Villa holiday rentals in Sintra

Our stay was wonderful. Luis was the quintessential host. We loved hanging out in the garden in the sunshine and moonshine. However, there was a bit of early morning street noise.

We loved this home- very convenient to Sintra and the beaches, wonderful cafe nearby, and charming comfortable home. Enjoyed the outdoor space for relaxing or dining. We would definitely stay again. Rosa was very kind and accommodating when our plans changed and we were able to book an additional night.

João is good host, we gave good indications of services and restaurants nearby, we left fresh fruit and water for arrival. The house is very nice, restored with very good taste and good qualities, a very nice and well-kept garden with barbecue and gazebo. The location is very convenient, close to the road and with easy parking. Good experience

Absolutely the perfect place. The roof terrace was amazing for morning coffee and sunbathing, while in the evening it was such a cozy place to drink a few super bocks. Inside was modern with a clean bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed.

We had a great stay at Luciano's rental which was welcoming, bright and comfortable...we felt at home. At the slightest request, Luciano responded in less than 5 minutes. Fontanelas is well located and allows beautiful walks in the surrounding cities. Everything was spotless just the time that passed too fast, there are so many beautiful things to discover...fortunately, there are the photos taken. We had a wonderful stay! The house was very pretty, perfectly clean, and offered a serene, peaceful atmosphere. It was just what we needed to relax and recharge. Everything was well prepared, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Our time spent in Portugal was amazing, and Vasco's location was perfect there was a view of the ocean and the surrounding mountains, and it was only a 5 mile ride to the ocean and the local town of Cascais and all the ocean front restaurants, will definitely visit again.

We can only give our very best recommendations. Beautiful house and surroundings as well as a very well equipped kitchen! Filipa was very responsive, flexible with check-in and check-out, and we felt very well looked after throughout our stay.

Amazing villa, breath taking views. The hosts were brilliant, very responsive and extremely helpful... even booking a dolphin experience for us and suggesting places and beaches to visit. Just be mindful as it can be cooler in this area but when the sun is shining, there's no better place to be. Thank you for having us!

The house was absolutely fantastic! It was easy to find, lovely restaurant and bar down by the beach, walking distance to smaller shop. Good floor plan of the house for a large group, lovely social areas both outside and inside. It worked well to get around by car via Bolt and Uber. The beach Praia Grande was a good distance away but is well worth a visit for surfing, sun, swimming, restaurants and cafes. The host recommended that we rent a car, but it worked well and was cheap by taxi. Sintra is also well worth a visit. The house and the local area have something called a microclimate, which meant that the weather was foggy in the morning and evening and the sun had a hard time breaking through for us there in May. The degrees differ by 10 degrees from what is shown in apps, the pool was smaller than what was perceived in the pictures but the house and the weekend stay was beyond the ordinary and well worth a visit!!

Quinta da Bella Vista exceeded expectations. Dinesh, who checked us in, truly set the mood for our elopement with welcoming jazz music, wine, and cheese. The space was much larger than we anticipated, perfect for our pre-wedding prep. We loved it so much, we added an extra day to soak it all in! Aline and Dinesh's hospitality went above and beyond – their responsiveness to our needs made everything seamless. We couldn't resist adding the delicious breakfast each day (highly recommend!), fueling our explorations of the charming town within walking distance. Evenings were spent enjoying deliveries via the Glovo app, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The Quinta itself is breathtaking – stunning grounds, incredible views, and beautiful architecture. It couldn't have been a more magical place to celebrate our elopement. Quinta da Bella Vista holds a very special place in our hearts, and we'll definitely be back for anniversaries and any other excuse we can find!

Beautiful house in a great location close to Sintra. Cat highly recommended to get around.

Excellent location, a few minutes’ walk from a fine beach with restaurants, waves, and surfing. Great well-equipped private villa with expansive grounds and a swimming pool. Rui and Helena are excellent hosts and provided great care and attention during our stay. Hope to return in the future.

This is a superb property for a group/ large family holiday. The pictures hardly do it justice and with the pool, padel court, bbq and pizza oven there is so much to entertain everyone during the stay. Elisa provided some great recommendations for the area and met us at the property for check in to ensure we settled in very quickly. The local beach at Magoito was only 8 mins drive away and food at Duna Mar was great so well worth a visit.

Our family had a wonderful time at the house. We loved the swimmingpool and the big garden. In the kitchen is everything you need for cooking. Special thanks to Sandra, the co-host. She made us feel very welcome! She responded quickly all the time and had the best tips for Sintra. She made our stay perfect💛

We felt very at home and Ângela was a lovely and friendly host. We wanted a relaxing peaceful week by the pool with the odd day out and it was perfect for that. The house is a lovely size with everything you need and very comfortable. The pool was great, we were very happy and sad to leave when our week was up. Great supermarket near by and a lovely restaurant up the hill, all walkable. The sea and Sintra a short drive away.

I feel completely rejuvenated! I came to relax, eat and hike and that's exactly what I got. You can follow the coast in either direction for miles, my pictures are incredible but they don't even do the scenery justice. We rented a car for the quick 40 minute ride to Lisbon. The home is beautiful, had everything we could possibly need and a quick little ride to the grocery for anything extra. If you need to get away from the busy and crazy this is the place!

This house worked out very well for two families with kids. It's very big and spread out with lots of sleeping options. There's a tiny bit of wear and tear and we did have to buy/bring all of our own basic kitchen supplies like spices, oils, sugar, salt and pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, shower soaps. But we loved that the house provided beach supplies like chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas and yoga mats. Nothing much in walking distance but several excellent beaches and places to eat within a few miles. The pool and ping pong table were fantastic and we would definitely recommend this place for a group of travelers. We had a fabulous time. :-)

We loved our week in Laura’s house! We arrived very late in the evening but that was no issue at all because we could collect the key via lockbox. The house and property looked even better than expected from the photos! Everything is well maintained and renovated, but still with some south European Oceanside Charme. The size of the house was perfect for 6 adults (3 couples) with its two bathrooms. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The pool is not heated (we obviously knew this in advance) but after a couple minutes you get used to it :D We had everything we could ask for in and around the house. As mentioned in other reviews there are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood. I don’t think they were as loud as people make it out to be. They are not in the direct neighboring houses so it is a rather distant sound I think. I didn’t hear them at night. If so you would just need to close the window. All in all it was a perfect stay at Laura’s and we’d do it again!

Excellent house, location, facilities and host - couldn’t be better.

We had a fantastic time. We were a group of eight adults and five children between the ages of 7 months and 3 years. There was plenty of space and the swimming pool and sandpit were great. It was lovely to have the outdoor eating space to spend time relaxing, and there was all the practical stuff we needed - two dishwashers, lots of plates and bowls, multiple bathrooms. Sandra was very communicative throughout and made a lot of effort, including buying an extra high chair for us. We would happily stay again and recommend it for a group holiday with children.
