Lovely hostess. Great access to river and beach.

Really great place for a big family, we could cook together, eat together and relax together without feeling cramped. More than enough cutlery and crockery too. I liked the way that 3 bedrooms are not part of the main house as it gives a lot of privacy. I also liked that the TV room is a separate room so the kids can sit in there and the sound of the tv is not heard throughout the house. Beautiful surroundings, we saw owls, tortoises, eland, zebra and bushbuck.

We absolutely loved our stay at Riversong farm. The home has a lovely flow and good sized bedrooms for a family or 2 to have a wonderful stay together. The deep verandah has lovely views and we found ourselves braaing every night. The river is beautiful (and was so warm!) and we enjoyed canoeing and swimming. A bonus that it had a gate so we didn’t have to worry about the little one wondering down on his own. Piers was an excellent host and we enjoyed our conversations and he was very attentive. We look forward to staying again soon!

We had a wonderfully relaxing time. The home is clean and comfortable with plenty of entertaining options. The pool and large garden made all the difference to our stay. The property is in a great location, close to the lagoon and the board walk. We immediately felt right at home, especially as the home is pet friendly. Thank you for a really memorable stay.

We had the most amazing family weekend together. I would recommend for big groups and families. Everything you might need, and daily cleaning service was a bonus. We hope to return.

What a super spot! We felt very spoiled stepping out of the door directly onto the beautiful beach. The house is comfy and welcoming, just what’s needed for a relaxing break. We will definitely return as soon as we can.

We had a fantastic stay. The house was beautiful, the view even more beautiful!! Each room is decorated with so much care. The house is super with sunny weather, then you can go to the beach, enjoy the pool and the beautiful garden. But also with windy, colder weather, the hot tub is wonderful. The indoor spaces then come into its own. I would recommend this stay to anyone

Our stay at Stonehouse Lodge Olive Farm in Stillbaai was unforgettable. The house is stunning, with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms downstairs, plus 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The wrap-around stoop was perfect for al fresco dining or enjoying coffee while soaking in breathtaking mountain and sunset views. The pool table, table tennis, and swimming pool were fantastic for relaxation, especially in the hot weather. We loved kayaking on the river and spotting wildlife like peacocks, goats, cattle, buck, and horses. Alison, our gracious host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even offers a fun booze cruise for 7 pax at R900. A short drive to Stillbaai revealed charming local crafts. Highly recommend this gem! The starry nights, peaceful surroundings, and thoughtful touches made it an ideal getaway for our group of 6 adults and 2 infants. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for tranquility and adventure in one place.

We had a wonderful time at Lome. The accommodation is centrally located with the best sea view. The property is beautiful, well-kept, and well-maintained. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved our stay, and Sunette is a great host. We would like to visit again.

We have been to Stilbaai many times and stayed in a variety of accommodation. Peter's house was a true beach house, but then with lots of extras and super wel equiped. The interior is beautifully designed. Outside is very rustic with a garden that is still in early stages of development . Overall we had the best holiday with great weather.

We had lovely stay - beautiful house with a very good location. The interior decorating is very stylish and the lay-out works very well. The house is very well equipped. Communication with Shan was very good.

Our group of six adults and four kids age five and under had a wonderful stay here. There were more than enough comfortable beds, and the basket of toys was exactly what the kids needed on our garden route road trip. The space was clean and peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A great beach-house with views of the ocean and just a walk over the dune to the sea. A very private and quiet part of Stilbaai. There are lots of areas in and around the house to relax in giving you the options of being sociable with the rest of the group or getting away from everyone without leaving the property. The house is well equipped (clearly lived in for part of the year) so you'll have everything you need. The main swimming beach where lifeguards are on watch is a 15 minute stroll down the beach. A very comfortable and easy stay.

We had a great stay at Zelda’s place. The location is on the beach with only the street and small dune to cross to get to the long beach. The views from the balcony were stunning and made for wonderful evening braai and family time. It is a quiet street with only traffic from the neighbors as there is no through way or public beach. The swimming beach and shops are a short drive with plenty for all to do and see and explore. We had plenty of hot water and bedding was warm and clean. Plenty of indoor space for lounging around or making meals. All needed equipment for meals and cleaning were on hand. The kids loved the pool and soccer tables and the board games available. All in all a great stay. Home away from home.

For someone who prefer the bush this was one of the most enjoyable and peaceful coastal holidays I have had and grandma who turned 86 on Jan 1 was thrilled with the unobstructed sea views from the her bedroom, the lounge and porch with the waves rolling in at high tide to about 30m from the property. Hennie is a super organised, friendly and nothing is too much to ask host and has a nearby friend that can come to your assistance if you have 10 thumbs. Surfing, paddle boarding and snorkelling can be done a stone through away from this property and you can fish from the rocks in front of the house, tide depending. A blue flag beach is a short 150m walk away if you do not feel like driving to the beach in Stilbaai which is a short drive away. Locals are friendly, everything in Jongensfontein is clean and well kept by the municipality, including a well kept tidal pool and free hiking in the local nature reserve. We will be back.

Line’s place is everything you want for a relaxed family holiday! The perfect beach house in the best location - quick access to the river (great for younger kids), the beach and the harbour. The upstairs lounge / entertainment space is much larger than it looks on the pictures and has a beautiful view. Very comfy couches to relax on after a day in the sun. We were between 7-11 people in the house and it never felt like there was not enough space. And all the amenities and kitchen appliances you can think of. Line was also very responsive and accomodating of our special requests (we added people to the original booking twice). I genuinely fell in love with Stillbaai all over again, in part because of the fantastic experience we had in this house. I will definitely book this place again - it’s well worth the money!

Perfectly located with views of Jongensbaai. The house was the perfect size for our small family and Jean was very helpful and accommodating. We’ll be back for sure.

We had a lovely family weekend at Annelie’s spot. Centrally located, safe area. My children loved cycling in the quiet street. Would definitely visit again.

The house was big enough for the grand parents, parents and grand children and has a fantastic view! Walking distance from the beach and lagoon and for rainy days a pool- and table tennis table. Fast wifi and a UPS to make loadshedding easier. All the utensils and comforts to make it a home away from home!
