Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

Hausberger Alpine Lodge

100-year-old log cabin, which was demolished in the neighboring village in 2008 and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Particular care was taken in the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, old wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The cozy little house (75 m²) served as our residence for 10 years.

The apartment is very nice and comfortable, the hall and the room were comfortable and well equipped. I would like to mention some simple observations: The bathroom does not have a floor drain, so the water from the hand rinse or the shower easily floods the bathroom. There was also no body soap or bathing tools, which we often find available in Airbnb apartments. The kitchen was tidy and had a coffee machine, oven and pots We received the key from their office in Zilamsi, and they asked us to provide a deposit of 150 euros, which was surprising, but they returned it 3 days after we left. The apartment is on the first floor and its balcony overlooks the parking lot, so those who prefer complete privacy may be bothered by this. In general, the apartment is clean and beautiful, and the hosts They were very classy and respectful. Thank you

Beautiful flat in a very peaceful and quiet area just outside Kaprun with a view to Kitzenhörn. Definitely more suitable if you have a car if you are there for skiing. It is a very steep walk for ski boots and carrying skis if you are going to use a bus for transport but is doable and we didn't mind as we were there for a good workout. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, but don't forget to bring your own shower gel and shampoo. Good communication with the host. Recommended!

Everything was the best. The hosts were loved, available, and helpful all the time. The apartment was very nice, clean and above all well equipped. Ski bus and stop under the apartment, accessibility to the best ski places. I recommend it with all my heart, we will definitely visit this place and these great hosts!
