David’s place sits in an idyllic location that’s peaceful & private. The home is immaculately built with impeccable design features. The beds are super comfy and the main living space is ideal for relaxing with family. Lots to explore on the property with the 4x4. We also thoroughly enjoyed our pup greeters - Gracie & Maxwell. David was very responsive when it came to our Q’s or an issue we had during our stay. Highly recommend his home. We’ll be back next year for our antiquing adventures!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to your home. The setting was beautiful and the house spotless and quite comfortable. We made full use of the screened in porch -- as it allowed for a great view of the meadow and its wildflowers.

This spot is awesome! It has everything you need and more for a fun weekend or an extended stay. Wade, the host, is super accommodating and communicative and is available if you need anything. Great place to kick back with friends and enjoy a nice fire and the outdoors while also being cozy in the house. My friends and I have stayed twice for our annual guys trip and it’s been perfect. Thanks Wade for setting us up with a sweet spot to hang!

This property is absolutely beautiful. The house is well appointed with a lot of attention to detail. The towels were monogrammed, the floor mats were monogrammed! It's beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. I highly recommend this property, and we are excited to return soon. Scott was very responsive and super friendly. Everything was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location on Carter Lake. The large windows in the living room made for a beautiful view of the lake. The house is quite roomy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this rental for a relaxing weekend on the lake. It’s nice that it’s only 10 minutes away from south Cstat yet is so serene and beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at this ranch. The host was very responsive and accommodating, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience, especially for the 4 young children we had. A jump house was set up for them, and they were able to pet and feed the bunnies, pet the horse and ponies, and play with the toys in the main area. It was a very serene environment, and there was lots of space for the kids to run around. The beds were so comfortable, and the showers were amazing. All the small details such as the nice towels, the tea selection, and the high quality appliances made this experience that much more enjoyable. This place is clean, beautiful and is perfect for a large group. It had everything we needed, including a coffee, microwave and mini-fridge in every suite. We were overwhelmed with how many amenities were available and couldn’t get enough of the view.

The burgundy house has it all! Comfort, convenience and coziness. With all the amenities, there was something fun for everyone in the family to do. We enjoyed the ample space , which allowed our group (ages 19 to 74) to have both privacy and communal experiences. We played ping pong, pool and darts for hours! The deck on the lake provided relaxation and connection with nature. Eirik is a responsive and caring host who offered suggestions about Smithville and the surroundings. Overall a great experience to recharge. We will be back!

We booked Lucy’s place for family members coming in town for our daughter's wedding. It exceeded all expectations. They were extremely happy with the home and the scenery around it. Great place!!

This was my second stay at Marcile's beautiful AirBnB. This place has the warmth of a home and not just AirBnB. Marcile was kind enough to let us host a lil party for which this place is perfect! I had a change in my travel plans at the last moment, Marcile did accommodate this last minute change and made my stay smooth. Thanks Marcile!

Overall the stay was great. Lynnen was extremely responsive and flexible with us! Air conditioning worked great and the place was mostly clean. There was some dust here and there and maybe some rat droppings but other than that, just what you would expect from a very old house!

The house was very nice and perfect for our family and for our graduation visit. Tera was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Our stay was very comfortable and clean. Everything was exactly as described and the neighborhood was quiet and felt right at home. Would book here again!

This was a wonderful stay for a long weekend celebrating my daughter’s birthday. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Large kitchen and seating for meals. Private land with a pond and lots of walking trails. Ten minute quaint walk to Lake Somerville through a quiet neighborhood. Host was excellent at communicating and had the house very user friendly. We stayed to visit Round Top and the drive was a bit far but worth the pricing, and the view along the way was amazing in the spring with all of the bluebonnets.

My mom and I have made it a tradition to attend the Round Top Spring Show every year, and staying at David’s place is always the highlight of our trip! The property is spotless, serene, and offers all the amenities needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It's conveniently located just under five minutes from downtown Brenham, where we love exploring the charming shops and local eateries. David is incredibly responsive and accommodating, making check-in effortless each time. Thank you for yet another wonderful stay, David! Very clean inside. Lots of deer to see mornings and evenings, and that was fun! There are simple surroundings and we were a little scared it was sketchy when pulled up at night, but once morning came its fine & pretty peaceful. White trailer next to it, but seemed vacant& we didn’t see anything that worried us around. There is a creepy red light on this front porch, which is odd and I would recommend changing that. And you are unable to leave fan on in the living room area at night bc same switch controls the light in that room.

This little house was so cute, clean, and cozy. Would definitely stay here again.

Looked just like the pictures. Beautiful country setting. The pond does have fish in it. Also has turtles and bullfrogs. It had been a long time since I heard a bullfrog. Easy to find & easy to get to. Bedding & towels were nice & clean. The bed was comfrtable although a bit too soft for my achy old back but still a good bed. I read other reviews talking about bugs but this is in the country. The only bugs we had inside the cottage was a couple of wasps. Having read the other reviews we brought some bug spray so the wasps were easily taken care of. There is a Keurig coffee maker even though I was told there wasn't. I only have 2 negative points. First the outside of the cottage should be cleaned. Atleast knock down wasp nests in the eaves. Also I would think the porch would be part of the routine cleaning we pay for. It would definitely reduce the amount of dirt tracked inside. We never could change the TV volume even after using the Roku remote. It seemed locked on hi.
