Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Shenandoah Valley

Absolutely loved this space. The location is great and allows for exploration of the city. The space itself was clean and spacious. My favorite piece was having access to the gym within the Fairmount hotel (if im not mistaken). Lastly, host(s) are extremely responsiveness. I had questions about the property prior to booking as i was booking extremely last minute and I received a quick response.

Location was fantastic and Mitchell was great to work with. The apartment was very clean. The floors were squeaky, but that can be expected in a house of this vintage. Overall, great host, location and property!

The space was very comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed dinner at Rock City Cafe after a long day of driving! It was very easy to relax here, and we appreciated the conveniences and amenities. Hailey’s instructions were very clear and made checking in and out very easy. Highly recommended, we would stay again!

Jennifer’s place was wonderful! We had a great stay here, and it was in a nice part of town. Plenty of places to eat as well. The apartment was as described.

Uche is such a personable host. considering that I arrived late in the night to the apartment, I felt so welcome with his thoughtful gifts he had left for me😇. The apartment is very spacious and lovely, and kitted with just about everything one needs. And the neighbourhood is good for walking, and felt very safe. Uche was literally a message away, and I felt waited upon. I enjoyed my stay in this part of Alexandria, moreso because of Uche's detailed list of suggested places to go he created. I look forward to staying right there again when I come.back next year. Thanks Uche!

We had a fantastic stay! The location is excellent easy access to dining, shopping, and Washington DC. The place was very clean, and the instructions for check-in and check-out were clear and helpful. The only minor inconvenience was the 10 am check-out time, as most Airbnb and hotels typically check out at 11 am. Overall, a great experience and a very responsive host. Would definitely recommend!

Great location close to the arena. Much better than having to drive home 2 hours at midnight. Saw deer and a chipmunk in the yard so that was cool. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Thank you so much for making our stay easy and pleasant. So many times, we've walked into a rental and looked around with disappointment. Not here! This was a spacious, yet cozy condo with great views to wake up to. I even had great cell service with AT&T! Michael was extremely responsive and his detailed directions made checkin a breeze, especially after traveling on motorcycles for hours. Lots of linens and extra blankets. I can't say enough about our experience. We will definitely be back!

Great place, great communication from hosts, great central location. Stayed 1 adult and 2 kids, and the bed and pull-out couch were great. The little kitchen is little but gets the job done and allowed us to have a few meals in the room instead of going out. Thanks for a great stay!

Andy was very responsive and gave clear instructions. We had been at this resort a few times in the past and the unit we received was very nicely appointed and updated. We had all amenities and were super close to the indoor pool and gym. Comfortable.

Love this clean calm space-the balcony was wonderful. Mark was super responsive, checked in on us and we had everything we needed-especially in the kitchen. Great location for walking to restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect, charming, clean, orderly, quiet, & peaceful home away from home! Really, the pics don’t do it justice! The owners thought of everything to make it homey and relaxing - and we really appreciated that. Plus they were very responsive and helpful, too. Hubby, daughter & I brought our own stack of books to read, but we couldn’t help but read a few from the lovely library of books available in the home, too - which was a nice surprise. The screened in porch and nook in the master bedroom were perfect reading spots. :) Thank you to the owners for sharing your charming home! We loved our stay and will happily return next time we’re in need of a quiet, peaceful retreat to recharge our batteries!

This home was the perfect location in Gettysburg to walk nearly anywhere in the area. Additionally, the house had enough space and amenities (indoor and outdoor) needed for a large group visiting town. The host was very responsive and the house was everything seen in the photos and more. Don't forget to bring a few coins to add onto the stone wall!

Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, lots of hikes around, groceries not far. Large house, comfortable for bigger family, enough plushy towels, great clean hot tub, and well stocked kitchen. Aleksandar communicates well, though we did not need to reach out for anything. Def need 4x4 to come up, our Rav handled it well. first night took us a while to find the exact house, but was easy if you come with daylight first time. thank you Aleksandar. hope to visit again this or another property of yours.

We had a comfortable stay at Joseph’s house, which is located in a nice neighborhood with stores and markets nearby. He was responsive to all communications. The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a variety of coffees, sodas and snacks provided. I would consider staying at his house again if the need arises.

This place was amazing! Beautiful secluded house with well stocked kitchen, lots of living spaces, great hiking trails….and the view is incredible!!! Host was responsive, friendly, and the house was filled with all the amenities you could want. Will definitely stay again.
