Loft holiday rentals in Southern Maine Coast

We had a lovely week-long stay with our toddler and infant! The place was very quiet, clean, and comfortable (one of us slept on the couch). Such a beautiful area and very welcoming hosts. Extensive grounds to explore and easy river access.

Mary and Margaret are great hosts. This is our third stay there and we feel right at home. The place is always super clean. The bathroom has a tub and huge walk in shower. The layout is spacious. The view is beautiful and there are great places to go for a walk. I hope to return in the future for a longer stay. Thanks to both ladies and to Bruce plus Scout and Pippa.

If you want a wonderful, quaint space to be your home away from home, this place is it! The atmosphere in the fall is amazing with all the leaves changing and the cool air. Jayne offers wonderful amenities, and it made me happy to hear the horses in the morning. I would definitely recommend Jayne to anyone wanting to stay in the Essex/Boston area. I will certainly be back again!

Had a great time staying at Linda’s! It was a very short drive to Boothbay Harbor and practically next to the wedding venue (Boothbay Playhouse). All the little things (keurig coffee, local bakery items) really made our stay pleasant and Linda was super responsive to texts and requests!

Donna’s place was an incredible stay for a fall weekend. We really enjoyed being able to use the kitchen, kayaks, and fire pit outside by the beautiful foliage.

I was happy to return to stay at Deb's, this time around in the studio loft. It was very spacious and comfortable and included anything that you might want or need. It was a perfect spot for me to rest while watching ski races at Black Mountain for the weekend. Thanks for being a wonderful host once again, Deb!

Our stay at Carole's was wonderful!! Peaceful and relaxing! We were a bit sad that the farm store that is mentioned in the listing has been permanently closed, as we were excited to shop there. The animals were super friendly and so was the host! We are hoping to come back to another relaxing retreat with friends.

Richard was a great host and both he and his wife treated us like part of the family . A wonderful setting great for beach walks and quiet times . Richard knows the history of the area and offers recommendations to make your stay very enjoyable. The accommodations are just as shown and clean and comfortable . Would highly recommend.

We loved the Loft. It is very spacious, modern, and clean. All appliances are updated stainless steel. It is 2 floors with the living-room on the ground floor at entering and the kitchen, dining, and bedrooms upstairs. There is plenty of storage and even a washer/dryer. The location is close (within 5 min drive) to beautiful beaches. Parking at the beach was our only concern. Karen communicates clearly and provides exact instructions. It is very easy and enjoyable to stay at the Loft. We would love to return.

Our stay in Salem was phenomenal, in part because of this awesome place! Surpassed our expectations. Attention to detail and great decor - both Halloween and overall space with recent updates. The setup and amenities are perfect. Love the lighting, Sonos system and pocket doors! Ample room. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back soon!

The perfect Maine cottage in the perfect Maine location! A charming, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped home with a beautiful view of the water, in a location that was close to everything in the Boothbay area yet felt private and peaceful. We've stayed in many great airbnb rentals over the years, and this was one of the best! Seamless and friendly communication from Sea Maine, including a welcome gift and text updates, was the icing on the cake. We would love to return to this cottage again, and based on this experience would trust any of Sea Maine's rentals to be equally wonderful and well-managed!

I felt so lucky to be able to book my stay at this incredible place. It felt like a home away from home, with every detail. (There was a cute little message welcoming us! As waters and some snacks, and the check in was so easy!) The loft is absolutely breathtaking beautiful (exactly or better than the photos), clean, so complete. Even if it was cold outside, it felt so cozy and warm. The bed so comfy! The bathroom kept the temperature warm after a hot shower. The kitchen has everything you could need (and we cooked). The lighting was perfect—plenty of natural light. The ceiling windows let us look at the stars at night in the sky. The location was so perfect to escape from the city noise (exactly what we were looking for), and at the same time you can find anything you need just minutes away! Astrid recommended us different places according to what we were looking for and we went to all of them! We also got some local honey they sell, and plus the hosts were so nice! We’ll be back!

Tara is a fantastic host. Her condo is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I give Tara and her Condo my highest recommendations. I will stay there again.

I enjoyed staying here and being able to walk to everything in town. They were very helpful if I needed anything and very quick to respond. Pillows were very comfy. Everything was there for sleeping, cooking and bathing. Laundry outside the doorway was convenient. Open, bright and plenty of space. I would stay here again. Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at Darryl’s apartment in Portsmouth. It’s spacious, has all the amenities, clean, and comfortable. Not to mention it’s walkable to so much downtown Portsmouth has to offer. Darryl is a great host, friendly, helpful, and goes above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay. This was my mom’s first Airbnb stay and she LOVED it. The only downside is the bar next door, with its loud music and bar-goers til midnight. However, there is a white noise machine provided (be sure to pack a cube with a USB-A plug) and seeing the other reviews beforehand, I packed one as well. The space is comfortable and we all slept well. Such a great weekend and stay!
