Holiday rentals with beach access in Southern Maine Coast

Shannon’s place was exactly as described! It was perfect for my husband, me and our 1 year old for the weekend! It certainly lets you experience living in an old historic farmhouse! That being said, bring your extension cords if you would like to charge anything near your bed at night! It’s an old house so there are very few outlets available. We were visiting from Florida so we were a little cold at times but the heat worked perfectly for a cool May weekend. I can see where it might be chilly to stay in the middle of winter. When it came to check out, I couldn’t find any instructions. I felt like I should have been taking out the trash and whatnot but I was unsure with the wildlife if it was better to leave inside? So that part was a bit unclear. Other than that, our stay was perfect! Thank you so much again Shannon, we would love to stay again in the future

C’est un logement extrêmement bien situé: près de la plage et de la rue principale. La grande galerie couverte bien aménagée est un gros plus, car on peut profiter de l’extérieur beau temps, mauvais temps et de plus, on y entend les vagues. Logement ultra propre et bien équipé. Aussi, notre hôte, Jean est bien sympathique 😁

The place was easy to find and Holly provided clear instructions to get in. Holly’s place had a lot of thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, extra charging cables and band-aids. There were helpful little notes that explained how everything worked (A/C, TV, space heater). Holly provided us with an assortment of small snacks, coffee, tea as well as half and half. Everything was clean and in great condition. Holly was quick to get back to me about the parking passes for the beach - which it turned out, we didn’t need. Both the bed and couch were comfortable to sleep on. The only downside was that it was really bright in the mornings which made sleeping-in a bit harder, but if you wear a sleep mask or are an early riser there is really nothing to complain about.

Only positive comments, everything was perfect. Location was superb as well as living accommodations.

I had a wonderful stay at Susan’s apartment - I’d highly recommend it! The space was clean and welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet with plenty of walkable spots to explore. Susan was a top-notch host - friendly, communicative, gave wonderful recommendations, and just an all around lovely person.

Great clean place in Kennebunkport. Friendly, helpful and responsive host. Beautiful views of marshes with outdoor activities to enjoy! Will definitely stay here again!

I had an amazing stay! Rachael was a very responsive host, and was very helpful throughout my stay. The location was quiet but within driving distance of all the things I wanted to do, and it matched all my expectations based on the listing. If I’m ever back in the area, I would certainly love to stay here again!

Very nice place, reasonable price and very close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Amanda was great to communicate with. We were able to check in early. We did have an issue with the keypad once, reached out to Amanda and it was resolved quickly. Amanda was great with communication before we even checked in. I was a little concerns because I’ve never used an Airbnb before. Wasn’t sure how it worked as far as extra towels and necessities and Amanda was great, she told me that there would be enough and if not, she would Provide more. We would definitely like to stay there again. I think the only thing that I would suggestion is curtains on the windows. There are blinds on the windows but being that close to the main strip it’s very bright and it always looks like it is daytime in the apartment when it is nighttime. But other than that, we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to book again.

We loved this home, it’s in a great location but off the beaten path. Private and peaceful with a wonderful fire pit that we enjoyed almost nightly. We traveled with my son and his fiancé so the two suites one up and one down gave us perfect personal space. There was so much to do nearby with great restaurants and shops. Emily gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant called “Earth at Hidden Pond” which was amazing for our anniversary celebration. We could not have asked for anything more, absolutely amazing!

We spent the weekend here catching up with friends and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The house was cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived, with beautiful views all around. We’re so thankful we got to stay and make the most of it. There’s so much to do nearby, and it’s just a quick drive to Portsmouth, NH, which has so many great places to explore. Rachel also shared some fantastic recommendations that made our trip even better.

We had a great stay at Julie’s beautiful home. Her home was even nicer than the pictures. Great kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Open layout so we can all converse no matter what we were doing. Beds were comfortable. But the outside stole the show. The upper deck was spacious and had great views. The hot tub was just what we needed. Then you walk down to the dock and there is enough space for everyone to lay out. Lots of kayaks and paddle boat. Had fun exploring and fishing the lake. Perfect home for families to come together and catch up!! Oh, and the lower level was perfect with ping pong, foosball and tv for late night fun!! Would recommend to anyone wanting to be in the lake region of NH.

Place was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the fire pit and the great living space. Bedrooms were comfortable. Great place for families.

Book this place immediately if you’re looking for a relaxing family stay, situated minutes from gorgeous beaches with swimming lakes and want to spend evenings bbqing and looking at the incredible view. Beautifully clean, well stocked kitchen, spacious, perfect set up and the hot tub is a fab touch. Easy check in and super communicative hosts. Thank you Jen!

Absolutely unique! Such an incredible view off the back deck. Alot of effort has gone into creating the atmosphere of this cottage. Learning of the Mountains history and how it has been able to be maintained was fun.

We loved staying at the Brown House at Emery Farm. Everything was amazing and I will definitely be back! We loved the decor, the beds were comfortable and so much space to spread out and enjoy our time there. We sat in the front yard in the sun, it was so peaceful. We went to dinner in Portsmouth one night and then grilled a delicious dinner and stayed in the second night. We loved walking down for coffee in the morning and also walked over to the waterfront in the afternoon. Highly recommended this home for anyone staying on the area😁

Lovely place,just as described. River running out back,very peaceful and picturesque. Basia and Bradley communicated very well . They checked in at various times to make sure we had what we needed. Comfortable beds and very clean invironment. Thank you again for having us.

We loved our stay! Christina’s condo was comfortable, peaceful and perfectly located. We were walkable to the entire downtown area, museums, the concert venue, walking paths, shopping and restaurants. But the best thing was sitting outside on our private deck overlooking the harbor, with Motif #1 just across the inlet. We almost didn’t want to leave the condo…so gorgeous! And Christina is lovely, making sure we were okay, had everything we needed, so responsive. After the condo coffeemaker stopped working, she kindly offered a gift card to a nearby coffee shop, and before night fell, a new coffeemaker was delivered to the condo! Such a thoughtful host… we will be back!

This was a teeny tiny condo (<200 sq ft!) but spotlessly clean, well appropriated, and a great location. The bed was comfy and the loft area was tall enough to sit up and move around. It was a 5 minute walk to Pine Point Beach. There are about dozen other tiny cottages in the condo association, clustered around a central parking lot, so if all of them were full there wouldn’t be a ton of privacy but we were there in the off season and it was peaceful and quiet.

Diane’s condo was a wonderful choice! Her place is clean and spacious and she left very clear helpful instructions for an easy stay. It comes with everything you need and anything you’d want to do in walking distance, highly recommend this spot!

We only had two nights at Dave’s place but wish we could’ve stayed longer. The decor was great and matched the Maine vibe while it also had all the modern amenities an Airbnb needs. Only ten minutes into the centre of Portland and very close to the beach as well. We didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed to be fully stocked. The washer and dryer were also very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!
