Family-friendly holiday rentals in Southside

We really enjoyed our stay. Stanford’s place was perfect. The resort was great, with nice restaurants and access to the beach. There are taxi drivers in the lobby so it was easy to get around. It was even close to the ferry so we went to St. John’s twice for the carnival. Will definitely stay here again.

To say Keshri’s apartment was fabulous would be an understatement! The view from the balcony was nothing short of breathtaking—like a living postcard or a dreamlike screensaver. Each morning, we sipped our coffee while watching catamarans glide across the turquoise sea—pure serenity. The walk to the pristine beach was quick and easy, making it effortless to enjoy the sun and sand whenever we wished. Great restaurants were just a short walk or drive away, and we also discovered a few hidden-gem beaches nearby that were perfect for exploring and snorkeling. On evenings we chose to stay in, the well-appointed kitchen made cooking simple and enjoyable. With grocery stores close by, it was easy to stock up and feel right at home. We had an unforgettable week at Keshri’s place and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful, picture-perfect island escape. Goodbye for now—and see you again, USVI St. Thomas. You truly stole our hearts!

This property is wonderful. The resort staff is amazing, the room was perfect, and everything we wanted to do was only a taxi cab ride (or short walk) away. We will definitely look for Janee’s place again when we come back to St. Thomas!

Condo unit was exactly as described. Had one issue with the refrigerator and it was resolved immediately. The location at Elysian Bay was one of the best resort locations with a private beach, amazing swimming pool area and two great restaurants on site. There is a grocery store located only a few miles away for those that wish to cook in. Nearby community of Red Hook offered the party vibe feel along with a variety of restaurants. The location of this unit on St Thomas island couldn't have been better. I will highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an island getaway without the multitudes of people that an all inclusive contains.

a little tough to find in the rain and dark, but the location is excellent and it's the end unit on the beach next to the restaurant. the convenience and proximity to the east end goings on was excellent. theres also a bunch of snorkeling equipment, bug spray, sunscreen , etc thats left from other guests. again, super handy.

This was our second year staying in the condo and we loved it just as much this time as before. The views from every room of the condo are just spectacular, so we are constantly reminded of where we are and to chill! Perhaps the most striking thing about the condo aside from the views is that it feels like someone's home rather than a rental. The appliances (large and small) are top notch, and inside and outside dining are comfortable and have as good a view as you would find anywhere. Coming "home" from exploring the beaches was something to look forward to every day, as it meant watching the sun go down from the balcony with a cocktail and nowhere to be. We also discovered the easy way to walk into town, which somehow we missed last year, so we saved on some taxi fares (though walking back up the hill is a bit of a workout). Parking was always available. It would be tough to find anything to complain about unless you were really trying. We hope to return again soon.

That was a great stay, nice views, and very close to beach. Note that it is a murphy bed / pull down bed.

The location is very close to the waterfront and accessible to other activities. Host was very nice and responsive.

Marvin's place was awesome! He was super responsive, always there if we had questions. I wish every Airbnb was like his. He helped us tons, and it really felt like home. He even left us fresh fruit and local goodies – such a nice touch! Definitely recommend it. The view was amazing every morning too. Thanks for everything!

Chris was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions. She also gave us local recommendations and had a cooler and beach chairs available for us to take to the local beaches.

Just wow!!! We’ve been coming to the islands for about 30 years, mostly staying in St. John… but the views from this villa were the best we have ever had! The villa was just extremely practical and homey! The king beds and cold AC helped us to recover from long days of hikes, snorkels, beaches, and shopping! The decor was so nice and we loved the live plants and orchids! We enjoyed the huge tv as we watched the college World Series in the evenings. The breezes through the villa were very relaxing! We will plan to come again! Thanks Michael for being so helpful, attentive, and quick to respond!

Amazing place to stay !!

Wanted a place to take our family and extended family of friends on a vacation they would always remember. This absolutely was that and more. Kids were in awe and so were we. Things we did include going to honeymoon bay multiple x to enjoy the beach, eat and have a few adult beverages. Went to mainland to shop & explore. Ingrid made our stay so much the better w her amazing energy. The massages from her were best I've ever had. Kids had a drum circle night and that was amazing. Our hosts son took us out on his sail boat, super exciting afternoon. The creatures at 4 elements were a fun part of trip. Hermit crabs. Turtles, lizards and cool sounding frogs. My number one recommendation would be to make sure you rent a golf cart before arrival. The walking up hills was likely good for me but I didn't like it 😂. I believe they book up quick so rent golf cart before you arrive. The property is so amazingly beautiful so worth going. Hope we can make it back another year.

Jeff’s condo on Dorothea Bay is in the perfect location. The condo is located outside of the hustle and bustle. All of the neighbors are very friendly and respectful. Debbie was very helpful as well. Debbie greeted us as soon as we arrived and she always answers her phone if you have any questions for her. The condo is located just feet from the ocean (not exaggerating). There’s a beautiful beach you can hike to nearby called Neltjeberg Beach (ask Debbie for directions). I highly recommend you visit Neltjeberg Beach. It is a beautiful beach and very secluded. You will probably only run in to maximum 5 people when you visit Neltjeberg Beach. If you’re looking for a place that is very peaceful and beautiful to stay at during your visit to the US Virgin Islands, then this is the place for you.

I loved my stay here, the space was beautiful, clean and has sm character. Despite having AC the home stayed cool with the many windows and fans. The driver that Bg recommends got us everywhere we needed to go and always prompt. Overall would love to go back to ST. Thomas just to stay at this Airbnb so peaceful and quiet ugh a dream!!

The view from balcony was wonderful. Easy short walk to a great beach and snorkeling. Nice to have several different places To eat at, poolside and on the beach. Thankfully His condo building is at ground level and you don’t have to climb Way up the hill. There is snorkeling gear, beach chairs and beach towels in the unit. Taxi stand at the beach can get you anywhere, including near by Red Hook for groceries at Moe’s market.

Lourdes place was just a short walk to the beach. She was always responsive and helped us with everything we asked. Very close to beach restaurants and bar. I would stay here again. Thank you Lourdes for making our stay so easy and seamless.

Location and Views are great, the unit had all we needed. We hade an amazing time!!

It was even better in person than the pictures! The condo is appointed nicely and oh my, that view! Walking out directly onto the palm tree adorned Sapphire Beach with the Middle Passage directly in view makes it a special place for couples! The food is great at the adjoining beach restaurants and we enjoyed cooking fresh seafood and pasta in the condo one night as well.

Very nice place and was as as laid out in the description. The stairs getting to the place and going lower to get to the restaurant and beaches could be arduous if you're not the most active person. overall, it fit our need for a nice comfy place to sleep and gave us easy access to places to go. I would stay here again.

Great location on St Thomas for all points east or west. Quiet and private! We would definitely stay here again.

Loopy’s place was great. A couple bumps in the road to start, but Loopy was quick to reply and remedy. The view is PERFECT. Literally steps to the ocean. Resort is a little run down, but the condo itself looks newly remodeled. Would absolutely recommend staying here

Place was nice, in a great area! Close to everything! St. Thomas is always great overall, so no complaints! The apartment looked as pictured. I loved the shower that gave the outside aesthetic but still had a covering! Washer and dryer being in unit was a plus! We loved the pool and deck! I will say, it is time for a new couch as the AC is directly over it, so it’s leaking onto it, leaving a stain.. but other than that, we had no complaints whatsoever! Check in was seamless!
