Family-friendly holiday rentals in St. Johann im Pongau District

Very nice host for a wonderful place to stay. We spent 11 days skiing over New Year’s - Martin was super responsive and friendly and supplied us with lots of useful infos on dining and skiing arrangements.

Everything was just perfect! The property and apartment are super nice, you can see it is very well taken care of, including the smallest details to make you feel cozy! Birgitta and Mikael are great hosts!

An excellent apartment for young families: great large eating and living area. Large beds and bedrooms, and sofa beds. The hotel had an excellent swimming pool area, playground and generally extremely child friendly.

Very helpful host. Location was good, and amenities were great. Easy check in / out. We had access to swimming pools and saunas, which was great after a days activities in the mountains. You can reach the ski lift with in 10 minutes walk. Kitchen had everything what we needed for the duration of our stay. Will recommend this place to my friends and probably will be using Xenia’s place again if I’ll be in the area.

We had a wonderful time at the MandlwandLodge! It combines traditional cabin feeling with modern comfort. We had everything we need and felt right home. The place itself is made with a lot of love to detail and it was a warm welcome. The view form the apartment is amazing because the cabin surrounded by the mountains. You also can start a hike directly from the house. We're looking forward to our next stay at MandlwandLodge!

We had a wonderful week. The cottage run by Maikel and Britt is beautiful and very well located in a medium mountain setting (1350 m) located at the foot of the Hochkönig in a bucolic and relaxing setting. Maikel and Britt are very welcoming and friendly, always present for good advice. The cottage is very clean, spacious, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The sauna is very useful after a good walk. The village of Mühlbarch am Hochkönig is located downstairs 5 km away in a small valley in the center of many hikes and also a family ski resort. We would recommend it.

Great, modern accommodation, excellent natural location and very well appointed. We plan to come back!

Great place to stay for a summer and winter vacation. Very nice surroundings with many possibilities. The cabin has everything you need - and more. The tiled stove and fire pit are especially great for relaxing evenings by the fire. For 2 people + dog also the right size. We'd love to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay! We stayed with 2 families and it was perfect Each family had their own space with separate toilet and shower The kitchen is huge and the balconies are amazing Everything was clean and tidy Beds are comfortable And it was very comfortable to walk around Beds were comfortable and had hot water all the time There were bunnies we could pet The facilities in the yard for girls and the room playing in the house were perfect - everything is big and varied It was just great

We were very warmly welcomed by Julia. The apartment was beautiful and we settled in immediately. Everything you need is there. We slept super well and enjoyed a great view every morning, whether waking up or at the breakfast table. We especially liked the service of getting fresh rolls delivered to the door every morning! A big thank you again! Our daughter was blown away by the animals and would love to jump on the trampoline forever... the environment itself is very quiet, which did not bother us at all because by car you can get to different places to explore super fast.. In the evening we could comfortably end the day by the fireplace with a glass of wine or relax in the sauna for two. We as a family can recommend this wonderful place with a clear conscience! It is definitely a great break from the stressful everyday life in the chaotic city life.

We had a super nice time at David's cabin, were able to hike directly from the log cabin . Nearby by car 5 minutes a ski lift for the skiers are ideal. Beautiful view of the mountains and nice neighborhood. We recovered very well. You could always rely on David, didn't have to go long waiting for a response, had also given us great information in advance Thanks again to David

Great choice for bigger groups

An absolutely magical stay! 🌲🏡 The house itself is a pure wood dream. Nestled in the forest and with a panoramic view of the mountains, you wake up here every morning with the feeling of living in a postcard motif. Our host Bernhard was also on the upper floor of the house during our stay. He was exceptionally friendly and attentive. He nurtured our timber-building curiosity by patiently explaining the construction process, showing videos, and answering all our questions with passion. The house was very clean, superbly equipped and cozy – firewood was always ready, the kitchen offers everything you need to cook, and the large windows bring the forest directly into the living room. Watching the peaks of the Dachstein over a coffee on the terrace was an unforgettable highlight. If you are looking for peace, nature and authentic wooden architecture, this is the place to be. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time staying at Michaela's farm! The surroundings and backdrop are beautiful, there are opportunities to walk, hike and also swim nearby. The room was very clean & well maintained. Breakfast and dinner were great! Tasty regional products, fresh and varied. Michaela is a great cook - be sure to taste her dinner. Around it everything your heart desires for children, such as playground, trampoline and especially the animals around & in the house! Would definitely go again!

We had a lovely post-Christmas week at Michaela's place. We had group of 14 people and were able to sleep comfortably. The house is clean and up to date. There are nice walking paths nearby. We easily drove to Alpendorf to ski in about 15-20 minutes. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it to friends.

Eva was wonderful and the apartment was perfect for us, family with 4 children. Highly recomended

I wish I could give this place over 5 stars. The space was well thought out, spacious and clean. The sauna and pool were refreshing after a long day exploring the area. We will be back again!

We wanted to relax for a few more days at the end of the holidays, which we were able to do. The hosts are very nice and warm, the apartment is nice and large and very clean. The children were also thrilled with the pool and the animals. We would go back 😀

Excellent apartment to stay for a week during the winter sports holiday. Clean and spacious. Very friendly hostess who lives above the apartment. The apartment also has a garden where, given the beautiful weather, we were also able to enjoy the sun outside. The stop for the ski bus is 5 minutes walk. The center of St Johan 10 minutes.

There were four of us, four adults. The apartment was large and everything was available. Very well located and plenty of parking is available right in front of the house. Flachau Spacejet 1 can be reached in about 8 minutes by car. 3-5 minutes away are supermarkets, e.g. MPreis (bakery there highly recommended). The apartment was sparkling clean and Ms. Passrucker is super nice. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful vacation in the mountains with Roswitha and her family. A nice apartment in a very quiet location with a stunning view from the balcony. That's exactly how we imagine our vacation. For the children there are many play opportunities, rabbits and a very well-kept pool. We also very much enjoyed the breakfast service (large selection of fresh rolls, sausage and cheese). There are many great family excursion destinations, restaurants and a supermarket nearby that is open 7 days a week. We will definitely be coming back!
