Waterfront holiday rentals in Sintra

Had a great stay in a great location. Would say not really suitable for anyone with walking disability as very hilly. Location was great with a 10 minute walk down to river. We used uber and cabs to get back up. Take trainers or shoes with grip as pavements are slippery 😳

The place was just as described. Very beautiful view and a short 15 minute walk to the water. Maria was very helpful and accommodating. A great place to stay in Cascais.

Joana’s home is the perfect location to explore Lisbon. It is very close to a lot of shopping and tourist attractions. There are tons of restaurants options available within close proximity. I would love to stay in Joana’s home again when I come back to Lisbon.

We loved our stay at this beautiful apartment. Not only does it provide the amenities as listed but they also have beach toys and things to use. The apartment was so comfortable and a wonderful place to watch the world go by. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot say enough wonderful things about the apartment. (The only thing to be careful of is the apartment is on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Not a problem for us but might be for some. )

What fantastic water views! This was a great home for 3 adults to each have their own bedrooms +bathrooms. It was very clean, and the hosts provided great local recommendations. If you are good with walking lots of stairs to reach this penthouse, the water views are worth it

La piccola mansarda di Antije è un posto intimo, tranquillo, con vista sul Tago e sui tetti della città. Posizionata in una zona centralissima, vicina a 5 minuti da bus, stazione Apolonia e metro. Antije è un host perfetta. Gentilissima, pronta a dare consigli in base alle esigenze dell'ospite, consigli su cosa fare la sera e dove cenare, consigli sugli eventi culturali in corso nei giorni di permanenza. Una cosa che vale più di tutte, che pure sono state perfette, è il letto comodissimo. Non è facile trovare letti super comodi , ma quello di casa di Antije lo è!

Je recommande cet appartement pour ceux et celles qui cherchent une auberge dans un très beau quartier pas bruyant. Proche du centre, à 5-6 euros en taxi) L’appartement est conforme à la description. Propre et soigné. Une belle terrasse offre une vue magnifique sur la rivière et le quartier. Nous avons tout apprécié, pas de bémol, donc à recommander.

Wir haben die Auszeit total genossen - traumhaft schöner Blick - tolle Kulisse plus privater Zugang zum Meer und die Nutzung eines Tennisplatzes. Der Sohn von Luis war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Wie schon in anderen Bewertungen geschrieben - ist es etwas schwer zu finden - aber wenn ihr euch den Weg von den Gastgebern beschreiben lasst - lässt es sich gut finden. Einmal dort will man sich gar nicht mehr weg fahren - neben surfen, gibt es tolle Restaurants und einen wunderbaren Strand. Aber auch die Umgebung bietet tolle Städte und Schlösser zum besichtigen, die mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar sind.

The place is amazing and well worth the price. There were some issues with Cristina not receiving my messages, however through phone we managed to communicate everything perfectly.

Probably one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at. Patricia was extremely helpful for whatever is needed and very flexible with check in times. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Overall a fantastic experience

Great place for our family Xmas stay. Comfortable, modern decorated and well equipped. Very well located at walking distance to the beach, restaurants and local market / shops. Elsa is a friendly and responsive host.

La parcela se encuentra en un enclave fabuloso en medio de la naturaleza, tiene aparcamiento propio y el apartamento es agradable. Está decorado con buen gusto y tiene vistas al mar. Además María fue muy amable con nosotros. Estuvo atenta todas las veces que requerimos de su ayuda a lo largo de nuestra estancia. Gracias por todo!

We really had a great time at Madalenas place! The house is huge with three baths and three beds, all with access to the sunny, private deck and the really nice pool. The perfect spot for a summer vacation, with a lot of nice beaches close by and all necessary shops and restaurants in walking distance.

I went with my whole family including my elderly parents and my children. We met Vasco at the door and he was very kind and helpful. We had a few issues with a taxi driver whom tried to rip us off and over charge us enroute to our accommodation. Luckily Vasco was there when we arrived at the place and he spoke to them and helped us out! Vasco always replied back when we needed advise or help. The place was beautiful it was very specious and the view of the sea was absolutely breathtaking from the living room. We would all eat at the table and admire the beautiful view it was so peaceful. The neighborhood was also full of friendly people. The children loved it too! Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Duques Villa. Completely renovated historic property with plenty of room for two and all the modern conveniences. Extremely clean and comfortable. Relaxing outdoor area shaded by fruit trees with view of the river. Our host Lucinda was friendly, proactive, and responsive. Short drive or invigorating walk to city center. Recommended!

El apartamento de Luis es lo mejor. La verdad que está bien ubicado, en frente de la playa, estás a máximo 20 minutos en Uber del centro de Lisboa, tienes supermercados cerca y además un restaurante de sushi justo al lado que es increíble. Así que cuando regresen a Lisboa, el apartamento de Luis es el lugar.

The apartment is modern, well equipped and clean. It's in a handy location for the airport, the Oriente railway and bus stations, and the Metro. Vitaliano and Nara were excellent hosts - always helpful, responsive and friendly.

Beautiful apartment in a great location! Apartment was very spacious and beautifully decorated. It made us feel very at home and easy to relax. Location was in short walking distance to many sightseeing locations and the water front, which had many wonderful restaurants. I would highly recommend Ameri’s home.

We had a fabulous stay at Barbara's place. The apartment was beautiful with stunning views from the bedrooms. The spiral staircase added an old world charm. We had a lovely stay at this apartment with our two small children and recommend it highly! The space is well-furnished and everything was very clean when we arrived. The bedding was so comfortable that I had to see where they came from so I can order my own, and the upstairs AC unit worked very well. The host even left some lovely snacks for us and toys for my kids to play with. The stairs were definitely challenging because we had a baby and stroller with us to carry up and down each time, but I think the amenities and view are worth the climb. Would absolutely recommend this property and host, thanks you!

Fantastic location close to lots of great restaurants and bars. Handy also to luggage storage if you have a late flight out as we did. Totally recommend and also Flora and Fauna - 30 metres up the street for a fantastic breakfast
