A beautiful cottage that felt like home from home. Had all the amenities, even for the kids with Highchair, cot, cutlery etc. Beautiful gardens, can tell its all well maintained. We took a short walk to the local pub and park too which were spot on. Would definitely stay here again. thank you!

We were staying for a nearby festival and could not have wanted for anything more in a place to stay. A lovely breakfast was provided including home-made bread for toast, fruit and all the things to make it a home from home. The rooms were private, immaculately clean and the bed very comfy after a hard day on our feet. Check-in and check-out were simple and painless, even though we arrived late in the evening. All in all excellent, we will definitely be coming back to stay again!

What a great place to stay much much better the pictures. The bathroom was unreal. Would definitely recommend staying here. Supper clean. Has everything you need.

Immaculately clean, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Tom, our host, was fantastic throughout making communication easy. The Annex is beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you might need including breakfast - the king-size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also extremely well equipped with lovely smelling toiletries, even toothpaste, with thick luxurious towels and a large shower. Set in a great, quiet location the annex is within a short stroll to the local pub which has a friendly atmosphere, great food/drink and a large garden. We would not hesitate in recommending and would certainly use again. Thank you for a lovely weekend stay.

What a beautiful place to stay! The cottage is stunning, and so comfortable. But the garden is the real diamond. So quiet and private, with an awesome hot tub! We had the most amazing stay - very highly recommended!

Lovely place to stay for nearly 2 weeks while we were in the UK visiting family. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully decorated. Exactly as shown in the photos. We loved how peacefully quiet it was and how Lynne went out of her way to help us and provide everything we needed for a wonderful home away from home. Fantastic place to stay. Was immaculately clean with lots of nice touches to make you feel at home. Especially loved the fact that there was oat milk sachets available - the sort of extra thought most hosts wouldn’t include.

Helen was an amazing host and really attentive when welcoming us. She was available if we needed anything but she also gave us privacy during our stay. Her guest house is gorgeous. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Me and my other half had a lovely stay at Anna’s annex, the place was beautifully furnished. Very clean, and Anna was so responsive. We stayed for a concert at the O2 academy, which was 10 minutes away in an uber. Definitely worth the money, and would happily stay again!

This was not a holiday break for me. Sadly , a funeral. So i appreciated the peace and quiet area. I found the main gates difficult to shut quietly....i did my best. I liked being able to do my own food , drinks etc as not wanting to go into restaurants. Bed comfortable . TV great.

an hour away from Download fest, donnington park. it was fairly easy to find in the dark as we checked in quite late after the festival which wasn't an issue as it's seperated from the main house. we had a very good sleep. I can recommend this place as Gwenda a very thoughtful and kind host. always communicating and kept us updated. we will definitely stay here again. thank you!!! *****

Wow what a beautiful place. This property has everything you could possibly need and is just perfect for relaxing, taking in nature and appreciating some down time. I love the fact the hosts are eco conscious and this shows in their choice of products. The garden was so peaceful and lots of fun for my two boys and adventurous puppy. There’s no TV but this property has so much to keep you entertained, board games, an amazing array of books even bubbles for the children. We used the sauna which was lovely and so spacious, and Taz even left ice water for us. The bed was super comfy. If I had to give any negatives it would be the lack of cushions on the outdoor furniture and I didn’t see a hammock, although I’m sure if I had asked Taz for cushions she would of provided these no problem but we just used the bench table down by the canal. We will definitely be returning!

Great place, clean everything we needed. Jane was lovely gave us lots of suggestions and stuff to do in the area.

Pat and Den are absolutely lovely hosts. They were very welcoming and helpful with directions. The property was perfect for our stay, with everything we needed. I would 100% reccomend to anyone looking for a compact place to stay.

I had an absolutely great stay at Daniel's place. I have stayed in quite a few budget Airbnbs in the area and this was incredible value for what you get- super well equipped with a full kitchen etc was awesome. Communication was perfect and Daniel was super proactive and keen to help out with anything. As a solo female, safety is really important to me, and I felt secure and comfortable here. Highly recommend :)

I have stayed with the Glyn & Lynn for a year now (minus July) and it’s been a real home away from home after mine had been flooded. It’s been marvellous and in a way I shall be really sad to be leaving the Croft family. Everything you could possibly want is here. You will certainly have a wonderful welcome and a very comfortable stay.

Me and my mum had a wonderful stay here. The village is beautiful, and well equipped with pubs! We had a delicious dinner at the Farmyard Inn which was a 10/15 minute walk from the house, there is a pub less than 5 minutes walk away however. It is only a 10 minute drive into Bakewell down some very scenic country lanes. The room itself was super cosy, we had everything we needed, including a smart TV so we could binge watch Charmed in the evening. We were welcomed in person, Phil and Diane are both super friendly and helpful, Ben their dog, is absolutely gorgeous and loved a fuss. There was homemade sourdough bread on the side when we checked in, along with freshly picked strawberries from their garden, drinks, butter, the list goes on, we felt very cared for and appreciated it greatly. We didn't use the sauna but it looked brilliant. Overall we would definitely stay here again, it was so peaceful.

The room was spacious and lovely and the bathroom looked modern and squeaky clean. Peak District is a fair distance by car, and a cafe, restaurant and pub are right outside the accommodation. A very cosy stay, didn’t want to leave.

Beautiful annex, extremely clean and spacious. Beautiful surroundings and absolutely perfect for children and dogs. Kevin and Denise were very friendly and our dogs loved playing with their dogs in the garden. About 15 minutes drive from Alton towers. Would love to stay again some time.
