Cottage holiday rentals in South Carolina

Kevin reached out prior to our visit to make sure we had all the information we needed. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by little signs, welcoming us, as well as our dog, by name! The beach-themed decor is super cute! The gated deck area and the screened in porch were great for us and our dog. The community is very welcoming and friendly. Having access to the golf cart was helpful and convenient. We enjoyed the pools and Jacuzzi in the community area. Although it rained all week during our stay, we were able to find fun things to do in Myrtle Beach, such as Ripley’s aquarium, the house of mirrors and the haunted house. We highly recommend crabby Mike’s seafood buffet as a fun place to eat. The thermostat on the AC broke during our stay. Kevin was at the door within about 30 minutes and it was fixed by a professional within two hours. We really appreciated his responsiveness! Kevin and Janet were excellent hosts and we enjoyed our stay at the playful pelican very much!

We had a great experience at this Airbnb! The home was very clean and well appointed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed having access to the golf cart—it made getting around the neighborhood and to the beach easy and fun. The host provided very detailed instructions, which helped a lot. We also appreciated being able to check in early once the cleaners were finished—such a nice bonus! One thing to keep in mind is that there are several keys and key cards to manage: a house key in a lockbox with a code, a golf cart key, a shed key, and a key card for neighborhood and beach access. The key card must be purchased separately for $30 from the clubhouse, which has specific operating hours—so plan ahead for that. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we’d definitely return!

A beautiful, comfy cottage for a couple or family of 4. Bring golf clubs, swim suits and bikes because the community is lovely with lots to do. We felt right at home and had everything needed for a comfy, cozy and very peaceful stay. We will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed a beautiful week with my son, his wife and two grandchildren. they loved the golf cart rides and the pools. splash pad was awesome. private beach access was wonderful plus May was perfect weather

This place exceeded our expectations! From the beginning, Matthew was very communicative and helpful. Check in was easy and the place was pristine! We loved drinking our morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the colorful azaleas. My kids loved the 2 twin bedroom and walking to the golf course. The pool was not open yet but is a great amenity to have so close by. It was a super easy, short drive to the Marsh Walk where we enjoyed food and drinks. If I ever find myself in Murrells Inlet I will stay here again and I would recommend to everyone!

Kristen’s place was very beautiful. Definitely a home away from home. Kristen was also a wonderful host. She was very responsive and gave great recommendations. We will definitely be back!

This is indeed the cutest little cottage by the sea! Michael and team were super responsive and proactive with lots of recommendations. The cottage is beautifully furnished and appointed and was spotless and clean upon arrival. Very easy walk to the beach and it was nice to have the Sweetgrass Inn across the street to grab drinks and food. Perfect spot for three adults and two kids. We will definitely be staying here again!

Very responsive and helpful host- the property is small, but worked for our family of 4 with two small children. The location of this property was AMAZING, very private and quiet lane and a very short walk to the beach.

Our second stay, and our expectations were again exceeded. Fully stocked kitchen, plentiful towels and linens, pristine pool and incredible scenery. The hosts were available for any whim and we will most certainly return for a third holiday.

What a wonderful little place to stay. Private, clean, and close enough to town. Some parts of the cottage (pool, bathroom, and part of kitchen) were recently renovated and were even nicer than the photos. Harry was very responsive with any questions. It was a pleasure staying here and I hope to visit again.

Everything was lovely. One small piece of advice. Both my and my son’s GPS took us right to the location but the road to the house was barricaded and has been for many years. If your GPS takes you to a barricade just put in Janette St instead and it will take you to all the detour signs on the other side.

Loved this stay! They were very accommodating in letting me move my reservation after some family things arose. The parking is as described so pay special note to that. I really appreciated all the small details along with a well stocked kitchen (spices, staples, even s’mores!) and the bathroom essentials. Would recommend and would stay again!

It was great to be this memorial weekend in Jennifer’s house. It as quite and peaceful we can get a good rest. The red house is beautiful. I definitely can come back

It’s a cozy, tiny place to stay. Similar to a tiny home. It was very peaceful and quiet for me and my little one. It’s close to good local places to eat too! Will definitely be my first look at places to stay when I come back to visit again.

Nannies Cottage was a beautiful home and the farm animals made it the best. Our hostess was very attentive and responsive. I liked how it was in a private place and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the quietness. If you stay, you must try their cookies they were delicious! I’ll definitely book here next time we’re in the area.

Views are amazing. Location is peaceful, yet gives easy access to surrounding cities and towns. Hospitality is top-notch. The little touches of kindness mean a lot! Safe location for solo travelers, couples, or families. Would return without hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay in this little cottage. Everything was absolutely perfect! Don’t be surprised if you have many Augustans renting from you in the near future! We highly recommend this hidden gem.

This place is a fantastic spot to visit if you want to visit Congaree! My wife and I stayed here and it was incredible! The pics really don't do the beautiful space justice! The hosts did a wonderful job decorating the place and you can tell they put a lot of time and effort into making it a cozy stay. The place is also very secluded making privacy not an issue! The hosts were also very hospitable with extra nice amenities and features such as grilling equipment and some goodies and treats. If you are visiting the area, this is the place to get!

Our stay at Amber Cottage was spectacular; the place is beautiful. If you're looking for a place where you can relax and enjoy nature, this is the place. Amber Cottage is also very centrally located, with restaurants, shops, pharmacies, and tourist attractions just minutes away.

While we only had the pleasure of staying here for one night, we would absolutely return for longer! Jaime and Marie’s place was absolutely adorable. It looked just like the pictures, had all the things you and your family could need for a beach trip, and had the most comfortable beds! The decor was picture perfect and looked brand new. Jaime and Marie were extremely responsive to all my questions and were very kind. I had a billing concern early on and they were quick to help problem solve it for me. Hilton Head is our favorite place and we come every year. We are thankful to have found a new spot we can add to our list for places to stay. Great location, peaceful, and a real hidden gem. Thank you for having us!

What a gem! Absolutely loved our stay here. It was so private and quiet and peaceful and cozy. I could go on and on. And the 2 sweet kitties outside were a welcome sight :) Comfy bed, super strong water pressure in the shower, cool AC, beautiful landscaping, friendly hosts. Highly recommend and would love to return!

The place was perfect for us. Very private and had room to park our trailer, truck, and motorcycle we brought. The screened in porch is a super bonus to sit in and enjoy the breeze and listen to nature and any rain showers.

This AirBnb had a great location and was a clean and accommodating house. The house stayed cool and comfortable. Very convenient to the Dollar General for any last minute needs. The lake was very fun and quiet with an occasional boats. Only recommendation I have that I didn’t think of needing as we have stayed several places along Lake Marion and have never needed were water shoes if your kids will be playing in the water. There were several fishing hooks lying on the deck, in the water, and hooked under the deck which our kids found and one of which poked a hole in our float. Also, although there is a shallow area that I found to be very nice with having young kids, it is full of broken clam shells of which ended up cutting my daughter foot and it ended up infected. Not blaming the host at all and still gave the house a definite 5 stars as it is swim at your own risk. It is just something I would have wanted to prepare for as a parent coming to this location.
