Great communication, and a lovely place to stay for the night which exceeded our expectations.

We had a phenomenal time! The whole house was spotless and the kitchen was so well equipped. We cooked all meals at home and had lovely dinners outside. The garden is absolutely stunning and a dip in the pond was a great thing to do every morning. Thank you so much Ian, we hope to come back again!

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

A wonderfully peaceful lodge and super helpful host, Abi. Deceptively spacious inside and beautiful sea views from the terrace. Terrific walks right from the front door too, wouldn’t stay anywhere else on future visits!

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

Amazing stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Great location and super easy check-in. The host was friendly and responsive—would definitely book again!

Our stay in the caravan was lovely , We loved the personal touches and a welcome card on our arrival Lovely view from the veranda and the home was clean and tidy and welcoming Would highly recommend and would definitely be wanting to again if down this way Easy bus into the main town centre and walkable local shop and beach nearby

We booked a 3 night stay in the week. Harry’s place was fantastic. He supplied enough breakfast items to feed a few people, which was such a bonus . The house was lovely, really homely and comfortable. Our pooch was catered for too. Some really beautiful walks from the house into the woods, which we all enjoyed. The coast was about 30mins drive, which we did visit. One thing to note, some of the local restaurants/takeaways were not open until midweek which wasn’t a deal breaker but good to know. The Pig at Combe was a great place to visit and eat, dogs allowed in the Folly, highly recommend. Communication from Harry was great and we did get to meet him as they only live next door. We would definitely like to visit again.

Had a fabulous week in Anne’s Place, house was just the ideal size for us (2 adults, a teenage daughter and 2 dogs) and we would still have had plenty of room if there’d been 5 of us. The house is very well equipped and has everything that you could possibly need during your stay. We spent the majority of our time in the garden room it was lovely to be able to open the bifold doors fully on a sunny day. We really enjoyed walking along the river, down to Sidmouth and did this several times during our stay, it took around 25 minutes to get to the seafront and was mostly flat and shady under the trees - ideal on a warm summers day. There was plenty to do both within walking distance and a short drive in the car, we just wish we’d booked 2 weeks instead of one!

We had a lovely few days, property was extremely well furnished, very comfortable and clean and we had a very friendly welcome. Excellent base for enjoying Sidmouth and the surrounding area.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotlessly clean, bright, and beautifully kept — with a lovely welcome pack and plenty of local information provided. The beds were really comfortable, and both the bathroom and kitchen were modern and well-equipped, with all the essentials thoughtfully included (like salt, pepper, foil, etc.). The location couldn’t be better — just a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach and close to a charming high street full of shops, cafés, and pubs. It was also really easy to find and check in. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made everything feel effortless. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

Thank you Megan for such a lovely time spent in your cottage. Littletouch with the congratulations card was really lovely. Beautiful, traditional yet updated cottage with plenty of walking routes, quaint little spaces to explore, enjoy and relax. Shrimp cottage was a stunning little place for me and my partner to share and enjoy our first days of married life. the area is home from home to me and a firm chosen location to spend time relaxing whilst enjoying the picturesque surroundings. Shrimp cottage was welcoming, comfortable and a beautiful little place for a quiet period away from the norm. If you're up for walking there's some great paths and routes to take but be mindful if you're not ok with the stairs, beautifully maintained but definitely some awkward stairs where traditional characters sit. Not ideal for those who can't do well with more than a stair or two but perfect for us! We will be keeping this in mind for our next adventures on this part of the coastline.

The Townhouse was a perfect property for our family holiday. Spacious, clean well maintained property, with everything you could possibly need .Just off the sea front. Sidmouth is a lovely typical seaside town

We absolutely loved our stay here ! . It was beautifully decorated and garden was so peaceful and well maintained. We really enjoyed our selfs so much we requested to stay more nights .

The annexe was very lovely, well furnished, quality bed linen and towels, bed was super comfy 🙂 fitted kitchen with everything you would need for your stay. Donkey sanctuary is always worth a visit, unlike most attractions it’s free, but please do donate if you do go, they do a fantastic job. The annexe is set back off quite a busy road but we couldn’t hear any traffic noise. We didn’t actually meet Monica during our stay but she is very quick to respond to any queries. We did however meet her helpful and very pleasant husband John. All in all great accommodation and lovely hosts Julie & Neil

Just got back from a lovely few days break in this beautiful cottage. James is a very welcoming and friendly host and along with the information book in the cottage we had everything we needed to know. The cottage was just perfect and the outside and surrounding garden is like a scene from a fairytale. If you’re looking for peace and relaxation , then this is definitely the place. Inside the cottage , there are lots of beautiful original features alongside more modern amenities. Everything that you could possibly need to make your stay more comfortable has been carefully thought about by the hosts. It’s in a great location to get to places like Torquay, Dartmouth and Brixham. All in all a fabulous place to stay for some much needed R&R.

We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth’s cottage – truly an oasis to relax and soak in Devon’s beautiful nature. The space is neat, clean, and spacious, yet still incredibly cosy and inviting. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed – especially with the delicious homemade flapjacks and thoughtful selection of local products waiting for us. Everything is so well thought through – from the comfortable bed that guarantees a great night's sleep to the well-equipped kitchen. We loved spending slow mornings enjoying coffee on the balcony, listening to the birds, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Elizabeth is a fantastic host – friendly, attentive, and full of great local tips. It’s clear how much love and care she puts into the cottage, which really feels like a home away from home. The location is perfect – peaceful and remote enough to fully unwind. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a restful, charming stay in Devon!

We booked this lovely house on the edge of Sidmouth as a base for visiting family. It was perfect, lovely and modern with lots of space downstairs and very comfortable bedrooms upstairs. We found it convenient for driving into Sidmouth for the shops, restaurants and beach plus accessible for our family further inland. It was very clean and everything in good order, very helpful instructions for using the hob and opening windows etc. lots of child friendly touches - our kids are older so we didn’t need the baby things but the nightlight and books/toys were welcome. I loved the decor and style of the house and the garden. We had a lovely trip and will hopefully stay here again.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

Bar Lodge is just stunning. The accommodation and decor were both great but it was the views from every level that it made it so very special (and a very friendly and inquisitive robin). Being on the south west coast path, we were expecting good walking but the friendliness of the tractor and ferry guys and other locals we met meant every outing was even better. Annie was proactive and accommodating from beginning to end and the property was clean and beautifully presented when we arrived. Thank you, we can't wait to come back!

We loved our stay at Gemma’s place. It suited our needs perfectly. Great location as it’s walkable to the beach and town. Spotless and very comfortable. We really appreciated the flexible check in too. Would highly recommend.

Such a lovely house and gardens. Situated on a road but you cant tell once you're in the back garden whxih is a sun trap with bith a fenced off grass area and a patio with settees. The house itself is really stylish and spacious with all cookware you might need plus amenities like washing up liquid and soap. The village location is beautiful with lots of walks straight from the door and a pub and shop within 2 mins walk. I would definitely reccomend a stay at Sarah's house.
