Lovely place to stay,but very deciving with pictures of a small stone staircase and not the huge metal one which was wet and newly painted which made it very slippy. I would've of booked if I'd seen the size and difficulty of the stairs. on the day we arrived we were greeted by David the host and we had several large bags, would of been nice to be offerd some assistance. I have mobility issues and I slipped on the wet metal stairs resulting in grazed knees and wrists. If you are elderly or have mobility issues them this isn't for you. we accused the room via the bathroom, which became problematic with access. The rooms are fitted to a high standard with every thing that you need. Nice touch of the fresh fruit, bread and homemade preserves, which are changed daily.Ample hot drinks availible too

Sharon is very kind and friendly person . She allowed us to check out at any time as there was no guests next day . The areas is perfect for nice walks . Totley and Dore 20/30 minutes walks to village centres great pubs and restaurants. Really enjoyed the stay.

Lizzie’s place was perfect for our family of four. It was quiet and peaceful, very clean and had all the amenities we needed, including to cook some meals. It is well located to explore the Peak District and nearby towns. There are also some nice walks from the property and lots of great places to eat nearby (e.g. Elephant & Peackock and Spotted Cow). Thank you to Lizzie for being a great host!

Lindsay was a fabulous host- so welcoming and accommodating, even went out and got us our choice of bread and milk and offered to drive us to the station! Would definitely stay here again if in Sheffield.

Recently spent the night for our 1st wedding anniversary. Had a wonderful stay. Very private, big hot tub. We paid for the extra romance package and were very happy with all the little extras to make our stay romantic. Very responsive to our needs. Loved the cows coming to say hello in the evening. Will definitely be back.

Caroline was a great host and very helpful. She went to the road and waved to us when we got stuck on the location and phoned from the petrol station. She provided us with yummy Bakewell tarts and was very friendly.

Lovely, peaceful location with walks in the Derbyshire Dales on the doorstep. Great English and Continental breakfast that set us up for the day. Useful recommendations from Hil for local places to eat. Would stay again and recommend.

Fantastic place to stay. Was immaculately clean with lots of nice touches to make you feel at home. Especially loved the fact that there was oat milk sachets available - the sort of extra thought most hosts wouldn’t include.

Great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Helen was very responsive and helpful throughout. Perfect location for our visit to see family and locations. Walkable to nice restaurants and shops. Tollgate brewery is close by and highly recommend the beer and pizza! Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful spot, stunning views and amazing accommodation. Kayleighs communication was great and instructions were perfect. Couldn't have asked for more!

We stayed for two nights and the annexe at Cliffe Cottage was perfect for a short stay. It is beautifully decorated, has lots of storage, a powerful shower and comfy bed. Andree generously left us sachets of milk, lots of tea and coffee, a couple of bottles of water and some chocolate bars - not everyone does this and it’s very welcome when arriving. The mini fridge is a good size, we used it for beers and cheese! Andree wasn’t there during our stay but sent perfect instructions and kindly kept in contact. Hathersage is a picturesque village and great spot to start many walks, and there’s a lot of choice for food and drink very close by, many are open on Sunday evening too. Definitely recommended and very good value!

Had a lovely weekend away at this place, was the perfect location for me and my partner attending a wedding. A private area with a comfy bed, cozy space, and a little induction hob for our eggs on a hungover morning. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet weekend away with the comforts of home.

We stayed at this charming cottage during Easter and had a wonderful experience. The host was exceptionally friendly, responsive, and caring, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The cottage itself is lovely—spotlessly clean, cosy, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need for your stay. The surroundings are absolutely fantastic. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, with sheep and cows grazing nearby and a lovely cat who would come by to say hello. It truly felt like a perfect countryside retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in the Peak District.

I have stayed with the Glyn & Lynn for a year now (minus July) and it’s been a real home away from home after mine had been flooded. It’s been marvellous and in a way I shall be really sad to be leaving the Croft family. Everything you could possibly want is here. You will certainly have a wonderful welcome and a very comfortable stay.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Phil and Diane's pretty little chalet. One of the best places I've ever stayed at for a holiday. Love the decorations. The location is pristine with breathtaking natural trails and walks nearby. Very peaceful to relax and unwind. Both of them were great hosts, very helpful and made our stay very pleasurable. The homemade bread was scrumptious and my wife says thanks again for the superb haircut. Had an amazing time meeting and talking to you. Hope to visit again soon! Take care:)

The room was spacious and lovely and the bathroom looked modern and squeaky clean. Peak District is a fair distance by car, and a cafe, restaurant and pub are right outside the accommodation. A very cosy stay, didn’t want to leave.
