Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Springfield

I gave this 5 stars, and it deserves it. It's a full basement, nearly full kitchen in the bar area. It's decorated like a cool rec room. ( Looks like a fancy, high end "man cave" - low beautiful lighting, a brand new ping pong table, winsporting, beer and wine decorations) But look at the pictures. It's not " cozy". It's cool.

Clean and welcoming. Host responded quickly to anything. Lovely place. Comfortable bed. Good area. Would definitely stay there again

Susan was so welcoming and greeted at the door even though I had a late arrival. She was very friendly and accommodating. I am thankful she opened her beautiful home to me as a guest.

Me and my partner spent a week at this Airbnb and we enjoyed staying in there. The place is quiet, the house is just like in the photos, and very comfortable. It’s in a convenient location, only 3 minutes from public transportation, close to Old Town, and with easy access to Washington D.C. I definitely recommend it!

This was a great find near our family in Arlington. The room was clean and just as described. Will hopefully stay again next time we visit our family in the neighborhood. Thanks Michael!

i loved staying at Emilio's place, it was comfortable and I had everything I needed. Emilio was a lovely, kind and very hospitable host, I felt very well looked after. The location was just right, in easy reach of sights, shopping and restaurants. i would stay here again anytime and highly recommend Emilio's place.

This a a great place in a very quite neighborhood.

My friends and I booked a night here while attending a concert in the area. Dimitry was very accommodating and the instructions given for checking in and checking out were very clear and easy to understand. Upon entering, the airbnb was very tidy and smelled clean and fresh. Just a heads up: they do have a dog (barks but ultimately uninterested in guests, we had no issues), and you will be able to hear movement from upstairs if the family is home. Also, there is no way to control the thermostat from the Airbnb. These weren’t an issue for us but just wanted to mention it in case it is useful for anyone else. We were highly satisfied with our stay, and we would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed at Erin’s place for a night and wish it was longer! The room is steps away from the restaurant I met with my friends at. It is situated near all that Del Ray and the rest of Alexandria has to offer. In addition, the bed was quite comfortable and the suite itself is quite luxurious.

We had a wonderful night in no small part to our great experience with Roger. He was so helpful and gracious and had such a upbeat and positive presence. The accommodations were so very nice and beautifully appointed. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Would love to stay for a few days so we can really enjoy Occoquan.

It's no surprise why this listing is always booked. Located in a quiet neighborhood near the airport with lots of dogs, this property is insanely cute. This is an amazing place for solo travelers or couples. It was a perfect place to spend the weekend. If its available for the dates of your travel I would highly recommend booking here.

Lena is a great host - she was very helpful with a last-minute travel issue. The apartment worked out well for us. Everything was modern, clean, and in great working condition. One thing that may matter to you - if you specifically want to be in or within walking distance of Old Town Alexandria, you're going to be about 15-20 minutes away by car. That said, the location is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, and a nice break from the DC area overall. Highly recommend.

This is the second time I was at Isabella 's place. We had Annie's place this time. The water view view and the beautifully themed decor are absolutely gorgeous. It's so close to DC and such a lovely getaway. It's in the heart of historic Occuquan surrounded not only by the awesome restaurants but also near the waterfall and park, which is perfect to stroll around after dinner. Thanks, Isabella - for a lovely stay. We look forward to returning.

We will definitely be back is the best endorsement. Quiet basement space that is in a safe and accessible neighborhood- one bed, living room, kitchen with induction stove, bathroom and cute dining area. Private entrance through the side gate with flood lights making late check in safe and easy. The owner is extremely responsive and lives upstairs but you barely hear anything. It had everything we needed and more. Internet connection was not lightening fast but you can still get online.

Love this clean calm space-the balcony was wonderful. Mark was super responsive, checked in on us and we had everything we needed-especially in the kitchen. Great location for walking to restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay again!

My friends and I had an amazing stay at George’s place. The location was perfect, we weren’t far at all from the attractions we wanted to see. The unit was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. My favorite area was the patio and my friends enjoyed the shower with the jets after a long day of traveling. I would definitely stay again and recommend highly to anyone visiting DC.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Thank you Sean, Megan and Loren for all your helpfulness and a lovely stay!

Great space in a perfect location in Old Town. Starbucks on the same block, Trader Joe’s quick walk, close to King Street and the water. Place matched pictures and I would love to stay there again when I’m in the area.

Truly a 5-star Superhost! The place was spotless, perfectly located, and within easy reach of everything we needed. The host was incredibly attentive—quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Can’t recommend this place enough!
