Holiday rentals with lake access in Spotsylvania County

My family and I were very pleased with Eric and his lake house. It was perfect, clean, and very inviting. The home and location matched the pictures; in fact, it was better in person. Everything we wanted to do was there, we only went to the market. Eric was very attentive and when I had a question or a concern- he was quick to follow up and he was a great communicator. He responses were prompt and friendly. This meant everything to me. He did not act like a stranger; he welcomed us into his beautiful home. If I had my way, I'd still be there but work calls. I would highly recommend Eric and his lake house. I'm already talking to my husband about making plans to go back next year around the same time. If you're looking for a home beside the water with kayaks, grills, fire pit, and life jackets and close to beaches and most importantly a host who cares and will be attentive, check out this property and Eric. They both deliver.

Derek & Nathan are super hosts! Both hosts are extremely communicative, accommodating, proactive, flexible, professional, and understanding. Our group of 8 was worried of the possibility the snowy weather would affect our travel dates but our hosts took the time out to shovel clearing the exterior prior to our arrival and even providing us with snow materials such as shovels, salt, etc. just in case we needed it. The images didn’t do the interior enough justice either! The home was beautiful, peaceful, quiet, cozy and extremely spacious. For shopping I would recommend doing it early since there is only Food Lion & Dollar General as grocery options but there is an ABC store close by as well if you are into spirits. We will 100% return if our group ever prepares to stay in Mineral again. Thank you both once again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful—perfect for a girls' weekend getaway! The fire pit and dock created such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. There were plenty of beds, extra blankets, and towels, which made the stay incredibly comfortable. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the floaties, pool noodles, and life vests at the dock house. The kitchen was impressively organized with every drawer and cabinet labeled, and it was fully stocked with all the spices we could possibly need—cooking meals was a breeze. Everything about this stay was a 10/10. Highly recommend!

It is a beautiful home and wonderful hosts. They made us feel right at home and so respectful and responsive. It is a beautiful peaceful place to stay. We will come back and will recommend this home to others. Thank you for having us.

This place is great! Melissa was very responsive and helpful. There are activities to do in the house and at the water, and the location was wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay at Tracy's place! Came down to do a triathlon at Lake Anna. Very peaceful area and the house itself was very inviting and comfy. The main bed was a bit hard but that is more to do with my personal taste than anything. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was great! It had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. I would suggest packing water shoes for the little ones. We did not and left with a couple cuts but nothing serious.

It was a lovely home, loved the open space 1st level, it was inviting and bright. The king sized beds in every room made sleeping very comfortable for couples and the mattress, sheets and towels were clean. The bunk beds were also nice to have in the upstairs bedrooms. The check in was flawless (from lockbox code to security check in) and your response time was very quick. I did want to mention the house needs a bit of TLC particularly the outdoor area, the grill however worked perfectly with plenty of propane gas! Inside the home, thank you for providing the necessities: toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, etc. it definitely made staying at the house easier. Plenty of kitchenware and cooking supplies. Again some TLC but nothing major. Lastly, a “nice to have” would be a bigger tv in the living space and maybe some smart tv’s in the bedrooms. All in all the house was great and definitely provided a nice place for us to stay during my dad’s birthday. Thank you.

Such a great space with everything you need. You’ll enjoy your view in the comfort of the space. The view and the environment were great but having a place to be comfortable in was even better.

My wife and I enjoyed our long weekend at your apartment very much. It was my wife's college reunion weekend, and this apartment was a great place in which to access everything. Great historic building that has been renovated in a very responsible manner.

An amazing stay for our group! It was a beautiful and peaceful environ and the house and local neighborhood had some fantastic amenities and perks that we were fully encouraged to enjoy and take advantage of. We had a full group of 8 people and and it was perfect for our needs.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The cottage is completely remodeled and provides a great space for a small family to interact and enjoy the lake. We had a mix of cooking on the Blackstone/kitchen and eating at some of the local restaurants on the lake. Christine and her husband were very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful week on the lake. We used paddleboards and rented boats and wave runners from the local marinas. Smores by the fire pit were a bonus!

We had an incredible stay! The host Jae is very responsive. The place is perfect for anyone who loves fishing, kayaking, and water sports. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to the water and all the equipment you could need. The peaceful surroundings made it even more enjoyable. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Highly recommend for outdoor enthusiasts—can’t wait to come back!

We really enjoyed staying at this Lake Anna house and recommend it! The house sits on a small cove off the lake, and they have kayaks and a canoe, along with several life jackets. You can set the boats in the water and paddle off right away. This isn't a part of the lake where you can swim, unfortunately, but it is not far from places where you can swim. Putt putt, ice cream, lake rental, and a seafood restaurant are a short (less than 10 minutes) kayak ride away or just a 2-3 minute drive. There was a nest of red-tailed hawks in one of the front trees, which was very cool to watch. The yard is sloped down to the water, so very fun for running and playing, but don't bring a soccer ball or it will end up in the lake(!). Note that the bedroom with the bunk beds (in the basement) is directly off the big basement bedroom, so you have to go through that bedroom to get to the bunk beds. (Was only a minor issue when kiddos got up early and were noisy.) Kitchen was big and well appointed!

Very nice house. Served our purpose perfectly. Amber was helpful and good at communicating. The listing does warn renters of cameras.

My partner and I loved staying here. The hosts were super helpful and responsive and even had snacks waiting for us at check-in! Very peaceful and beautiful. Would stay here again!
