Wir hatten 2 wunderschöne Wochen in historischem Ambiente und wunderschöner Umgebung. Der Empfang durch Catherine war superfreundlich und ihre vielen Tipps sehr hilfreich. Die Möglichkeiten für Erkundungen und Unternehmungen sind zahlreich (Höhlenbesuch, Lyon, Besichtigung von mitterlalterlichen Dörfern in der Umgebung, Baden im Ain, Paddelausflüge) Vielen Dank an Catherine und Familie!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce magnifique manoir, spacieux, lumineux et chaleureux. Son ambiance cosy le rend parfait pour accueillir du monde ou pour un séjour en famille. Malgré une vue sur des usines en face, avec de la fumée en continu et un peu de bruit, nous avons été pleinement satisfaits du standing proposé. La décoration intérieure est un savant mélange de charme ancien et de modernité, ce qui apporte beaucoup de caractère au lieu. Nous recommandons vivement ce manoir. Il serait certainement encore plus agréable en été, notamment pour profiter de la piscine. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience !

This is a special place. It has the perfect balance between a medieval castle and a liveable modern house. The internal spaces are fine and the external spaces are really a pleasure. The little town is beautiful and quiet, and there are so many things to do in l’Empordà. Adrià is a fantastic host - always responsive and helpful. 100% recommended

Il s'agit d'un logement atypique situé dans un château multiséculaire chargé d'histoire. Très fonctionnel et parfaitement localisé au-dessus d'Uriage, à proximité de Grenoble et de Chamrousse, cet appartement est propice à de multiples découvertes et à de superbes randos dans le massif de Belledonne. J'ai pu échanger facilement au téléphone avec Irène qui est disponible et de bon conseil. Je recommande.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dem idyllisch gelegenen Apartment von Christiane und Bernard. Alles war wie beschrieben, der großzügige Platz und die einmalige Aussicht haben unsere Vorstellungen sogar noch übertroffen. Die Gastgeber sind ganz besonders freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben auf unsere Fragen innerhalb kürzester Zeit reagiert. Der Ort ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die an Attraktionen und Sehenswürdigkeiten reiche Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir bedauern nur, dass wir kein Französisch sprechen, wir hätten uns gerne länger mit den charmanten Gastgebern unterhalten 😉.

This place is a true labour of love and testament to Eric&Remy's skill and expertise. An impressive castle, with carefully selected furniture that matches the rooms and a garden that one couldn't get enough of - absolutely beautiful, and with interesting bits to explore everywhere. If you love antiques, gardening, history, this is the place for you. Eric&Remy couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. Thank you for a beautiful stay!!

Hands down THE BEST Airbnb stay for my family and I. We meticulously chose this chateau to celebrate a family reunion, and planned it 2 years in advance. The minute I contacted Vince to inquire about the place + its surroundings I knew this was going to be a spectacular place to be—and it was nothing short of that. From the fairytale castle, to its royal decor, furniture, amenities and gardens to Vincent’s special tour of the place when we arrived, matched with a delightful welcome gift, my family was astounded and happy every day. The quaint storybook towns just as described within a half hour drive, Bordeaux within the hour, to winery chateaus and Paris available by train and car, we literally drove through a postcard and enjoyed the beautiful scenery at the castle for 2 magical weeks. This place was everything we wanted and needed to lift our spirits and create the most wonderful memories! Thank you, Vincent for being the most incredible host with the most incredible place!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Sophie. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les chambres toutes dotées de salle de bain, les extérieurs, la piscine et le spa. L’environnement était extrêmement calme.

Les hôtes ont été parfaits à tout point de vue. L’appartement aussi est parfait et il est doté de absolument tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin pour un séjour extrêmement plaisant et l’attention portée aux détails est extraordinaire. Il est moderne confortable et on s’y sent à l’aise comme chez soi. C’est le point de départ idéal pour visiter toute la région . Si je devais attribuer une note sur 10, ce serait 12/10. Château Le Grave is a beautiful property and was a wonderful choice for our group holiday. We had a lovely stay and found the house very comfortable. The photos don’t quite do it justice—it’s even more charming in person. The kitchen is well-equipped, which made cooking for our group easy and enjoyable. There were a few small issues that affected the overall experience. There wasn’t quite enough toilet paper provided for the weekend, the pool area didn’t have lighting at night, and we encountered an electrical issue that we needed to resolve ourselves. I noticed similar mentions in past reviews, so it may be worth addressing these for future guests. Communication with the host could have been more positive. There was some confusion regarding the cleaning fee, which had already been included in the booking total, and we were asked to pay extra for a few broken glasses, which seemed inexpensive to replace. That said, the property itself is truly lovely and we had a great time.

