Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Sintra

Robert and Fabian’s house is much more spacious than what Airbnb photos had showed us. The location is great. It’s close to Sintra and Azenhas do Mar, one of the most beautiful coastlines in the country. Fabian is kind and considerate. He has old-school hospitality, gave us great travel tips, and even made coffee for us before our early morning flight. We really enjoyed our stay there.

The stay was amazing! Super clean, well-organized, and had everything we needed for a peaceful time. Great location, close to Agualva-Cacém station. And the hosts… such a lovely couple! Friendly, kind, and always ready to help. Highly recommend. I hope more and more people get to stay with them!

Maria is so sweet. She made my stay in Sintra easy and enjoyable. Very kind of her to let me keep my baggage at the home even after check out to get the most out of my day! She even offered me some beautiful soup one night. It felt like home. I only stayed one night and I wish I stayed at least two! So much to see in the surrounding areas. Maria will make you feel at home! Nice warm shower and comfortable bed!

Apartment was very warm, a fan or air conditioner would be nice. When we opened the doors to bring in fresh air,flies would come in. Couldn’t have doors open at night because of people talking all hours of the night outside Kitchen amenities wonderful. The place was set up like a hotel . Very comfortable

The small apartment has everything you need. It's not in Sintra's old town, and that's a good thing. 2 stations by train and you are stress-free there. Even after Lisbon, the train connection is perfect. About 30 minutes. The apartment is on a large street, but still quiet due to the good windows and the glazed balcony. The reception was very friendly. We felt very comfortable.

Daniel was a great host, and the apartment was comfortable, spacious, and in the perfect location to explore Sintra during the day. I appreciated Daniel’s quick responses, and willingness even to come have a look at the coffee maker when it wasn’t working. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a stay near Sintra.

This is a very special AirBnB stay, the passion project of a family-oriented Dutch couple who have spent the better part of a decade crafting their vision of a garden poolside retreat, located in a village not far from the cliff side vistas of Praia da Vigia and just a short drive from the picturesque streets and diverse eating establishments of Ericeira. From the moment my dog and I arrived, both Ronnie and Johanna went out of their way to welcome me and help orient me to my new surroundings. I can truly say without exaggeration that they made me feel like family. The small poolhouse type bedroom I rented (there are multiple options on the property) was perfectly appointed with nice linens and the non attached bathroom, reachable via the garden courtyard, among the most luxuriant I’ve had in small rental stays (great shower). There are also wonderful shared amenities like an outdoor kitchen/bar and eating and lounging tables that let you stake out a particular part of the garden.

My friends and I had such an amazing time staying here. We all agreed that this experience could not be found anywhere else in the area. Due to the warm weather, we spent the majority of the time lounging and swimming in the pool. There were plenty of nice places to eat and drink nearby, including an unique medieval bar. We exclusively used Uber to get around and did not experience any problems. You get so much value for the price.

Magda and Dario are wonderful people and very good hosts! Everything was clean and everything what you need was in the house. We were 5 people and used 3 bedrooms. If we had questions it was easy to contact Dario and he was extremely helpful. a supermarket is 10 within walking distance and the beach approx. 45 Minutes. It is a bike available this is perfect.

We really had a great time at Madalenas place! The house is huge with three baths and three beds, all with access to the sunny, private deck and the really nice pool. The perfect spot for a summer vacation, with a lot of nice beaches close by and all necessary shops and restaurants in walking distance.

I'm very pleased. The owners are very attentive and made a great effort to communicate in my language. They were always attentive and I didn't need anything. The house is super clean and cozy. I loved the welcome gift. We will definitely repeat soon

Great location for seeing the Sintra area and the beautiful beaches nearby. Also, a micro climate in summer makes it cooler than the Lisbon area, so it's a nice spot to relax.

What a beautiful location, short walk to the city center, short walk to some stunning views, or just hang out by the pool. We would definitely stay again!!

Outside the climate that was very bad wind fog we really appreciated the spacious comfortable accommodation with everything you need to live at home and the more it is the small garden fortunately well sheltered and sunny. A car is absolutely necessary to enjoy the surroundings of the beaches of the Ericeira atmosphere and its restaurants Fortunately at 2 km there is a small food area very well stocked and above on the 1st floor a typical Portuguese restaurant where we eat very good fish at an unbeatable price Very quiet accommodation that I recommend but a little far from the centers

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Lisbon! From the very beginning, communication with the host was smooth, friendly, and welcoming – always helpful and responsive. The apartment itself is spotless, very well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect – peaceful and quiet. It’s an ideal place for a couple looking for a cozy and calm retreat in the city. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Very comfortable and spacious place, well decorated, definitely get a “homey” feel and perfect for a group of 4 with lots of luggage! The view to Lisbon from the terrace was gorgeous. Nice pool as well. Located in one of the preferred neighborhoods of Lisbon accessible to everything needed. Since we rented a car, I loved the private, secured parking garage connected to the place! A must if driving considering parking limitations in Lisbon!

Paolo made our stay very enjoyable. He is the best host. Super responsive and went above and beyond to get us into the apt early. Great location-extremely close to everything. Very walkable and convenient. Great space for a larger group with 4 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms and a very large comfortable living room. And if you are a tv person-biggest tv I’ve ever seen. Thank you Paolo for your graciousness, friendliness and all your recommendations. Also extra shoutout to Luan who checked us in at the property-super nice person and graciously came extremely early well ahead of check in time to accommodate our group. I can’t wait to come back.

Maria was the best host and offered exceptional hospitality during check-in with an infant. The place was walking distance to a nearby center with food and 20 minutes from the main center that home was clean and beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was wonderful, the location, the accommodation and the host. Ling was very kind at all times, giving very useful recommendations. When we return to Lisbon, we will definitely repeat.

Great host and apartment! The location is good and there are many nice restaurants and supermarket around the area. Will definitely come back again in our next visit in Lisbon.

Staying at Heinz's place was like “being at home.” In more than two months of stay, I appreciated the comfort of a large, comfortable house with a private garden!! Corroios is a quiet town but offers all the services. It may seem far from the center but, trust it is among the most connected in Margem Sul! You'll be spoiled for choice in which way to use! The Fertagus, a 10-minute walk (2 minutes by tram) takes you to Lisbon by passing the 25 de Abril Bridge. My favorite way was the tram (directly under the house, at all times, every 7-9 minutes - Casa do Povo station). When you arrive in Cacilhas (which I loved for the evocative sunsets at the Final Bridge) ferry to Cais do Sodré, and in less than 10 minutes you will be in the heart of Lisbon! Discovering the surroundings of Corroios (Almada, Costa da Caparica, Setubàl) has also allowed me to experience the least touristy part of Portugal, the one that made me fall in love with this country! Go to Heinz's place, you won't regret it.

The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.
