Beach house holiday rentals in Sidmouth

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

An incredible resort, wonderful residence and perfect host. Sarah ensured that the time we had in Beer with the family was memorable, easy to facilitate and she has been a joy to engage with. Can’t recommend this holiday highly enough

We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Chesil Cove . Our third stay at Greyjoys. Comfortable, clean, everything you need is provided. An ideal spot for discovering this area. We’ll be coming back again soon.

The Lighthouse is a quirky little place really thoughtfully designed and decorated…..a small but adorable little find!! Right in the town centre and just a step from the beach….perfect! Host very responsive when needed, and had left lots of thoughtful ‘bits’ around the place…..including fresh milk in the fridge (cow & oat!)!! Would definitely recommend this place for one or two guests and plan on returning sometime!!!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . I wanted to share our recent experience staying at Heatherdown in Croyde, where we celebrated the 80th Birthdays of two family members. Heatherdown was absolutely perfect, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for our family gathering. One of the highlights was the stunning location. The scenic views of Croyde's picturesque coastline were breathtaking from the house. We enjoyed walks to the beach and the proximity to the local amenities made it easy for us to explore. The host was always available to answer any questions prior to and during our stay. Overall, our stay in Croyde was a truly memorable experience as we celebrated this special milestone. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful memories we created and would highly recommend Heatherdown to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in a charming beautiful location. We had the best of week's at April's cottage. it's very sweet and placed in a super location. All the facilities are as listed, the view is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The cottage is well situated, and I highly recommend the fish shop which can be found at the top of the road two minutes walk away. We just had the most relaxing of stays and will definitely make a return visit.

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

It was an amazing stay, the place is apart of a big holiday ket that has a restaurant and spa. It exceeded expectations! All the staff at cary arms were really great and approachable. People will need to realise in advance how steep the hill is to get to the holiday homes. I had difficulty driving my car back up so Chris and Harry from the cary arms helped me out with that and I tree really appreciated it.

Lovely place and we had a great stay. Only downside was that the pool wasn’t heated, Maria let us know a few days beforehand that there was an issue with the boiler.

A wonderfully peaceful lodge and super helpful host, Abi. Deceptively spacious inside and beautiful sea views from the terrace. Terrific walks right from the front door too, wouldn’t stay anywhere else on future visits!

location was absolutely perfect for a relax and a decent walk everyday, we paddle boarded up the coast both ways and the scenery was stunning and finished most days with a swim in the pool. if you're after a close too everything place too stay this isn't the place for you but if you're looking for a break away from the world then this will tick all your boxes 🤗

A well positioned, clean, tidy and comfortable caravan on a fabulous site right by the beach with plenty to do. Caravan was lovely with everything we needed.

Lovely place to stay. Brilliant location for exploring the south coast. Clean, comfy, with everything including the beach within a few minutes walk of the front door. Couldn’t fault it, hope to come back in the future.

What a fantastic discovery! We had to book last minute because our original accommodation fell through on the morning of our departure. After searching on Airbnb, we found this property, and we couldn't believe our luck! The hosts were so quick to respond to our request to book and incredibly accommodating, letting us check in early at no extra cost and even offering to pick us up from the station. The house is stunning—tastefully decorated, fresh, and impeccably clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the place was spotless, and the quality of the furnishings and accessories was top-notch. Great short stay in central Topsham. Katie was a great host - great communication and the cake on arrival was a lovely touch.

We absolutely loved our stay at Boundary cottage! It’s beautifully designed with gorgeous high quality interiors. It was just right for us - two adults and two children. Everything was provided for a child friendly stay (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, kids tableware). The cottage is compact but has made the most of all space for useful storage, it had everything we needed. Highlights for us were the beautiful bed linen, the gorgeous bathroom with uninterrupted views into the fields with the cows and the lovely walk straight out of the front door down the farm track. Our kids adored the cows and the little play area was a welcome occasional distraction!

A great little cottage in walking distance from the sea

The garden was AMAZING. We trekked the back yard to the sea which was amazing for us but will not be for everyone, as it is a tricky walk through...but lovely. Like and endless fairy garden/forest. The local town was nice. lots of room in the home which would be great for larger parties as well. Everything was clean, beds/bedding were comfortable, had everything we needed, and we enjoyed ourselves. My favorite was the deck and the main floor bedroom window seat!!!!! With those side windows open, that window seat with a good cup of coffee or that deck with the same....priceless!!! But that garden....endless and beautiful.
