Great communication and a place that was close to everything important while still being a bit off the main drag. My mom loved having a coffee maker in the mornings and the kitchen equipment was more than adequate to whip up a few meals during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay. Billie was friendly and approachable, and so wonderful. We enjoy the clean and comfortable place, and swimming pool. The place was very close from the main shopping/restaurants area and it made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you for everything Billie!

There’s nothing new that I can add that wouldn’t repeat the positive comments that have already been written by other guests. We had booked this location primarily to use the laundry on the last leg of our hiking trip, but wow, the level of comfort is unmatched. I appreciated the notes and labels around the place with pieces of advice or recommendations on how to use certain appliances to help make our stay as easy as possible, and there truly was everything you could think of to feel like you were staring at home (from beach towels and soft bath towels to laundry pods, snacks and a wide array of spices and seasonings, and the private garden area to grilling and fire pit supplies). Joyce is undoubtedly an extremely intentional and thoughtful host, and we’ve never had a better experience.

Margi was very gracious and accommodating! The tiny house had all the amenities I needed and was very quiet and peaceful.

The cabin is lovely! It’s peaceful, comfortable and really clean. The mattress is super comfortable. I loved the quirky design of the cabin and the bookshelf and board games were a bonus. Loved the meadow for doing yoga. The George Hill path is a must, as is the disc golf park (even if you’re just there for a hike). What I didn’t love was the lack of special touches we usually find at Airbnb’s. The amenities are very basic. For that price, though, how much can you expect. I’d prefer paying a little extra for more amenities/comforts. Bring all your own stuff - body wash, shampoo, coffee, and especially food!!! Really enjoyed the slow pace of island life but everything closes early (if it’s open at all) and there aren’t many restaurants so make sure to prepare and pack well.

Beautiful cottage - very private with your own lovely garden. Very quiet and tranquil space. The cottage was well equipped and stocked with everything you may need. Located a short drive to the ocean. Plenty of beaches around - both sandy and pebbly. Sarah and Adam are great hosts and responded very quickly. Very friendly.

We had a great time in Victoria and the location of the Airbnb could not have been better for us. The place is bright and airy and met all of our expectations. The bed is comfy, the sofa bed is acceptable, the kitchen has everything you need! We even did a couple of loads of laundry and that all worked great too! Fantastic stay, Thanks!!

Beautiful weekend getaway spot to celebrate our Anniversary. We loved the privacy of the cottage, beautiful ocean views, the hot tub was perfect. We had a fire and cooked up steaks on the BBQ. Went into town and had a beautiful dinner at Wild Mountain and went for a 10 km hike on the East Sooke Trails. Unfortunately the weather was too windy to kayak, but the option is there! Fresh eggs provided for breakfast and a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Everything we needed for our little getaway!

Loretta’s Airbnb was ideal for us; we wish we had stayed longer than 3 nights. Everything within the unit is new and works perfectly. The outdoor view is spectacular! You’ll only hear the sounds of birds and the wind through the trees. We appreciated Loretta’s information binder describing the many nearby hiking trails. Brad and Doe’s place was nestled in the woods with treed surroundings. Appropriately named the Owl’s Nest. Responsive and friendly couple. Pristine in cleanliness. Cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! Comfortable beds and kitchen had necessary basics for making coffee in the morning to breakfasts and dinners. BBQ worked great and had a window to see your food haha - never seen that before! Nice little outdoor patio. Large picture windows to see deer and even an eagle and let morning light in. Spacious shower. Truly a gem!!

My girlfriend and I wanted to book a getaway to unwind and this was the perfect spot for a peaceful and romantic weekend. We enjoyed breakfast/coffee on the deck each morning. This cottage had amazing views of the water and has a cozy, modern vibe. Jim is a great host. He gave us great recommendations for hikes and food. Don’t miss the koi pond—it’s absolutely beautiful. His property is so serene and calming, you'll instantly feel relaxed. One of the best Airbnb experiences, will definitely be back!

I had such a peaceful and memorable stay here. The property is absolutely stunning — everywhere you look, you’re surrounded by vibrant flowers and breathtaking views. One of my favourite parts was simply sitting on the beach, watching the seascape shift and come to life. I made use of the kayak and even tried out the crab trap (only caught little ones, but still fun!). What really stood out to me was how much care and love the owners have clearly put into this place. It felt warm, homey, and welcoming — not just a rental, but a space that’s truly cared for. Every detail was thoughtful and charming. I can’t wait to come back.

From the moment I arrived, it felt like stepping into my grandmother’s house—warm, inviting, and filled with the kind of comfort that instantly makes you feel at home. The space was beautifully decorated, incredibly cozy, and had everything I needed to unwind and relax. But what truly made this stay unforgettable was Sarah and Lance. They are the most wonderful and thoughtful hosts, and they came through when it mattered most! When an unexpected snowstorm hit, leaving everyone stuck inside and the roads completely impassable, they went above and beyond to make sure we were safe, warm, and well taken care of. Their kindness and hospitality made all the difference, turning what could have been a stressful situation into an adventure filled with great conversation, good food, and an even deeper appreciation for this hidden gem. If you're looking for a peaceful escape—this is it!

This Guesthouse was wonderful! It was great for me and my husband to explore Hurricane Ridge and Lake crescent when visiting ONP. We also visited family in Port Townsend which was also very convenient. The bed was so comfortable and the guesthouse has a great view of the mountains when sitting outside to eat breakfast and dinner. This was place was a great deal.

Was a great experience, My wife and I had a very relaxing night and would definitely recommend this space to friends and family.

We had a great stay at Rachel’s place, perfect for two people. It was very clean, private, and the scenery of the area was beautiful. It had everything we needed for a few days and we appreciated the little things provided that we forgot, like tin foil sheets, small ziplocs, etc.

John and Julie's place is quite spacious, exceeding our expectations. The kitchen contained everything we needed to make meals. The teabags and coffee were a nice extra. We appreciated the unscented laundry detergent and the large stainless steel laundry tub. The backyard was lovely for relaxing and listening to the birds. We enjoyed walking to the corner grocery store and My Chosen Cafe & Pizza; and Broken Paddle coffee shop was excellent. The host provided ample bedding and extra towels. I really appreciated the binder that provided guidance about the place and local tips. We had a little trouble unlocking the first time but then it was easy once we figured it out. We would certainly be happy to return to John and Julie's place the next time we're on Vancouver Island.

We stayed a couple of nights just after the May long weekend, so Mayne Island was really quiet (note: make sure to check when stores/restaurants are open if you are not planning on bringing or cooking your own meals). John's place was perfect for our needs, an easy walk down to the beachfront, and an easy walk to the bakery/grocery store that was near by. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking materials and utensils, which we utilized when making our meals! Note the bathroom is a separate cabin but it is right next to the cabin with the bedroom/living area/kitchen so we found that was perfectly fine. We would definitely stay again, as it was quiet peaceful and relaxing!

A lovely stay on a beautiful property. Well appointed with items to stay occupied in the home, remember to pack groceries and items of convenience as the closest store is a drive but Meghan and team assured essentials available if needed!
