Holiday rentals with lake access in Steuben County

The stunning beauty of this Airbnb left a lasting impression. With its breathtaking views and spacious accommodations for our guests, the home truly shone. The hot tub and deck areas were additional highlights. To enhance the experience, consider bringing hand soap and extra paper towels. The property is very nice and right on the lake with beautifulviews. The house is very clean and has a well stocked kitchen. We would recommend it to others.

Marisa’s place was absolutely beautiful! It was so much better than expected! Plenty of space for our large group, the kids were obsessed with the secret room and we all loved the views. It was rainy most of our stay but we were still able to hang by the lake and make some s’mores! So convenient to town and all the other things to do in the area, would definitely stay again!

A beautiful and peaceful home on the east side of the bluff. The home was updated and easily accommodated 4 adults 3 children and 2 dogs. Wrens nest had a beautiful view of the lake and dock access to the lake. George was very responsive anytime I had a question and accommodated a few things that I had asked for. It was a great experience for my family and I and will definitely be back in the future.

Beautiful house, perfect for a family wedding weekend. The house was stunning, had a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the mornings and did some trips out on the lake with the kayaks. The beds were all comfortable and we had plenty of space for the whole family. We did a fire pit one night outside and it was lovely. The perfect destination for a summer weekend at the lake.

This rental home is top shelf. It is exceptionally clean, neat and tidy, and while decorated tastefully, there is no clutter which might otherwise get damaged or interfere with people there temporarily. New carpeting (at least it looked new to us) with an exceptionally thick pad underneath. Comfortable furniture throughout this great home makes having breakfast or reading your favorite book a pleasure. Nice weather, move out onto the fantastic deck and have a seat at the outdoor table, or relax in one of the many chairs our hosts have purchased for comfort and convenience. Nice morning? Take your coffee out to the dock and plant yourself in a chair out on the end and enjoy God's creation. This home has a sturdy new dock with several places to tie up a boat. The picture of the dock in the listing shows a boat hoist, but that was not there during our visit and made tying up our pontoon boat great with the collapsable cleats on the dock. Way more to say, but no room to express it

This house was perfect for our needs. We had a wedding to attend, so we split the cost with family. Much better than staying at a hotel! I also loved being able to kayak! It was also stocked with just about anything you would need. If we were staying longer, and needed to make meals, we would not have needed anything. It was all in this house!

Amazing place to stay in Hammondsport Village. Extremely clean, comfy and fresh in spite of located in a historic house. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice setup in the rooms. 2-minutes walking distance to the Keuka Lake and the village downtown with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. Very close to numerous local wineries/vineyards, breweries, distilleries, museums, parks and other attractions. The host was friendly and communicated well. Highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Hammondsport! I will make sure to book it for my next visit as well.

Loved the space and the location. Walked into town for dinner and breakfast. Really comfy bed.s and so quiet. Hammondsport is cute and quaint. They roll up the sidewalks at night when it's dark (except a few inns/pubs) but it still has its own charm. Will definitely return.

This place was super clean and quiet area just off the lake. It was a bit further from things than we originally realized. It was our first time in the Finger Lakes and everything is a bit of a drive. Other than that, this place was very clean and homey.

Although the weather was against us so we were unable to kayak, we still had a great time going to the park inn for dinner and sitting on the dock having wine. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. Thanks Joan.

We ultimately decided on Shizuka’s location due to its proximity to local vineyards. It’s very well-situated in regards to Keuka Lake. Nice sunset views over the lake and mountains. Overall very happy with our stay for 3 nights with an infant.

We had a great stay here! David was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The place was beautiful and very well taken care of. The lake front location was beautiful! The photos don't do it justice. We all really enoyed sitting on the porch and the dock enjoying the spectacular views! The home was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Hope to go back again!

The Checkered Duck is a perfect little cottage on the lake. From time of booking to our departure Robyn was so very helpful with recommendations and getting us in touch for a driver to tour the local wineries. Her home was perfectly spotless and perfect for a weekend getaway

Stay here for the view alone! The cottage is quaint and sweet, with the most spectacular view and sunset. The house seemed familiar, lived in, with lots of character which was amazing. We had plenty of room and all the things we needed. Really enjoyed watching a little rain come by under the lanai. This spot is a hidden gem that’s super easy to access and close to amenities and communication with my host was great! Highly recommend

We had a great time on Waneta. The second story balcony had a nice view of the lake was a wonderful place to relax after a day hiking at Watkins Glen, Letchworth, and other places. We also enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake. I hope that others find time to enjoy a stay here as well.

We had a terrific stay! Phillip was proactive and responsive. Check-in and check-out were easy . There were personal touches, snacks and wine awaiting us upon arrival! The house is beautifully located on the lake with great sunrises and views. Close to Hammondsport and many great wineries. Highly recommend!

Very friendly, responsive, and proactive host - thanks AJ! Perfect location for relaxing and get away with stunning water view! Peaceful and tranquil neighborhood. Property has all amenities a large family need, with spacious rooms/baths, and lakeview! It was cold when we stayed, otherwise, would have gone out to the lake with the kayaks! Super-sized terrace with screen is perfect for staying outside without worrying about bugs and rains. Nice boat launching deck with crystal clear water and view of there the three lakes meet. Close to Corning Museums of Glasses that is a must visit if you are around! So is Cornell Campus in Ithaca - yes, I am biased as an alumni :) ). Highly recommended and will be back.

My bf & I travel often. This was the NICEST PLACE we’ve stayed via Airbnb. The cottage was spacious & the view was incredible! The beds are so comfortable & the place was immaculate. We spent almost our entire trip on the deck or on the dock. The fishing was INCREDIBLE! Kayaks are fun too! We hiked Watkins Glen. From the grocery stores, wineries, nautical activities & everything in between is all within 15mins or less from the cottage. The overall experience was a trip we’ll never forget. Waneta Lake is definitely the hidden gem of the Finger Lakes! You’re so close to all the other lakes too! I highly recommend this place! Worth EVERY PENNY! & cmon ppl it’s dirt cheap for waterfront! I’ve paid $550 or better a night at other places. Stephanie was so easy to work with. Her responses to my questions were prompt. Her & Kevin go above & beyond as Hosts! We loved it so much that we tried to book it again at the end of the month but it’s booked. We will 100% be back asap! Ty for everything!?

Beautiful home right on the lake. The weather was a bit cold and rainy while we were there so we didn't use the outside space as much as planned, but the spacious living room and dining room were perfect for our 8-person group plus a 7 month old! Tons of space to spread out, play games, read, and play with baby. There were mega blocks, a play mat, a high chair, a changing table, a crib, and everything we could need for our baby. The hot tub was also fantastic for the colder days. We used the firepit as well and there were plenty of Adirondack chairs for our group our there. Two of our cars are electric, so the charger was a big plus! This is a wonderful find and we would love to book again later in the summer! Perfect for the whole family. We cooked a few time while here, and the kitchen had the basics like toaster, cooking utensils, pans, knives, etc. Lots of cups and glasses for making drinks, too.
