Beautiful spot close to wineries but feels private and peaceful. We really enjoyed all that Afton had to offer.

The house was amazing as well as the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking in the luray area. Close to everything luray has to offer . The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. we will most definitely be back

This house is a gem! The location allows for privacy and great hikes while still being close enough to Luray and Sperryville for restaurants and activities. I’d absolutely return. The house was clean and as advertised. The hosts were very responsive! The creek on the property was such a lovely feature. The only note I’d like to make is the area must have had a lot of rain right before our visit. To access the house, you drive over a very small concrete bridge over the creek. When we arrived the water was over the bridge, and probably 5 or so inches at its deepest. We had a sedan and weren’t comfortable driving over. Jerry quickly gave us alternate directions, so all in all in worked out and provided some excitement :). But if there’s been a lot of rain and you have a low car, be aware!

We absolutely loved our stay! We were here for our elopement in Shenandoah National Park and this location was perfect. The AirBnb was clean, it had beautiful surroundings, and all of the amenities were great!! Colton gave us awesome local recommendations as well. We will definitely be back!

It was a beautiful private area. The view was amazing. Waking up and sitting in the hot tub was very relaxing. The house was cleaned and had detailed instructions. The way up is a-little bumpy. Make sure your vehicle isn’t low to the ground. I have a Subaru forester and it did good. We went to The Apple House which is near by to eat and it was good.

Amazing, immaculate property, peaceful setting, thoughtful hosts! The mountain cottage exceeded our expectations. The home looks exactly like the photos and has all of the amenities. No surprises, no builders grade junky stuff - granite countertops, new appliances, upgraded cabinetry with soft close drawers, large tiled shower with built in bench seat, lighted closets, working blinds, no step access into and through out the home. You walk in to find a welcome basket of water and snacks with a card from hosts. There are books for appliances if needed and a book that provides needed information and options for dining and recreation. Feels private! We had beautiful bird song in the mornings, saw a deer at the end of the driveway and many deer on the roads to the cottage. There is a fishing pond within a half mile and the North fork of the Shenandoah is close by. We enjoyed the peace, nature, cruising Skyline Drive and time with our family. Great cabin. Nice warm heater. Great kitchen. Great nature vibes. Right next to a small pond that you can canoe in.

The cabin was a wonderful, easy space to stay for a quick weekend to the mountains. We very much enjoyed the beautiful views from the windows and the porch.

This 3 night trip was part of our 2 week trip visiting family in VA. We chose this house because we have a small dog and thought the yard would be good to have. The house was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. Amy even left a nice little surprise for us. She answered all our questions and was very helpful. We enjoyed walking to the coffee house and being minutes from our son.

The Hideaway Cottage – Where Even Your Cell Signal Gets Lost Tucked away between mountains we thought our gps was gas lighting us when it was saying “turn left” into a tree? I’m kidding it’s not that hard to find , the host provided very clear directions. Recommend arriving before nightfall. We drive a 25 foot sprinter and tow a trailer and crossing the bridge into the property is not for the faint of heart. But once there, you’ll love the privacy of this cottage and the comforting thought that no one can find you. Privacy? Check. Solitude? Double check. Wi-Fi? Absolutely not—thank God. If you’re looking to disconnect from the world, your inbox, and your mother-in-law’s group texts, this is your sanctuary. Our top highlight beyond the beauty of this property is seeing our dogs run unhinged, ears flopping drunk on freedom. Just the river, birds and the occasional panicked “ wait where did the dogs go?!” We loved it and will be back

Great house in a fantastic location! Kids enjoyed the rope swing and book selection at the house. We loved the beautiful setting but still being close to all the wineries/breweries and restaurants that we love.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was so cute and the surrounding area/campground was beautiful! Plenty of room for the dog to run and my son loved walking through the woods around the camp area. We will definitely be back!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Carriage House. Great location to various spots in Crozet. The kitchen is well stocked. We have everything we need for a short getaway to visit family in the area.

What a great place for our family to stay during W&L Graduation week! The location is beautiful and just a few minutes from downtown Lexington! We loved being right next to the tasting room to just walk over and grab a few of bottles of wine! I loved that my dogs were able to be a part of our mini-vacay. The gated back area was so convenient and perfect for our pups. I would recommend getting there during the daylight. The gravel road to the guest house is dark. Overall an amazing stay!

Andrea’s place was absolutely stunning with its rolling vineyards and wooded walking paths. Andrea was friendly and communicative. My husband and I stayed for a night while visiting friends in the area. We went on a little hike and also loved being greeted by the sweet farm dogs (completely optional if you’re not a dog person- she checked in advance). The house was decorated with love, with so many little thoughtful details, and the bed was huge and comfy! We’d love to stay here again.

I highly recommend The Ivy Rose Tea House. The owners were very thoughtful in the design and decor of the house, and the setting is both peaceful and beautiful. Easy access to hiking trails to the west and to Charlottesville to the east. Would definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed here multiple times, and it was as great as we’ve always experienced! Will always be our go to spot to stay when in Nellysford!

The cabin is excellent. It is in a quiet and beautiful location. It is very well maintained and equipped. I highly recommend it.

Stayed here for a couple nights for the purpose of celebrating an anniversary and riding bicycles. It’s a great location that’s close enough to Charlottesville but also far enough away that it’s quiet and peaceful. Sidenote, if you’re into Cycling, then it’s a great jump off location.

This place is a great gateway for a family with dogs. The pups loved it as much as us! Stunning views, extremely private and peaceful. The hosts were wonderful. I’d recommend this spot to anyone.
