Barb & John’s “Beauty in the Shenandoah” is one of the best Airbnbs our family has stayed at. We made this gem our home-away-from-home during our daughter’s graduation weekend at UVA. It is about a 30-minute drive to Charlottesville, which was perfect for us so we can be away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic and crowds during graduation weekend. The property is pristine and peaceful, allowing us plentiful space both indoors and outdoors to create memorable moments together as a family. Barb was so respectful, responsive, and gracious… welcoming us with personal extras and warm congratulations to our graduate. We are so happy with our stay that we have already booked again to return for our son’s graduation the same time next year. Being a fellow Airbnb host, I can say that these hosts are the epitome of hospitality. Our family is looking forward to May 2026 (or we may just fit in a weekend getaway even sooner)!

This house and property were everything we were looking for! It is a beautifully renovated home with excellent river access and stunning views. My family had the best time and we would go back without hesitation! 10/10 recommend! The owners were very responsive and accommodating as well.

Clean, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, loved the rockers and swing on the front porch. We needed to make adjustments to our stay and Philip and Myrna were so helpful and accommodating.

Sandra & team was incredibly helpful and accommodating when planning a recent work retreat to their place. The house is a peaceful oasis and the hosts go above and beyond to welcome guests. I especially appreciated that there are lots of options of places for all in our party to eat together, both inside and outside, and a floor plan that made mingling easy.

Samuel, his wife, his land, and this restored log cabin are all gems. The place was masterfully restored down to the details of the locks, woodwork, hinges on the doors, and more. It's pristinely clean which was a concern of my wife with a log Cabin. The grounds were also impressive with 100's of manucured and well chosen plants. The house is nestled within 40+ acres of cow pasture. I didn't realize it, but sitting on a poarch eating dinner watching cows munch was a very healing experience. We will be back.

Nina’s place is very nice and comfortable. It’s a great value. We were traveling home with our pups after four months away and it was great for them too. There’s a good dead end side road where we could walk the dogs. It feels like you are in the country but you are still very close to JMU campus and town. Nina is very kind and responsive.

Sharon and Allen are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us in with open arms to their beautiful property and felt like family immediately. It was a wonderful getaway for our family to get to stay at their place. We were surrounded by the beauty of Sharon’s artwork and the peaceful landscape out our window. The entire stay was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Sharon and Allen!

Loved our studio apartment in Shenandoah! The studio had everything we needed, was easily accessible and was quaint. We loved visiting the playground nearby and ice cream shop as well! Our little loved being able to see the mountains from the lobby, hearing and seeing the trains go by! Everything we wanted to see was 30 minutes away- some vineyards, the National Park, Luray Caverns, and so on! Thank you Brad and Elizabeth for opening your place to my small family! We hope to visit again one day!

We loved our stay at this condo in Wintergreen. The condo was beautifully furnished. Very clean. And the views from the balcony are unbelievable. Since it was spring, it was very quiet which we enjoyed. The mountains were so lush and green. The host responded to any questions within minutes. Check out was a breeze. We will be booking again!

Beautifully decorated and extremely clean! Had everything we could have possibly wanted and the location was perfect for visiting wineries and breweries! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area!

Randolph was a fantastic host—warm, responsive, and helpful! He made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and offered great local tips in his guidebook. We loved her place and the fact that she is pet friendly was so great! The view out her balcony was breathtaking. We are looking forward to our next snowboarding trip and will be looking to stay there again in the future.

Andy was very responsive and gave clear instructions. We had been at this resort a few times in the past and the unit we received was very nicely appointed and updated. We had all amenities and were super close to the indoor pool and gym. Comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was nice to be in a newer unit. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is great being walkable to Fire and Frost, a coffee/wood fired pizza restaurant, and we prefer the upper mountain location also being walkable to golf, tennis and trails. We hope to come back to Wintergreen soon. It is a great place to relax!

Wonderful condo with amazing views. Close to hiking trails, and a restaurant right across the street. Watching the sunrise on the deck is so amazing and peaceful. Lauren is extremely responsive.
