Kid-friendly holiday rentals in South Carolina

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely lake house. Great for families, bbqing, and fishing. I personally really enjoyed the hammock by the lake and how beautifully decorated the home is. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very different type of AirB&B. We got to feed chickens! The house must be from the 20's or 30's & it's lovely. Some of the old charm remains & some of it has been updated. We needed for nothing & even fresh eggs were in the fridge. Yum

This is our second stay at this location and we will definitely be back. My 13 and 11 year old kids, my husband and I love the farm animals next door.

The pictures does no justice. An amazingly beautiful home. The backyard is a relaxing oasis. James was very tentative in responding to our questions. My family and I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this lake house! It was fully stocked with everything we needed! Yard was beautiful. Pool was our favorite hangout spot and was very clean with plenty of room for our big family. The beds were comfortable! Bath tub upstairs was awesome for a soak after a long day in the sun. My family enjoyed kayaking the lake together, and the back porch was a vibe!!! Could not recommend this place more. We will be back!

Beautiful, amazing and perfect for a getaway with friends or romantic stay. Architecturally stunning. Great example of mid-century modern with lots of cut outs, glass and details. Not for the mobile challenged (stairs and a bit of a walk from the car parking) and lots of glass (you give some privacy with other house mates) so if that is not your thing, I wouldn't recommend it. Very quiet except when you open the doors to the waterfall. First day, some water cascading over but after a rain it was all white and mesmerizing. Beds are small but very comfortable. I was able to cook some great meals and they had a lot of items you don't always have, like aluminum foil. Took the hosts recommendation for a vineyard (distillery was the highlight) and a stop in Toccoa, GA. Just book it and enjoy.

Staying at Talia's place was a blessing! We made last minute plans due to unforeseen circumstances and everything just fell into place perfectly! The home was so clean, peaceful and spacious, with all of the amenities we needed! Talia always responded quickly to my emails. What a relief it was to be together with family in such a lovely home, especially splashing in the pool!!! Our family had a wonderful time and we're quite pleased. My family and I enjoyed our stay in this home! It was the perfect size, in a nice and quiet area, AND there were animals! I enjoyed it most when they would run up to the fence. Definitely would stay here again when in the area!

We had such a great stay here! Paul and Christine were wonderful hosts who were very welcoming of us and our 10 year old chatty Corgi mix. There are plenty of outdoor spaces to hang out in, including a beautiful enclosed dog run in the back that has a hammock, chairs and garden. The shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. The neighborhood is quiet and dog-friendly, and walkable to nearby restaurants (we drove because of the dog). The location is perfect for Murrells Inlet and the drive to the beach was only about 10 minutes. We would definitely stay here again!

We choose this location based on previous reviews. It was close to where we wanted to be. It was walkable to the Southern Brewery as well as Graham’s Landing. We had a wonderful time at the brewery and our server was amazing. Robin. Friendly and just made you feel like friends. We went to Gio”s and my dinner was amazing. Or server here, Lexi also very attentive. We really enjoyed being able to use the pass to Huntington Beach/State Park. We were on the beach as well as walked it everyday. Once full, it closes. So, getting there before 12 worked. We also did the free crocodile walk and learned a lot. Saw some in the water and a big one crossed the path. That was exciting. Lots of birds too. So for those who like to take pictures bring your camera. With the park pass we were also aloud to take the Mansion tour for free using the pass. We did the guided one and got a lot out of it. And again if you’re into pictures there plenty of stuff in the back yard. Sunrises. Birds. Comfy bed. Clean.

What an amazing day! My sister and I came to visit Charleston just for a few days as a getaway and Deb’s home was like our little Home away from home. Everything was so cozy and so comfortable!

This condo was wonderful, and the location was great! It was walkable to the beach, but after a long day in the sun, the walk back felt exhausting. We really appreciated having access to the wagon and beach chairs—they made our beach trips so much easier!

Very nice, large & clean remodeled basement. Comfortable bed, large special bathroom, very nice kitchen & dining room , plus a living room & a laundry. We’ve stayed here before & will stay there again. The little extras make it all worth while. Very good & delicious snacks & chocolates, plus coffee pods & cold drinks in the refrigerator. We had a wonderful stay at Sailor’s Rest. It’s a great location for families with young kids. We enjoyed the pool, fresh eggs, fish & walkable gardens. The beach was only apx a 10min drive, and the access card they give you made it very easy. 10/10 would recommend

We came to Myrtle Beach for a family event. When the rest of the family realized the deal and location we had compared to their outrageously expensive lodging, they felt like we got the better value.

I really appreciated the quick responses to my questions/concerns. We really loved our stay and were not ready to go…But we would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay here, it’s a great location on the beach, we like this area of the island as it doesn’t seem as crowded. The resort is nice and has different activities going on, we love having the poolside bar area and ice cream stand right there. The place itself was nice, clean, made good use of space. Kids loved the hall bunks. Very easy to check in and out.

I’ve stayed at this resort multiple times but this room is by far the best! It was clean, had every thing we needed & more, and was a perfect location for a wagon haul to the beach. It was impressively stocked with things you may forget. We had a wonderful stay & will be staying in this room again for our next stay. Thank you!

We absolutely LOVED their place! I have to say one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. Everything was spotless. Loved the decor and you feel like you’re sitting right on the beach on the balcony. Keith and Terri were fabulous to work with and quick to respond. I would absolutely book with them again.

Mike is the best host, quick to respond and eager to accommodate. When we asked a question on the app, he always responded immediately. The place was very clean and exactly as advertised. Looking forward to booking with him again!

Jennifer and Chase were quick to respond to any hiccups that we encountered. The location of the condo was perfect for what we were there for. It was easy to access the beach and a very close walk to the pool. The condo was well stocked with basic essentials, and the decorations were aesthetically pleasing. Parking was plentiful and the overall area felt safe. We loved walking to the ice cream shop and having dole whip. The Acme restaurant was also an easy walk from the condo and I would recommend trying it. There’s a grocery store within a 4 minute drive and the location is close enough to do a nice day trip in Charleston. The coffee shop down the street from the condo wasn’t my cup of tea, but they were friendly and if you just need a quick pick me up it’ll do the trick. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would come back the Sea Cabins.
