We had a fantastic stay at Sheila's place. The views were absolutely spectacular and my parents loved being able to view the local wildlife. The house was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Sheila was even kind enough to provide some extra soft drinks and snacks for us. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at James and Naomi’s place! We spent our time playing records, dancing, and enjoying a few rounds of Scrabble. The loft is cozy and peaceful, with a great selection of board games—perfect for a rainy day. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I had an amazing stay. Was only a few steps from the beautiful very quiet beach. Julie and her husband were lovely and very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be returning:)

This is a true Guest House experience. Hans and Denise were just incredible hosts. Really thoughtful and personal. The location is top notch, and the cabin is perfect. 10/10. Can’t fault it.

The cabin is lovely! It’s peaceful, comfortable and really clean. The mattress is super comfortable. I loved the quirky design of the cabin and the bookshelf and board games were a bonus. Loved the meadow for doing yoga. The George Hill path is a must, as is the disc golf park (even if you’re just there for a hike). What I didn’t love was the lack of special touches we usually find at Airbnb’s. The amenities are very basic. For that price, though, how much can you expect. I’d prefer paying a little extra for more amenities/comforts. Bring all your own stuff - body wash, shampoo, coffee, and especially food!!! Really enjoyed the slow pace of island life but everything closes early (if it’s open at all) and there aren’t many restaurants so make sure to prepare and pack well.

Had a lovely stay in Jennifer and Doug's Island Forest Retreat. Location is great, it's a quick drive/walk to Snug Cove and the bus also stops right outside. Completely echoing the other reviews but the baked treats that were dropped off in the morning were incredible! Thanks for a great stay!

Great spot. The cabin is cozy and private and the horses and cats are great companions to relax with. Enjoyed our stay.

Landon was incredibly helpful and kind during our stay. His property is wonderful and there is something for everyone from pool to video games to jacuzzi to big screen movie binges. The kitchen is well equipped if you wish to stay in, downtown Prince George is a few minutes away and there is a wonderful public park close by for a gentle stroll or a proper run. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you, Landon!

100% recommend this stay. If you want a stellar view in a private setting this is it. Sip your evening beverage and watch the sunset and listen to the birds; it’s like you’re in a bird sanctuary! Comfortable bed, hot shower, well stocked kitchen. Responsive host that was helpful on a moments notice.

This was our home for a few nights and it was perfect. Cozy and peaceful. Vanessa had special touches all over the home that made us feel welcomed. I hope we can come back soon and stay here again. Great trails were easy to find and the small town close by was delightful.

Wendy & Gords oasis was all we hoped for our ladies get together! Beautiful home & surroundings, thoughtfully set up to accommodate our needs, & very respectful of our privacy. Would most definitely rebook & highly recommend for group or family gatherings. Swim spa was pristine as was their guest home. This is a beautiful little cabin in the woods. It was appointed perfectly and we felt right at home. The outside area was beautiful with amazing gardens, trees, flowers, walking paths and a little pond. We walked to Beddis beach in about 15 mins with our morning coffees. Sauna and outdoor shower were great as well. Lovely stay.

Such a beautiful spot and location, this place is better in person and the view is amazing. Perfect spot to get away and enjoy the island, some close walking trails and amazing views to go see. Can’t wait to be back for another trip

We stayed a couple of nights just after the May long weekend, so Mayne Island was really quiet (note: make sure to check when stores/restaurants are open if you are not planning on bringing or cooking your own meals). John's place was perfect for our needs, an easy walk down to the beachfront, and an easy walk to the bakery/grocery store that was near by. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking materials and utensils, which we utilized when making our meals! Note the bathroom is a separate cabin but it is right next to the cabin with the bedroom/living area/kitchen so we found that was perfectly fine. We would definitely stay again, as it was quiet peaceful and relaxing!

most beautiful peaceful country retreat. cabin really well appointed with super attention to detail. very cosy and Kate was a fantastic hostess. near local town with all necessities. very easy access to national parks, Whistler and other areas of interest. lake swimming and boardwalk minutes away. really enjoyed our week and would highly recommend.

Natalie’s communication was excellent prior to my stay. This made finding the location and check-in very easy. There was lots of attention to detail in the cabin to make me feel right at home, comfortable, and have everything I needed. Her care for her guests was very evident, and made for a lovely stay.

Kari and Sean are excellent hosts. Their carriage house on the rocks was exactly as described. The unit is very clean and perfect for the two of us. We love the location- very quiet neighborhood- and yet not far from restaurants and parks and the waterfront. I will definitely be looking for this property the next time we travel to Nanaimo. And the nanaimo bars left for us were delicious!!!!!
