Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Southern Suburbs

My son and I used Claydon's place as interim accommodation whilst moving. It was the perfect haven from a hard day's unpacking. Spacious, safe parking, great kitchen. Recommend.

Candice's place is accurately described, super neat and tidy. It is in walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops and has a "village atmosphere". We loved our stay and highly recommend the apartment.

This was our first trip to Cape Town but did have feedback from my daughter who is studying there. The Gardens neighborhood worked well because of its central location. Unfortunately the city is car dependent so plan on lots of Ubering - always a car within 2 minutes - even vans! The mall down the street was a blessing - pharmacy, 2 grocery stores and a bunch of other stuff. The home was so perfect for a group of 7 - probably the best was the large open living space that gave way to a work space at the dining room table, cooking space galore in the kitchen, comfy couches to watch the French Open from and then a napping window that is super cozy. There is a great outdoor table and rooftop deck but due to timing and some weather did not spend a lot of time there - but the invitation of both spaces quite charming. Would stay there without hesitation next trip if over 4 travelers!

Katya and Craig’s home is indeed, a home away from home. Situated in the peaceful suburbs of Claremont, the location provides ease of access to everything you want from Cape Town whilst giving the essence of local life in the city. As hosts, Katya and Craig are a genuinely cool and approachable couple who made me feel very welcome. And I’m going to sorely miss their cat, Rey 🥺 Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bettina’s place and Sim was super helpful. We would definitely stay here again!!

My husband and I had stayed in Loft Cottage last year, so were lucky enough to have already experienced Doreen's amazing Kutali Places - fabulous location, with amazing views, and perfect attention from a wonderful host! Unfortunately, we were only able to stay in Arum for one night on this occasion, because it exceded expectations, we would happily have stayed for several weeks! What a fabulous property - everything one could wish for. Extremely spacious, amazing for entertaining - we more than loved everything about Arum, and will definitely be returning for much longer in the near future!

I absolutely loved my time at this garden cottage. It was everything I needed for the Easter break and my dog had such a fun time sniffing about all the flowers. It had everything I needed inside it as well.

The host was incredibly kind and able to accommodate me at very short notice. The house was very clean and in a great central location.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this incredible Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need – from local snacks to fresh linens. The location was ideal – quiet and peaceful yet just a short walk from amazing restaurants, shops, and attractions. We especially loved watching the sunset each evening over the ocean. Our host was communicative, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a wonderful experience. Every little detail – from the ambient lighting to the cozy bedding – showed how much care and love went into the home.

We had a wonderful short stay with Lance and Jessica. The place presents well and just as you see it in the photos. Would not hesitate in recommending it for its beautiful views and central location. It is walking distance to the promenade which proved very convenient for morning walks to one of the many breakfast spots on offer. They were also super communicative and helpful. Thank you Lance & Jess, we hope to see you again!

The house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, with a shopping mall just a 5–10 minute walk away. Inside, the home was exceptionally clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for cooking, along with a reliable internet connection. Our host, Viyonne, was incredibly kind and attentive, promptly addressing all our requests and making us feel truly at home. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

I went for my 60th birthday with family. It was absolutely perfect in every way ! Anna was so relaxed about her special things and offered to help with further arrangement. There were so many wonderful animals for my granddaughter to enjoy.

Darrens apartment is really great. Ideally located in Sea Point, very close to shops and restaurants and very easy to access the rest of Cape Town. Easy to check in and the apartment is nice and clean, all the useful facilities listed and even bottle of wine, some coffee and milk capsules for when we arrived. Very comfortable bed. Beach towns provided. Strong WIFI. A really really great stay, it was perfect for what we needed. Thanks very much Darren!

Had a great stay. We were allowed early check-in which was so convenient. Karen was amazing and had a very detail welcome walkthrough with us. We appreciated that so much. Everything we needed were provided. Great location, will surely visit again.

Aidan has a beautiful place. It was a pleasure to stay at his home. We had all the amenities that we could ask for. We would definitely love to stay there again in the future! Highly recommend it!

Perfect location if you wish to be in Seapoint. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the promenade.

My last of back-to-back stays at Richard's place and glad I was able to return. I prefer not to stay in apartment bnbs as they're mostly noisy, which is fine if you're a tourist and going out a lot etc. So finding bnbs that are part of private homes and also have a very nice living experience isn't easy.....glad I found one that meets my needs in this regard.....highly recommended.....

Rod and Suzanne were excellent hosts! They were very hospitable and friendly. The undercover/off road paking was terrific , the wifi was excellent, the facilities were great and the birdlife in the little outside garden was great. It was quiet and extemely peaceful and the security was good.All in all a wonderful stay!

We had a really great stay at Beachball B&B. The accommodation is spacious and clean, plus it has all of the amenities you need and the complimentary wine and milk came in handy. The location is perfect in the centre of Kalk Bay and parking was easy to find on the same road. Tessa's communication was great and friendly, plus we really appreciated the early check-in and we extended our stay for one more night which was easy enough to do. I would highly recommend staying here for a comfortable stay and easy access to everything that Kalk Bay has to offer.

This little cottage is small but full of charm. I immediately felt at home. Missing the quietness and hidden away Ness. definitely would recommend

We stayed for 10 days and felt right at home. Very convenient base with lots of lovely restaurants and outdoor activities nearby. Nice to have the little extras in the house to make life easy- dishwasher and washing machine tabs, salt, pepper etc. Support from Jon and team also very smooth. We had a super time and would absolutely stay again.

Michael was a great host! His place was insanely beautiful, I only wish I could have stayed longer! I'll definitely be back in the future!!!
