5⭐️ Exceptional Experience at Lakeside Lodge, Chichester! We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Lakeside Lodge in Chichester Lakeside Holiday Park, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way! The lodge itself is stunning, with a luxurious feel and impeccable furnishings that made our stay feel like a 5-star retreat. But what truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional service and personal touches provided by Dylan, Aaron, and the family. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The thoughtfulness that went into preparing our stay was remarkable, a beautifully presented hamper of goodies, a fully stocked fridge with milk, and even a pair of cozy slippers to make us feel at home! The personal welcome note added the perfect touch. The views from the lodge are simply breathtaking 😍. Waking up to the serene surroundings and gazing out across the lake was a daily highlight. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful and large house, with a great conservatory ideal for hanging out. Our kids are similar age to theirs and the house was perfectly equipped for them with toys, a zip line, and a pool that we did not get to use. The views to the downs are stunning. And Nick was a great host, always available.

We had a great family meet up before Xmas. Although the weather was cold the place was great for a walk along the beach and being able to see the sea was great. Must be even better in the summer.

The hosts have really tried to make a lovely, tech-friendly space, with some success. The decor is simple, elegant and welcoming. The TVs and projector all do their thing. Sockets have USBs and Alexa is there to help out in most places with lights and music. The pool is just deep enough and good for a splash. The jacuzzi was lovely. And you get the occasional visit from a Red Squirrel in the garden. Ryde seafront, town and train are all walkable and have enough to feed and entertain.

We had a great stay at Crystal’s accommodation. It was as described—clean, well-equipped, and located on a large, well-maintained caravan site. There was plenty to keep the kids entertained, but it was also peaceful and relaxing for the adults. The onsite facilities were easy to access, and the short walk to a beautiful, quiet sandy beach was a real highlight. It’s also just a short drive to many local attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. Crystal was a responsive and helpful host throughout.

Our time in Rosie’s caravan was truly enjoyable. The space was spotless and well-organized, making it feel immediately welcoming. The shower had excellent pressure and consistently hot water, which was a real treat. We had no issues with the TV reception, and everything worked smoothly. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, complemented by soft, supportive pillows. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped—everything we needed was right at our fingertips. Rosie herself was a fantastic host—warm, quick to respond, and full of helpful local tips that really enhanced our trip. We will come back again!

Thank you Carolyn for a lovely break at your lodge. It was an ideal location for my Dad's 86th birthday being 15 minutes from the coast and close to the sorts of places he enjoys (West Dean Gardens, Amberley Heritage Museum). We enjoyed our evenings in the Lodge overlooking the Lake. It wasn't quite warm enough to sit out but I imagine it would be lovely in the summer. The space was warm, welcoming, comfortable and we all slept well in this very well-kept and nicely furnished home. Would we return? Most definitely. Thank you. My Dad is looking forward to a return visit.

Perfect place if you re looking for some peace and relaxed environment. Ideal for a family of 4. This cozy and detached property is just a mile drive to the Hayling Island beach/Funland with lot of rides for kids and just a 10 mins walk to Tesco express if needed for groceries. The hosts Simon and Carolyn are very nice. Very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Would love to stay again. Highly recommended! Miss this place..

Great little find . House was spotless , well stocked and very homely . We have a 8 month baby and the main room was ideal as was more than big enough for us . Paul was very responsive and helpful with any of our queries and instructions extremely clear , making it easy to check in and out . Would defo recommend .

Beautiful house in a perfect location (as long as you don’t mind a bit of noise from passing traffic and pub next door). The view of the sea is stunning and the house was spotlessly clean and fresh. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Sally's house is a great place to stay. There is plenty of room in the downstairs living/dining room, and all tastefully decorated with a homely feel to the space. The beds and linen are comfy, plenty of hot water and lots of nice little added touches to the house.

We were gutted we didn’t get a chance to sit in your stunning garden, so we will have to come back again, when we have more time to simply relax. It’s a gorgeous haven and we loved all of it. Beautiful location on the edge of the beach. Amazing view from sitting room and main bedroom. Light and airy house with all amenities and more. Debby answered all queries immediately. Highly recommend.

Fiona and Leo were lovely hosts. Communication was very fast and clear. At arrival we were shown inside - the house was spotless. Beds and linen spotless, after traveling it was some of the best sleep we have had. Garden area was at our disposal, had a lovely barbecue. Had space for parking. Overall very beautiful place. Wish services had been slightly closer, however uber works great in the area. Thanks for a good stay!

Stayed here last weekend for a family birthday. We could not have chosen a more perfect location or property. The amenities were perfect for a leisurely get away, loads of space inside & out. Exactly as described in the advert or reviews. All communication made for an easy arrival/check in/out and a very generous welcome hamper We were extremely lucky with the weather and sat the first evening eating & drinking outside watching red kites, hawks and the finale being a barn owl feeding in the next door field. What a treat to watch. The hot tub and electric BBQ made for an easy and fun evening. We did not explore as much as we would have liked but it was the perfect location for our weekend at Goodwood just 15 mins away. I cannot recommend highly enough if anyone needs a large space to entertain or just enjoy. I will definitely return to explore the wonderful attractions and scenery on another occasion. We had such a lovely time at The Gables. It was a beautiful space and perfect for the whole family, we will definitely book again!

I have stayed in many Airbnb properties over the years, but this surpasses them all! The location on the beach, with facilities which lacked nothing, would top anyone's expectations. The décor was bright and fresh, suiting the house perfectly. This property is of the highest standard.

We have just come home from our second stay at Wishing Well. As before, it’s spotlessly clean. An open airy lounge, diner and kitchen greet you on the first floor with lovely countryside views and on the ground floor you will find two beautiful en-suite bedrooms with very comfy beds. Brilliantly located with Appley beach just a five minute drive away. Isle of Wight distillery is just next door offering the delicious mermaid gin and a small but really good menu. Nicola and Penny are wonderful hosts and very proactive when answering messages nothing is too much trouble. We love returning here and are already booked in again for two weeks later in the year.

The location was perfect .. Closer to the Village yet still walkable to the beach .. house was ultra modern .. beautifully furnished , high quality crockery , glasses etc . Beds were super comfy and beautiful high quality bed linen . The outdoor space was perfect for the dog , would have loved a hot tub rather than a sauna ..( just saying 🤣) Great bathrooms huge showers .. will definitely re book

We absolutely loved the cottage! It was really neat and clean, decorated immaculately, with lots of homely touches. Everything worked, and it felt like a home from home. It's in a fantastic spot in Emsworth, which is a quaint town, with sea walks, boats, lots of really good cafes and restaurants, and close to other places like Bosham, and Chichester if you feel like going further afield. We would definitely recommend!
