, even better than the photographs. We loved the easy access to the river with our Landcruiser which made for easy kayaking any time of the day. Waking up in the mornings to the sound of various farm animals was a bonus and made us feel a million miles away from the city. The lawn around the paddock, house and pool area was freshly mowed and very neat. Town is literally 15 mins away if you need anything, but very happy to return to our cocoon.

Our stay at Stonehouse Lodge Olive Farm in Stillbaai was unforgettable. The house is stunning, with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms downstairs, plus 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The wrap-around stoop was perfect for al fresco dining or enjoying coffee while soaking in breathtaking mountain and sunset views. The pool table, table tennis, and swimming pool were fantastic for relaxation, especially in the hot weather. We loved kayaking on the river and spotting wildlife like peacocks, goats, cattle, buck, and horses. Alison, our gracious host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even offers a fun booze cruise for 7 pax at R900. A short drive to Stillbaai revealed charming local crafts. Highly recommend this gem! The starry nights, peaceful surroundings, and thoughtful touches made it an ideal getaway for our group of 6 adults and 2 infants. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for tranquility and adventure in one place.

We had such an amazing stay! Braham went above and beyond for us from day one, we arrived very late and he made sure we found our way and was settled in. He even invited us into his home to share an delicious dinner. I bought a new rifle and he took us shooting and even gave us his arsenal to shoot with as well, it was awesome ! We went on game drives and enjoyed the awesome scenery. I can honestly say I've never met such an amazing host ! The rondawel was awesome with solar electricity and solar geyser. Braham gave us a bakkie load of wood to ensure we had an cozy campfire every night. Its only about 20-30min to the beach and is an perfect holiday spot. We will for sure be coming back !

Corrado is indeed a Superior host, we were a party of two and Corrado made us feel very welcome and at home right from the very beginning of our stay . His interaction with us for our four night stay was incredible. Being surrounded by pure Mother Nature, the peacefulness, the incredibly surroundings ,the hiking trails, his beloved pets, Sky, Lucy , Jabu, Pepsi and Cola brought a different type of feel. The weather is time of the year were also an extra suprise. We had sunshiny days, throughout, experienced beautiful sunsets and sunrises, where the grazing of live stock made one feel super relaxed and so privileged. The staff of Brokenhill was friendly, helpful and amazing. Our experience was one that will definitely be repeated. I must admit that although I would love to keep this rustic though beautiful mountain lodge a hidden and well kept secret, it would be selfish of me not to want anyone else to experience what we have experienced. Value for money through and through. The surroundings was spectacular and peaceful. We felt right at home. Corrie was a wonderful host who accommodated us on short notice and was flexible around the period of our stay.