Wij hadden een heel fijn verblijf. Uitmuntende omgeving, maar wel iets verder rijden van dorpjes/plaatselijke bakker. Gelukkig hadden Jitske en Matthew een uitgebreide lijst aan restaurants en bakkers zodat uitstekende adresjes snel te vinden waren. Het huisje beschikt over uiterst moderne infrastructuur en zelfs een elektrische bbq. Het is er heerlijk vertoeven.

A wonderful stay. Maud was the local contact and extremely helpful and friendly to deal with. We loved the home and it was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The location is in a quaint small village. Perfect for a calm, quiet break. It’s a bit away from anything though so if you need groceries or want to go somewhere it’s at least 25minutes to do that. Overall still a wonderful visit

First and foremost Lucie and her parents Annick and Pierre are greats hosts and super lovely. They were helpful and so welcoming. Perfect communication and always there when we need them. The chateau was a dream- peaceful and beautiful not to mention super clean! Our stay there was amazing and it’s perfect for family’s. Won’t hesitate to return! Thank you Lucie for making our trip memorable

C‘est un endroit formidable dans la nature et le calme, les seuls bruits sont les voitures à l‘autre côté du Tarn. Nous - un couple - avons passé 6 nuits au château dans un studio. Aussi, pendant 2 nuits une amie était avec nous. Le studio est bien équipé avec tout ce dont on a besoin et avec des details agréables comme des poches à côté du grand lit (tablette, téléphone etc.). Alexandra et Liza sont très sympa. Ils vivent en haut avec leurs 2 enfants, leur entrée se trouve à l‘autre côté du bâtiment, par conséquent nous étions tout à fait à nous. Néanmoins ils étaient toujours joignables pour répondre à nos questions ou de remplir les flacon de vinaigre et d‘huile. Activités: Nager, faire du kayak à 50 m, des nombreux itinéraires pour la randonnée. Visiter Albi et Toulouse. Points subordonnées: - Le studi était humide. Les propriétaires ont déjà pris des mésures. - Au début il y a beaucoup de mouches dans la région, la faute de personne. Un grand merci à vous deux!!

We had a very pleasant stay in the chateau! The place is very beautifully renovated and decorated. Its extremely spacious and all rooms were very clean. The garden is also great for kids to play. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back!

Le logement est très cosy on se sent très bien, la terrasse entre les chambres et la cuisine est ombragée entouré de bambou parfaite pour les repas et se détendre. Jean marc c'est vous accueillir et vous mettre tout de suite à l'aise. Une personne très humaine et discrete qui met tout a disposition pour que l'on passe un sejour au top. La piscine fait 10m bien entretenu parfaite pour nager et des transats pour se détendre. Beaucoup de balade et de beaux villages à moins de 30min.

Absolutely beautiful place! The house and pool are gorgeous and so well-equipped. It's in a quiet location but there is a lovely small town 10 mins away. We would stay again!

It was a real pleasure to stay in the lavender gite in the grounds of the chateau Michael's renovating. What made our stay special was the warm and friendly hospitality from Michael and his friend Gabi, and the beautiful gardens he's created around the gites, the chateau and the swimming pool. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool in our stay, but it looked very inviting in better weather!

Extraordinaire. J'ai fêté mes 40 ans dans ce château, nous étions 12 adultes et 12 enfants. Disposition des pièces impeccable, linge de maison propre et en place, environnement extérieur sécurisé et très agréable. N'hésitez pas.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour en famille. Nous avons profité de la piscine et de la cour intérieure très agréable! La conciergerie du Barbu qui gère l arrivée et le lien sur place était très disponible. Le lieu est vraiment magnifique et nous avons profité des voies de vélos à proximité!

Hemos estado muy a gusto en el castillo. Está todo super bien cuidado y Cristina y Gabriel son encantadores. Repetiremos seguro!

A beautiful two bedroom apartment in a historical Villa surrounded by a French style garden which we absolutely loved! We were welcomed by Damien and felt right at home in the flat. We loved big windows, lots of light, and attention to detail that Damien demonstrated by decorating a Christmas tree for us and preparing a welcome gift - some candies. The bathroom in the main bedroom is spacious and beautifully designed. We especially loved the combination of traditional elements and modernity, such as electric stove that looked like a traditional 19th century one. A fireplace is another great feature. It makes you feel like being in a French chateau. All in all, a great stay in a great place with kind and welcoming host. We can highly recommend the flat and Damien!

We had a fantastic time at Suzanna’s place. It’s an absolutely beautiful setting with nice views out of the chateau and lovely swimming pool. We stayed for a week with our kids and their grandparents and all had a great time. Suzanna herself was extremely responsive and accommodating. We actually had an issue with another booking for which I was awaiting a refund before booking last minute. Suzanna was extremely helpful and accommodated us last minute and we absolutely lucked out with it being such a nice place.
