Holiday rentals with a pool in Southern Shores

This is a beautiful home in a great location with awesome amenities. The kitchen was very well appointed and the hot tub and pool were well maintained. Everything was very clean and Cindy was a great host! We will absolutely be staying here again if we return to OBX.

These people are wonderful people me and my friend had an amazing time staying at there place! The place is exactly like what you see in the pictures. You will have there downstairs room to there house they will be staying in while you are there. It’s very nice that you have a walkway with access to the backyard gate which is where you’ll find your sliding glass door to your room and bathroom. You also have access to the beach bikes and the canoe which is really nice. Me and my friend brought our Blackstone down and cooked with Brad aka Sammy Hagar , lots of cool stories were shared. I had an amazing stay and I would definitely go back in the future. These people are wonderful host and the have all the suggestions of what to do , where to go

Great place. For its size and value, it literally has a ton of great features . The theatre room is amazing, especially with having kids. Has a beach volleyball court! The arcade has thousands of games and brought me back 25 years (Pac-Man, Mario, Galaga, Street Fighter, and 1,000’s more). We went when it typically would not be considered swimming weather, however, we had the option to have the pool heated at least a day or so before arriving and it made a huge difference and allowed for my girls and I to swim in early April (and I did jump in the ocean to compare and it was a 25-30 degree difference! Lol). The owner is very quick to respond, has the instructions available prior to arrival, recommendations for food, churches, , and activities. If you don’t mind a 3-5 minute stroll to the beach, it is honestly not that far away. Walmart, Target, Grocery stores, putt putt, dunes, Wings, fishing pier, are very close by. The aquarium was a 20 min drive but was worth it. Fun experience.

This is a fantastic home to stay in! I’m going to keep it in my watch list for future visits! The space is well laid out with a TON of sleeping space. The pool is very nice to have! It’s only a 5 min walk to all the downtown Duck restaurants and shops. Beach access is very close. Owner and property management are very responsive to questions/concerns. Loved this place!

We really enjoyed our time at Alan’s! We used to live in the area and love being in the woods, but close to the beach. The house was clean and nicely decorated. Alan was very easy to reach when we had a question. We love how the pool was easily accessible for adults, but not for our toddler. The master bed and suite were very comfortable. Great place!

Our stay at Nicholas’s house was amazing! It allowed our family to make many more memories together. Everyone had a fabulous time without a moment to spare. The pool, hot tub, and tiki bar were enjoyed by everyone. The house is huge with so many wonderful features. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a home with a perfect location to the beach and plenty of room both inside and outside. It also has a huge landscaped yard to enjoy games and several seating areas outside. The perfect home. Hope to be back in the future !!

This place was perfect! The space was spotless, stylish, and exactly as pictured—maybe even better. Check-in was seamless, and the host went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome, even leaving a few thoughtful extras that made a big difference. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with great restaurants and shops nearby. The bed was super comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing, hassle-free stay. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area!

House is very spacious. The house comes fully stocked and is very clean. The pool is heated so that was a hit with the kids, the hot tub was a perfect cherry on top for the adults! The host were very responsive and accommodating. Definitely recommend and will be back if the house is available for a future trip.

We really enjoyed our stay here as a family with small children. There were only a couple other people at the condominium so the pool was always available and parking was easy. I liked how you get to park underneath the condos so your car stays shaded. The lock code to the stairwell and elevator made us feel secure. There were plenty of nice beach items to use in the storage including wagon, umbrella, and chairs. Each room had plenty of beach towels and bath towels. The walk to the beach was minimal. The only cons were loud vehicles since you are close to the road and one ceiling fan not working in a bedroom but that didn’t bother us! Overall it is a great place and exceeded our expectations!

I booked this location for our 2 year anniversary and it was an incredible stay. The view was perfect and the house was everything we needed for a few days stay. Gene was incredibly kind and even allowed us to check in early which worked out perfectly for us. The listing was just as described and honestly much more head space in the main room than we originally thought. The internet was great which was incredibly useful for our remote work. Couldn't recommend a better stay in the OBX for the price and location.

We had a great stay! The location was perfect—just a short, easy walk to the beach, grocery stores, and great restaurants. One thing we especially loved was that the place had cable TV with all the local channels. It was such a pleasant surprise since so many rentals have switched to streaming only. Perfect for a quick getaway. We really appreciated everything and would definitely stay again!

Rebecca is a great host. We felt right at home and the place is lovely. The entire condo was shining clean. It was a nice touch to have shampoos etc and towels ready. The walk in shower was a delight. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to cook. Yes overall the kitchen served our needs. We found the beds to be the best ever and we stay on ObX annually for 40 years!! Definitely great sleep. Thanks for a great week.

This is our 3rd time staying here! Has a beautiful view, great access to the beach and a nice pool, which is so great to break up the day. We traveled with two adults and two children perfect amount of space. Little dated inside but has everything you need. We come for the location, because it’s so good! As other reviews have said there is a rental above you. We had one night of very late night noise but other than that it was a wonderful stay, we will be coming back!

The location was away from the hustle and bustle of the OBX. It was very quiet. Met a neighbor who was very friendly. The location is just a little walk from 2 good restaurants. The condo was very nice inside and very accommodating.

Robert was a great host. Would highly recommend. Great location central to everything the Outer Banks has to offer.
