Lovely property, super clean, comfortable and well equipped for families. Couldn’t ask for a better place. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to stay in a less crowded place . But also easy access to a small city where you can get groceries. I love it

Beautiful little typical chalet with local decoration, trolls of all kinds. A magnificent view of the fjord from the bedroom balcony. Everything you need to cook. A lovely place to recommend.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Iren’s home. My husband and I were amazed with the views from the window and the layout of the home. We really felt right at home. We are very grateful that we got to enjoy such a beautiful home close to the city of Ålesund.

The house is really a place to feel at home - even it is only for a few days. The pictures in AirBnB show nothing more than the real beauty of this place. Sometimes the view is even better than on the pics. ;) The farm with the sheep is perfect for kids and please ask Ingvild for Lego - the kids love the box full of fun, especially on rainy days. :) The house itself has everything you need to have a good time at Ingvild and Lasses place. I totally recommend to enjoy a few days on this beautiful, cozy and relaxing place in Sæbø. :)

We lived in this house for almost five months as visiting scientists to NTNU Ålesund with our son who went to the Ålesund International School. Both locations could be reached easily, Aalesund Sentrum can be reached quicklyand Moa offers everything needed. The well-equiped house suited us perfectly with ample of space and convenient furniture. Åshild could always be reached easily and was always kind and helpful. We had a wonderful and exciting time during our stay. We are very grateful for being able to live in this house during our time in Ålesund.

Feeling like home as soon as you open the main door, that is the feeling we had the very first moment we stepped in. Very clean, cozy and decorated with absolute taste. It is one of the most equipped places I have ever been... there is everything you can imagine and that you might need. And everything is perfectly organized and clean that it makes it easy to use and put it back where it belongs. 10 minutes drive from the house you have a 24/7 small super market open where you can get anything you need. The house deserves the absolutely maximum possible star rating and so does the host. Smart advice: do follow the instructions of the host to find it... google maps does not help. We spent three nights at Roar's place and wish we could have stayed longer. It was so peaceful with good walking from the doorstep, and lovely waking up to the sound of birdsong. Roar went out of his way to make us feel welcome and offered great walking recommendations. Thank you!

Very nice apartment that was perfect for our family with two adults and two children:) Clean and nice, good space and cozy! A big plus with a garden with a playroom and toys that the kids could borrow inside. The host was also quick to answer questions and very helpful. We all had a great time and will be happy to come back :-)

This place was so beautiful! The apartment was very nice and the neighborhood was so so cute! We got a little lost finding it but Tove was very helpful and kind!

We booked the place for 3 nights and we felt bad that we could not spend as much time we we would have loved to in the beautiful home. The only minor drawback is the steep stairs to the main level and one of the bathrooms being in the lower level. Kinga was extremely helpful whenever we needed any information or help and also with suggestions on local activities. Great home, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful and convenient location!

Martin’s place is gorgeous. Just close enough to be walkable into the center of Geiranger but not in the middle of the action. Our family of three had plenty of room jn its well-appointed furnishings—could have stayed a lot longer than the three nights we had. Martin was VERY quick to respond, and personable as well. If ever in the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook with Martin!

Really lovely apartment, very walkable to good hikes

For the second Easter holiday in a row, my wife and I and our two children stayed in Kristin's cozy cabin apartment at Strandafjellet and again this year it was a pleasure. The cabin apartment has everything you need and is within walking distance of the ski complex in the mountains. Hoping to come back next year!

Yael's Villa was exactly what my wife and I needed for a couple nights while exploring Ålesund and the surrounding area. It had everything you need to feel at home and between the deck, the jacuzzi, sauna, and water access, you could stay put and be very happy about it! Yael should teach a masterclass for other Airbnb hosts on how to make their guests feel welcome and valued. He was incredibly helpful during our stay and was quick to respond any time I sent a message. His homemade sauna is impressive and a real treat after a long hike or a dip in the frigid weather. He charges a few bucks to use it to help with electric which is completely understandable. Can't say enough nice things about Yael and the time my wife and I spent at his place. Close to a bus stop that will get you into city center, but if you have a car and want to drive in, that's easy too. Don't pass this place up!

Magnificent views with 5-star amenities! The place is exceptional and better than advertised. We would highly recommend this gem for an unforgettable stay in Ålesund!

This is a special place! Best of everything Norway has to offer. Quaint island community, a perfect peaceful getaway with easy and scenic drives to Alesund (15mins) or day trips to Loen, Stryn, and Geiranger. Traveled with another family and all had our own spaces, with beautiful accommodations, well appointed & extremely clean. The neighbor kids immediately greeted our two children and fast friends were made. We would sit outside on the deck or pier and listen to sounds of kids laughing and having fun everywhere, pulling fish, snails or crabs out of the water over & over again or playing at the local playground. Not to mention the hospitality of the neighbors (homemade strawberry jam, an evening fishing trip, and some local crab claw snacks). And hiking….. the most spectacular views hiking to Storhornet and back down the ridge to the island school. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed the endless views from nearly every spot outside or inside the house. Core memories made!
