Family-friendly holiday rentals in Sintra

They were very friendly and always available for questions and answers. The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable, although the floor can be cold. They had good knifes and frying pans in the kitchen - amazing!🤩 ...and last but not least they have an amazing spa and great massages. I can gladly recommend it.

Lovely holiday house. Didi was our point of contact and she was very friendly and helpful. There were 7 of us, all adults and the house was ideal for us.

The place is indeed very well equipped and has lovely facilities. We didn’t use the pool, because it was too cold in April, but I am sure it is great in summer. Location is walkable distance to the beach, and we used an uber to get to the town. It is a lovely house and thank you to Vladimir for being so accommodating (I made a mistake in the booking when providing in the amount of guests, which he kindly disregarded). Vladimir also kindly provided us with a cot and a high chair for our toddler.

Really enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive. Tried to make sure we were comfortable. Great location. Fabulous coffee store just steps away.

We had a great stay at Chiho & Nuno’s place. The apartment is spacy and located in a quiet street. We also appreciated quick and helpsom communication during our stay. Would definitly reccomend this apartment when planning a trip to lisbon.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

Staying at Ana and Jorge’s place in Lisbon may be the best AirBnB experience I’ve had. They are super responsive and make sure you got in and settled. The listing is also very convenient to buses and metro, and doesn’t take a long time from the airport either. An ALDI and Auchan are nearby and the street is quiet at night. The listing was clean, comfortable, and was large enough that we felt we had enough personal space while we were there. But what really sets Ana and Jorge apart is how much they care. We were greeted with homemade food made by Ana and Jorge, left for us for when we arrived and they brought us something else to try later in our stay. It was all delicious and really shows how much they enjoy hosting guests. I highly recommend Ana and Jorge as hosts and this listing is perfect for a trip to Lisbon.

The villa was amazing - beautiful location, spacious, very clean, modern, well equipped and well kept pool and grounds. We were a group of three couples and all enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and views of the vineyards. The villa exceeded our expectations and we'd love to return in the future. Lina provided a very warm welcome and was helpful in answering any queries we had before our stay. Thank you very much, Lina!

Very nice, clean apartment: everything is perfect. The proximity of the train track can be annoying in the summer if you want to open the window at night.

We spent a few days in Nathy's apartment, which has a magnificent view of the ocean. The accommodation is impeccable and very well decorated . Nathy welcomed us very well on arrival and gave us all the necessary information to allow us to have a good stay. And also, we had a basket filled with sweets, wine, bread and other goodies. I recommend this very well located and exceptional accommodation with this magnificent view of the sea and 5 minutes' walk to the beach.

The view was absolutely amazing! Loved having coffee on the patio every morning and beautiful sunsets at night!

Ana's Villa was awesome for a family of 8! It had a perfect number of bedrooms and bathrooms, with a large family room and dinning room to fit us all. Everything was spotless! The outside patio and gardens were immaculate. It was handy to have a pool to ourselves when we wanted to relax. Having a washing machine was handy too. The location was great - walking distance to a large grocery store in a quiet neighbourhood. Being between the coast and the mountains, it was close and easy to get to from Lisbon and Sintra and also many great beaches and restaurants. Ana was amazing too! She communicated quickly and had on-line and personal suggestions for her Villa and things to do in the area. She even helped make dinner reservations for us for a special birthday dinner. We would definitely recommend staying at Ana's Villa!

Our second time here and we truly enjoyed it! The apartment looks like in the pictures and you have everything you need. It’s quite and you can reach the beach, supermarkets or Sintra forest within a few minutes by car. Everything was really clean and we mostly appreciated Manuelas kindness and communication. We hope we can come again!

We had a lovely stay in Sintra. The house is charming and worked perfectly for us as a family of five, including 3 grown-up sons. Joana was a good communicator and Rosa is generally around in the mornings. A beautiful location and not far from the old centre.

Sofia was a very proactive and friendly host. All key information were promptly provided days prior to check-in. Easy self-access with the instructions provided. Rooms were ready and property was clean by the time we arrived. It is a 10-20 minutes commute to certain shops at late hours, however, the privacy is worth its keep. There is supermarket super close by, for us was unfortunate due to the time we would arrive everyday at the property meant they were always closed, but those seeking a holiday, that would be no issue. Lovely spacious living room with doors that you see straight out to the swimming pool. As we were there mainly for business purposes, we did not manage to have usage of certain available amenities - but worth to those coming in for a holiday. Sofia was also always efficient in responding, regardless of time (unethical on my part to message pas midnight) nonetheless, she would respond right away. Beautiful home and an amazing host.

Nicole is a great personne, warming welcome and flexible. Always answering, very clever. We had a really good time, pleasure to stay here.

We are locals and rented Mariana's place while we put the finishing touches into our new home which was delayed. Mariana was extremely helpful and understanding with our shifting check in and check out requirements given constant changes with mover and builder schedules. Mariana was so friendly and responsive. She sent us wonderful information to make the most of the area. Since we live here we didn't need it, but anyone coming for a visit will get the best of the best of the local experience. The house was perfect. Great location, great distribution. Great light. The pool was refreshing fun. Everything better than in the pictures and the description. If we ever need to refer anyone to a place to stay in Colares, Mariana's place will be top of the list. Highly recommended....and I have stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world.

The pool and pool area is completely private which we loved. We had sole use of the pool and made the most of it! Maria Louisa was always on hand if you needed anything but respected our privacy which was so lovely. You can walk down the hill to the train station which goes one stop to Sintra old town or to Lisbon in the other direction. Trains are cheap. It’s a bit of a hill back up to the house from the station or the supermarket which wasn’t a problem for us but worth being aware. The house has a coffee machine and everything you need, although you may wish to bring pool towels. The pool area is set in a beautifully manicured garden and we spend lots of time here as a family. We hosted an intimate wedding at the Quinta and everyone loved it. It has nice views morning and night. The quinta is big to have some family stay over with us. Antonio is very responsive whenever we need help aswell. A little bit hard to find on google maps or uber/bolt, but you just need to be clear on instructions for guests coming. Sintra town is very closeby too, lots of parking space if you have car 😊

We traveled as a couple. It was a real moment of relaxation. Everything was set up by Alexandra to make us feel at home and to make sure we didn't miss anything. Alexandra is very attentive to our needs and is also very discreet. Everything is similar to the photos and descriptions. We had a fantastic time. We were a group of eight adults and five children between the ages of 7 months and 3 years. There was plenty of space and the swimming pool and sandpit were great. It was lovely to have the outdoor eating space to spend time relaxing, and there was all the practical stuff we needed - two dishwashers, lots of plates and bowls, multiple bathrooms. Sandra was very communicative throughout and made a lot of effort, including buying an extra high chair for us. We would happily stay again and recommend it for a group holiday with children.

The wine house lived up to our expectations, incredibly rustic and historic. Great warm bread and preserves to start each morning. Private and peaceful location. Diego is a great host!

A wonderful place. A peaceful setting, ideally located for restaurants, supermarket and beach. The pool is bigger then it looks on pictures. our children enjoyed the Airbnb. lots of space, secure grounds and a trampoline to keep them entertained. We enjoyed BBQs on the patio. The villa is cleverly designed so that nobody feels on top of each other. would definitely revisit
