Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Smallwood

Wonderful stay. Location was beautiful. Alex was very responsive and an exceptional host and responded to all of our questions within minutes. The house was very much like the photos and we found all the necessities including cooking appliances and accessories. We wish the canoe in the backyard was in better shape but Alex was honest in stating use at own risk. It was still functional.

Spent a week in a cozy cabin tucked away in the woods, and it was exactly the reset I needed. Peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature—waking up to the sound of birds and falling asleep under the stars felt like a dream. The cabin itself was warm, clean, and had all the essentials. Whether we were sitting by the fire, going on nearby hikes, or just enjoying the view on the porch, every moment felt grounding. No traffic, no stress—just stillness. Highly recommend if you’re looking to disconnect and recharge. Can’t wait to go back.

Dave's place is absolutely phenomenal. The house is immaculate and fully stocked. Dave was very responsive and friendly. It was a great experience and I will definitely recommend this place to friends when they're in the vicinity.

No notes, incredible escape even in the pouring rain. The ambience, even down to the little things like walking through the door to classical music, was truly top notch.

My husband and I needed some time to re-bond and boy did this place and Tom & Carol deliver. The best airbnb we've ever stayed in, very romantic, beautiful, and inspiring. They put so much love and detail into the place, it went above and beyond in terms of amenities (they had everything we needed plus so much more). I had brought a lasagna that was too big to heat in their airfryer, so they offered to put it in their oven to heat up - which was lovely of them. Honestly this place and the hosts exceeded our expectations in every way. Tom & Carol gave us a personal tour of their beautiful property, gallery and house and all of Tom's artwork - which is everywhere. Tom is so talented and answered our many, many questions. They were super welcoming to my dog as well, and our dogs even played together! My only complaint w/tongue in cheek: Tom doesn't sell his work any longer as he's building a sculpture garden and museum - I get that, but it was hard to not buy some of his incredible work.

Beautiful & Calm home , host was really nice, easy to communicate, Our family had really good time I will recommend for everyone.

We stayed up here for a weekend and it was very quiet and there is stream nearby which is lovely to listen to the water falling over rocks--so incredibly peaceful. The neighbors are very close and its right off the road but you're tucked away into a little cove so it feels more nature. Great natural light and lots of windows!

My friends and I loved staying at Svetlana & Eugene’s place. The home was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed to spend a lovely long weekend upstate while it was very snowy out. Definitely would re-book!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was more than we expected. Emily was very responsive and the check-in process was seamless! I would stay there again! Oh and the location is literally 5 mins from LEGOLAND which helped since we traveled over 4hrs from MD!

We really enjoyed our stay as a family at this location. Everything was clean and comfy with lovely, peaceful surroundings. Since the weather cooperated, we were able to enjoy the gazebo and pool area which our children especially enjoyed. The host was extremely responsive and courteous and also offered some excellent recommendations for restaurants and fun things to do in the area. We will definitely plan to stay here again when we visit the area in the future!

The brick house at Eagle Ridge Farm was a great home base for us to spend a long weekend in the Catskills. The place was well kept, with a comfy bed, and a great view out the windows. Scenic, but only a few minutes from Arkville and Margaretville, where there are great options for food and drink! We were also recommended great hikes by the host. Would happily stay again!

Donna's place was immaculate easy to find shes very responsive. For us personally we needed to make adjustments but she is more than willing to work with us. Appreciate the offer to stay. Highly recommend.

Donna was a great host and gave very clear instructions. The lectures match the description perfectly and it is a wonderful little spot to spend a few nights in.

Both Patrick and his apartment are wonderful! His place is our absolute first choice while visiting Warwick. The apartment is always spotless, the bed is super comfy, and the view from the living area is spectacular. We saw a menagerie of backyard wildlife this trip, including deer, bunnies, chipmunks, woodchucks, squirrels, and a whole host of different birds. And the apartment is easily walkable to everything the village has to offer. Patrick is a really kind human and we love chatting with him. We’re big fans!

Very convenient location close by to everything we needed! We did have an issue with something in our unit, but Aaron communicated very quickly and was able to let us use the other available unit for the night. Both Air bnbs at the property were very well stocked and spotless. Felt very much at home here!

The location was absolutely stunning! The river in the backyard created a very relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and the space was clean. At one point, it rained, and I enjoyed sitting on the patio.

We loved this place. It totally exceeded all expectations! We came on a rainy weekend so we didn't explore much outdoors, but the cabin is so cozy and the amenities are awesome, so we still felt like we had plenty to do. The hot tub and sauna both comfortably fit our entire group (6 people). Additionally, the sauna is in a beautiful spot, tucked into the woods next to the creek. We weren't sure what to expect from the location since the cabin was closer to the city and suburbs than some other options, but we found it to feel very secluded, rural, and peaceful. Would recommend to anyone!

The Waterfall Casita was beautiful, well equipped, clean and offered lots of privacy. The view to the waterfall was breathtaking. Perfect to relax, connect with nature and get a break from the daily hustle. Would’ve loved to stay longer! We were able to cook meals without any difficulties, the fridge though small was more than plenty of room for the essentials we brought. Jenn was kind, available and communicated quickly without disrupting the peace and privacy. The information about local places and instructions were clear and helpful. Would love to stay again!

This place is amazingggg. Such a perfect experience. I’m so glad I came here. I love it so much I ended up saying two extra days. I wanna keep it all to myself. I don’t even wanna tell you guys about it. 😂 this place really is as perfect as it looks. The beds are so comfortable, the view is amazing. The sounds are amazing. Everything is high quality. Heated floor and seat in bathroom. It’s so peaceful and private. There’s a Japanese style hot tub in the backyard that overlooks the river. And string lights thru the back yard. I love it SO much. Everything here is so intentional. Jenny did an amazing job with this place. And Jenny is so chill and fun. I don’t wanna Airbnb anywhere else - this place has ruined it for all other places 😂

Very nice house, good fishing and wildlife nearby. A little closer to the neighbors than expected, but overall a great place and would love to come back

This was the best BNB we have ever stayed at! Very clean, comfortable, private, and beautiful. You can tell thought was put into every detail. We didn't want to leave! The beds were very comfortable, we even ordered the same bedding with the BNB Cozy Earth discount code that was in the bedroom once we got home (Thank you, Meng!). The location was also great and not too far from anything with a lot of scenic natural beauty. We stopped at the North Branch Cider Mill nearby for coffee and some shopping and that's now my favorite stop in the Catskills! We hope to be back again soon. 10/10!
