Chalet holiday rentals in St. Johann im Pongau District

The three of us (one adult and two teenagers) spent a wonderfully relaxing week here. Christoph is a great and uncomplicated host who responds very promptly to questions. The cottage itself is exactly as described. The approach is via a narrow path (on which we met two riders on our arrival, which led to a not entirely easy "reverse maneuver"). Behind the house, a stream splashes, but you can't hear it with the windows closed (although I'm quite sensitive to noise). In front of the house, a hiking trail passes by that we used for two tours ("Hochebene Maria Elend - Kapelleralm Runde von Embach" and "Spektakulärer Skywalk - Taxenbach-Wasserfall Runde von Taxenbach" ... just check Komoot). The Berggolf round (clubs and balls are available in the information office in the village) is also fun. The Langreiter pizzeria is highly recommended. The only sticking point: the bunk bed for people > 1.90m.

This was our second stay at Tatjana’s beautiful house and we loved it. Thank you. The location is picturesque and the house is fantastically equipped to ensure your alpine holiday, is wonderful. Combine that with the great ski areas of Sport Gastein and Bad Gastein; perfect! Thank you again Tatjana and for the delicious strudel. XxX

A huge thank you to Anja & Stefan They have created a perfect oasis with their beautiful home. The love and hard work that must have gone into building and creating this house is remarkable. Time went so quickly, we could easily have stayed much longer! The sauna at the end of the day after skiing was such a treat, and the kitchen is probably better equipped than ours at home. A huge thank you to Anja & Stefan for sharing their home with us and letting us stay. We hope to be back very soon.

Had super great 5 days at the place. The house really offers EVERYTHING to feel immediately comfortable. Very nicely decorated, very clean and also the property manager on site was very friendly. The location is very good - all in all an absolute recommendation! Kind regards, Lukas

We chose Bernhard's house for a meeting of three families with children from different places. We couldn't have chosen better. Bernhard's property absolutely suited us with its size, location, and amenities, thanks to which we spent valuable time with friends. The property completely matched the description and nothing from the description was missing. Moreover, Bernhard communicated very proactively and promptly answered any questions we had. There are many hiking trails of various difficulties in the area. It is definitely a place we would like to return to. Certainly, they will return to the area in winter for great skiing.

Great, modern accommodation, excellent natural location and very well appointed. We plan to come back!

Lovely home, in a quiet and beautiful place. The home was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. The host and his son were extremely nice and charming and helped us with everything we needed and always with a smile. We had a perfect stay.

Our stay in the mountains was simply fantastic. The view from the balcony was breathtaking every day – a real treat for the senses. The house is in a wonderfully quiet environment, ideal to escape everyday life and recharge your batteries. As soon as you leave the house, you are in the middle of nature: walks with an impressive view of the surrounding mountains and the pristine landscape invite you to linger. It's easy here to unplug and unwind. The kitchen was modern and well equipped – cooking was really enjoyable. In the evening, we let the day end in the in-house sauna relaxed – a real highlight! Overall a completely successful stay, which we would repeat at any time.

Albi and Alex’s place oozes classic Austrian charm. It is right on the slopes and easy to get to and from. They were super proactive and helpful hosts and made sure to give us loads of great recommendations. They also helped us massively with luggage at check in and check out.

Great place with beautiful views, a minute or two away from the lift. If there is enough snow you can even ski down to the house.

We had a fantastic holiday with Christian in the smaller of the two Onkl Xonna Chalets. We traveled with 8 months old baby and dog Christian made everything possible - from the perfect food to the chalet, to the massage and the door gate for our crawling world champion. Everything at the highest level, a fantastic view from the outdoor sauna and magnificent nature right outside the door. We will be back!!

Beate and Snejana are excellent hosts and their place is absolutely beautiful! They made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had a great time and would certainly recommend this place!

We had a Looking for accommodation with the whole family (6 adults, 4 infants, 2 dogs) and ended up in Chalet Franzi by accident - we had a wonderful stay. The kids loved the garden, the free entrance to the pool was an extra highlight. There was enough room for everyone and we adults could sit comfortably together in the evening. The furnishings of Chalet Franzi are really nice and functional (the beds are super comfortable). We will be happy to come back!

The cottage was easily accessible. Check-in and check-out are very straightforward. Unfortunately we had very bad weather, but when we entered the house it was nice and warm and very comfortable. That is why we enjoyed staying indoors and enjoyed our time there. Each room had its own bathroom with toilet, which is really great. Overall, we had a great stay. Absolutely recommended.

We were lucky enough to take a week of winter vacation in Charlet Kreuzkogel. Already when we entered the house, we all felt very comfortable. The sauna of the fireplace and the quiet just outside location, made our stay perfect. Everything is within walking distance and was just ideally located for us with two dogs. We will be happy to come back next year.

The place was really great. Super kid friendly and great location. There is another house between the house and the lake, but there is still direct access to the lake. It's also really great and great cooling in the summer. The owners are always available and available in the restaurant next door (this is also highly recommended!).
