Cottage holiday rentals in South Historic District, Savannah

This is a super cute and cozy little cottage in a newer RV resort. Everything was really clean and felt brand new. It’s in a great spot—about 20–25 minutes from downtown Savannah, but nice and quiet, so it’s perfect for relaxing and getting good sleep. The WiFi was great too, no issues with streaming or browsing. We’ll definitely look to stay here again next time we’re in Savannah. Highly recommend!

This was our first RV resort stay, so I wasn't really expecting such a beautiful place. It truly is a "resort". We were visiting our grand-twins for their first birthday. They live in Springfield above Savannah, and the location was only 24 easy miles. The two bedrooms tiny house was comfortable for four adults and our pup. We had everything we need. What I was surprised most about was how quiet it was, and there were a lot of people camping. The amenities were top-notch. We even had food trucks Friday and Saturday night. How awesome is that? The ladies who work there were super friendly and helpful. We have stayed at several different places while visiting our family in Savannah, but this is going to be our go-to place. We loved it.

We had a great experience. It worked well for our two families and it had a private space in the back. The host was very responsive and responded immediately.

Loved staying at Missy’s place on Tybee Island. Especially loved the enclosed porch with TV and 2 swinging couches. Missy provided everything we could possibly need in her cozy adorably decorated place. The hot tub was great! She even provided a golf cart so we were able to explore most of the beautiful Tybee island without paying parking fees. Missy gave us recommendations for restaurants. The Crab Shack was a fun place to eat with great food and some alligators and birds to see. Definitely recommend Missy’s Salty Mermaid Couples retreat and hope to visit again one day. Missy truly is the hostess with the mostest.

We loved our week long stay. The kitchen is fully stocked. The leave was clean and with great instruction the pool and spa were easy to use and a fabulous addition to our beach days. Internet was little spotty. Wished we could have recycled. Grill is small but perfect for the 2 of us. Absolutely amazing and responsive host. This was a splurge for us and we’re glad we did it!

We had a second fantastic stay! The amenities, location and hot tub make it well worth the cost. Having two bikes and a golf cart included is a huge bonus—perfect for exploring the area with ease and enjoying the surroundings without needing to drive everywhere or pay for bike or cart rentals, or parking. The property is clean, comfortable, beautiful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.

Missy was indeed, the hostess with the absolute MOSTESS! She was on top of every little detail or issue (which we didn’t have any, but needed some detergent for the dishwasher and her son was right on top of it!). She has truly created a magical oasis full of such biodiversity in a small space; it’s like being transported to another time and place of peace and harmony. We made multiple skink friends by the pool, a raccoon named ‘Mac’ and wonderful neighbors (of the human variety), too! The location is perfection in a bottle; everything is walkable, bike-able or golf cart accessible. If you want to hit the beach, take the bike right down 6th to the dock and Viola! The pool and hot tub were our favorite spots to kick back and relax, then it was off to a few of our favorite foodie gems: The Seawolf (amazing cocktails and vegan noms) and The Crab Shack (prawns were AMAZING, rescued parrot fun and gator watching galore). We miss The Salty Mermaid already! Thank you, Missy! 🌊🧜‍♀

This place was lovely! I loved that it was between Tybee Island and downtown Savannah so it was easy to go between the two. Very well appointed with little extras for guests- like a coffee bar, bathroom amenities and plenty of local activity brochures for us to plan the best trip. Our host was proactive in making sure everything was going well. It’s roomy but cozy and I just adored the whole experience! Thank you so much!

Jenny’s cottage was simply adorable! I traveled from California to visit my daughter and her new husband. We were exploring Savannah and the Tybee area. The cottage was centrally located to both. Only about 20 minutes to historic Savannah. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a lovely family room and a vintage chic kitchen. The bedrooms were very nice and the beds were very comfortable with a king bed in the master and a comfy trundle in the second bedroom. Jenny was so responsive and easy to contact. We had a few requests and she responded so quickly and generously. She had wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The grounds were lovely with a sitting area and fire pit. We enjoyed a walk through the neighboring areas. It was very peaceful and quiet. We would definitely stay at Jenny’s cottage again and highly recommend her property to anyone visiting the area. Thank you Jenny for hosting us! We’re so glad we found you!

BOOK. THIS. AIRBNB. My group agreed that this was undeniably one of the greatest Airbnbs we have stayed in yet. Amazing location right between Tybee Island and downtown Savannah. It has all the amenities you could ask for, along with a beautiful back porch. We could sense the care that went into the supplies provided and the notes left all around the home. Book it!!!!

We had a great time here! The cottage was clean and had lots of character. Being able to take our dog and the fenced backyard was a big plus. It was close to and convenient for visiting Savannah and under a half hour from Tybee!

We had a fabulous time. It was perfect for our daughter’s college graduation. Very clean, cozy and quaint. We love the set up and the colors. I would recommend.

Cute little house for a stay on Daufuskie island . Although it’s small, it has everything you need and is cozy. Although there’s no real scenery around the house, it’s easy to go to other places around the island. House was clean and Tennille was a great host. I would stay there again.

We have a fantastic time at Matthew’s cottage. Everything was exactly as described and check-in was super easy. We all loved the outside showers. The house is very close to the beach and I took my morning walk on the beach every morning. The beds are comfortable and I slept well. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here as we loved our vacation. Highly recommend!

A fantastic 2 bedroom apartment just a 10 minute walk away from Forsyth Park and the historic district. The accommodations were great and the apartment was perfect for our 2 night stay in Savannah. Would stay here again when visiting Savannah.

Our cottage was perfection! Beautiful, clean, very well stocked, wonderful location complete with pelican and dolphin sitings, friendly neighbors, very serene & that intoxicating porch swing!!!! The owner was so kind and we even met him in person when he delivered a golf cart to us ( to replace one)…we appreciated that personal touch! Five stars all around… my friends and I now know why this peaceful island can “get in your blood,” making you want to go back..and, this cottage is the perfect place to go back to!!!! Thank you for the stay!

Great place with all the thoughtful amenities! Communication was great. We appreciated the recommendations and descriptions of different restaurants and activities on the Island. Short walk to the beach with a wagon, chairs, beach towels, etc provided. Thanks for letting us celebrate our anniversary there!

We stayed at the white noise house for three nights and enjoyed all of them. It was very cozy and quiet and felt very secure. It also had everything you could think of needing from washer and dryers to pots and pans, and everything you end up needing but didn't think about. It is also within a good walking distance of some of the more busy downtown areas. It was a very pleasant stay that set off a great start to our honeymoon. We highly recommend staying here if you can. She was a very friendly host that left instructions and special amenities for everything!

We had a great stay at Blueberry Cottage. Jan was a wonderful hostess! Tybee Island was hot and humid in June and had wicked rain storms every night. Wished I had brought a raincoat! Just general advice, not a fault of the cottage. Thanks, Jan, for your hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grateful Cottage. The decor was exactly as described and it’s obvious that Jennifer takes great “pride” in her decorating style. The cottage was quaint, clean, and the location was very convenient. Jennifer was easily accessible and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this little cottage. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. Had a wok amongst other items in a kitchen which had a number of spices and things available. We will definitely work with Joey again.

Rarely do I write reviews, but blue star exceeded our expectations and then some. Great location, away from the more crowded beaches and just an overall great beach house. Perfect for a family of four. We will definitely return to this property.
