Kid-friendly holiday rentals in St. Paul's Bay

Very nice accommodation at a convenient location, just 10 minutes by ferry to Valletta.

There is something magical about staying in the heart of Mdina!! And despite the impracticalities, we’d happily do it again!! This place is a real unique find!!!! We loved being able to walk around after the tourists had left and enjoy the magic of the place. It’s really ‘money can’t buy’ stuff. The property is exactly as described - not for you if you want luxury and all the modern conveniences - it’s quirky and a bit of an odd layout. It can also be a bit of a challenge with parking/traffic - we struggled one day and can’t imagine what it might be like in the height of summer. Would highly recommend coming up the back way to Greek’s Gate via Triq l-Għarreqin. I would say from 7am - 9pm it can be quite loud, but we were out and about so didn’t bother us. It may sound like we’re being negative, but we’re not… we just think this property deserves guests who appreciate it for what it is and don’t expect it to be something else. The accommodation looks exactly like in the pictures: it has all the facilities mentioned. Very easy to communicate with the owner. It is near the main bus station. We highly recommend it!

A Perfect Stay in the Heart of Malta! We absolutely loved our stay at this gem of an Airbnb in Rabat, right next to the stunning, historic city of Mdina. The location couldn’t have been better—just a stone’s throw from charming restaurants (GO TO YANA'S), cozy cafes (GO TO CHALK), and beautiful walks through the medieval streets. It was also the ideal central hub for exploring the rest of Malta, with easy access to transport links and a peaceful atmosphere to come back to after a day of adventuring. We did hire a car and a big car park at the top of Labini street The property itself was spotless, stylishly furnished, and had all the comforts of home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to make our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The hosts were warm, responsive, and gave us excellent local tips that really made our trip special. We’d return in a heartbeat—highly recommended to anyone visiting Malta!

We loved staying at By The Sea and spent a lot of time on the front terrace taking in the views and sunsets! The location is central to restaurants, beaches and attractions. The house is spacious and perfect for traveling in a group so that everyone can spread out and be comfortable.

This place is absolutely stunning. So peaceful, both inside and out in the beautiful garden. Authentic & historic. The local village and area are very interesting to walk around - I recommend the Zebbug loop (if you don't mind a steep hill!) Very well stocked, even a bottle of prosecco was provided, beach towels, etc. Ana was very helpful, recommending local beaches and restaurants, and always responsive, kindly allowing me a late checkout on the last day. My one comment, as someone else has said, is it should be made clearer in the description that the place is all really one room, with no real separation between bedroom, kitchen and living room. This doesn't matter if you are 1 or 2, but may affect groups of 3 depending on their makeup, as there is no real privacy.

Great 3 night stay in Malta! My friends and I loved the space and it was very comfortable for 3 people. Many food options that are walkable and great beaches are a short distance away. I even forgot the key in the apartment once and the host was able to give us a spare. Thank you!

The apartment is spotless, very nice with magnificent views of the bay. We felt good there and really on vacation. If we have to come back we hope to be able to book this place again.

We had a thoroughly great day in St Pauls Bay at this apartment. It was in a quieter part of town, but walking distance to restaurants and busier areas. The apartment itself is well layout and private. We visited with our two year-old, which was difficult with the marble floors and stairs, but was manageable and would stay again. The air conditioning worked well and there was everything needed for light meals and bonus for a coffee machine. Thanks for a great stay.

We fell in love with the apartment the moment we stepped in. Everything was neat and impeccably clean. A wonderful balcony, a large living room and two generous bedrooms with separate bathrooms which you can enter from the bedroom and a third bathroom you can enter from the living room. The kitchen has everything one would need. It’s a dream home. There are many restaurants, shops and cafes around, but most importantly - public transport stops with buses to take us anywhere on the island are just around the corner. The hosts were responsive and very friendly, the neighborhood is quiet (with occasional construction sites) and easy to walk around. When we booked, we decided to spend 4 days in this place and another 4 in another AirBnB near Valetta. I am now sorry we didn’t book this apartment for the entire week, as the quality of the places to stay around Valetta is a lot lower for the same amount of money and you can get everywhere by bus

Lovely host and accommodation.

Caroline was such a great host, she left us a folder full of contacts for food and things to do round Malta. Great location as there are restaurants and shops near by and even good transport links. Gadeira bay being 10mins away on the bus.

Such a great find, we loved the pool and hot tub! Rooms were clean and we pretty much had everything we needed. Location perfect for what we wanted and was easy to get about with Bolt. Local area not the prettiest but good selection of restaurants/bars and we had a an amazing time and can highly recommended

The host was very responsive and understanding when we asked to move our check-in time earlier, which we really appreciated. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s also well located, close to both the beaches and the city center.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, plus some lovely extras like fresh coffee and an ironing board. The washing machine’s 15-minute cycle was especially handy for a quick turnaround of clothes. The views from the apartment were extraordinary, both during the day and at night. We didn’t use any of the common areas of the apartment block and wouldn’t have used the pool, so we can’t comment on those. The apartment was ideal for our holiday. We had a car and spent our 10-day stay exploring Gozo and Malta with ease. We would happily stay again if the mattress is replaced—it was very, very uncomfortable. Aside from that it was a great stay. Thank you!

Lovely, spacious apartment that was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Really well located too, with a supermarket immediately next door and lots of shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk. If you’re up for a longer walk you can even get to Sliema within 15 minutes. Really easy to jump a taxi to Valletta and anywhere else on the island too, or there’s a bus stop right outside the supermarket. Jane was a super host, letting us check-in early and responding within seconds to rescue us when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the building!

Lovely apartment. Amazing environment in the old fort, on top of a mountain with fabulous view. Clean and comfortable! Mariella was very communicative and gave great recommendations. We highly recommend the place!

We had the best stay here !! Such a good location, near to the sea, shops, restaurants and a bus stop to get around easily. We had such a wonderful welcome and felt so at home and at ease. The apartment was lovely and really clean and we loved the balcony. The road works were really not noticeable and they barely affected our stay at all, especially because we were out in the days. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!
