The apartment is located next to Gimle farm Botanical Garden as well as within walking distance from Kristiansand city center, swimming beaches and hiking areas in the Jegersberg city field. Short distance to public transport and 12 minutes drive to Kristiansand Dyrepark.

Hytten ligger nydelig til ved Nidelva 7km fra Arendal og 15km fra Grimstad. Nidelva har 3 utløp til sjøen hvor et renner ut ved Arendal sentrum og de to andre renner ut mot Torungen fyr. Det er lite bevegelse i elven om sommeren siden hytten ligger på havnivå.
