Lake house holiday rentals in Seattle

This home is THE place when you need a true vacation! First, the directions were very clear and the check-in was seamless. Second, the landscaping is so lush and vibrant. You feel like you are stepping away from the world. Third, inside is fantastic! From comfy beds, beautiful artwork, plentiful towels and linens, to absolutely everything you could ever need, the home was perfect! But most of all, the view! Can you beat watching a bald eagle fish right in front of you, with Mt. Rainier in the background? Amazing! I would rent here again without any hesitation. Thank you for helping to make our vacation just perfect!

2nd visit to this wonderful house. Great for families with teens or young adults - between the pool table, the kayaks and the space itself. We'll be back!

This is a nice, well equipped basement apartment in a quiet area about a 30 minute drive to Seattle. Beds (2 bedrooms with one bed in each, plus an air mattress) are confortable but smaller than queen and tight for two people. The location is residential and fairly far from attractions but the price is a great value for the area making it overall a 5 star stay!

This place is magical. It has a panoramic view of the lake, and wildlife galore. We watched two Canada geese families just feet from the windows, and duck parents with their ducklings shared the yard with the geese, deer, and a bunny. The home is spacious and nicely decorated. I did a lot of cooking while there, and I found all utensils I needed. Thanks, Michelle, for keeping pantry items left by previous guests! Our 4 day stay was delightful in this tranquil setting, and we would love to return.

The place was amazing. The host was very easy to get ahold of . The place was clean .

The location was private and secluded, the yard looked great, the view was beautiful and amazing! There was enough outdoor furniture for everyone. The kitchen had enough pots and pans and gadgets to make cooking meals possible. We have stayed in places where the kitchen was not equipped for that. There were a good number of blankets and pillows. Thomas responded to my questions pretty fast.

Lisa has gone above and beyond to make her guests feel at home. From the welcome snacks to the small sunscreen and other items in the bathrooms, she has put a lot of thought and planning to ensure guests have an exceptional experience at the lake. The kitchen has some of the nicest cooking tools that I have seen in an Airbnb and we were able to happily cook most meals in. We stayed three nights and enjoyed kayaking, hiking in the local area, as well as eating at local restaurants. It was a perfect vacation with our kids and we created many happy memories. One of the most unexpected surprises was the floating dock on the lake: my daughter spent two hours daily playing on the dock, jumping back and forth between the deck and the floating dock. It felt like a giant water bed. I wouldn't hesitate to book this place, I cannot recommend it enough.

Loved the rooftop deck - especially on a sunny Seattle day. Communal sitting area is on the smaller side but that’s what the deck is for and bedrooms, location and kitchen were great. Close to campus, Wallingford, Ballard, green lake neighborhoods. Thank you.

Came here with 2 of my friends, incredible spot if you are looking to be close to beautiful mountains and hikes , we were about 15 minutes from major towns and grocery stores, woke up to the lake and Mountain View which was awesome! The spot itself did exactly what we needed, we kayaked caught some trout and had a good spot to sleep every night . Only thing I would change is the futon pull out couches are not the comfiest, we are in our 20s so we were perfectly fine. 10/10 would stay here again

Mum’s is a beautiful, comfortable, relaxing stay. The house is so well equipped, clean and the lakefront can’t be beat! Tracy was so helpful and truly concerned that we had what we needed during our stay. We really hope to return to this special home with good vibes!

We stayed in this place for 52 days. It worked very well for our family of 4 and a small dog. It had plenty of beds, the sheets and towels were very nice quality. The place was roomy and we were comfortable. We missed having a TV in the upstairs because the dog was not allowed in the downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, silverware, utensils, etc. There was a gas grill that was nice and an extra propane tank for use when we ran out. It was a quick switch and we appreciated this. It was cold for the area when we were there and the heated kitchen floors and bathroom floors were amazing. There was plenty of parking for our 2 vehicles and a trailer. From the description it was unclear if we could use the garage which we could not. There were several doors to the outside with ample deck and patio area. We needed to extend our state a week and they were flexible for us which was helpful.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Sarah’s and really love her house. It’s within walking distance of a park and the store. And close to our favorite hikes. We played many games of corn hole and utilized the hot tub. The house is well stocked with plenty of plates, cutlery, towels, cozy blankets and more. I’m sure we’ll be back.

I absolutely loved the place. We weren't blessed with great weather for our winter stay but it was cozy and wonderful anyway. when the sky did finally clear up for us the view was absolutely beautiful. I loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again.

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway from the city for me and a couple of my friends. There was lots of space and the house was very clean with lots of bowls and plates and other kitchen cooking items which was helpful! Heather was very responsive and provided great instructions for the Ferry. I would definitely recommend this house to other friends and family!

Greenlake is one of my favorite spots in Seattle and the house was in easy walking distance to so much!

James place was a pleasure to stay in, it was cleaned had everything we needed and more for a beautiful weekend! Bonus points for having more than one selection to watch other than Netflix thank you again!

We spent our christmas holiday for 10 days at Sam's property with my two grandkids and my daughter and her husband. It was absolutely magical. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and cold plunged! The kids loved the house and literally cried when we had to leave. The backyard is perfect for kids. We really gave the fireplace a workout. It is a really beautiful wood burning (can't find that too often) fireplace that added to the coziness of the home. The layout of the home is perfect for families. It has a great room that allows you to see everything going on which is very relaxing when travelling with a 3 and 4 year old. The kitchen has spacious countertops and top end appliances. The home has 3 - yes 3 - bathrooms that are all full bathrooms with showers or tub. The view from the house is outstanding. I will miss waking up to that view with my coffee. I would highly recommend. Sam - thank you for helping make this stay perfect!

A small but lovely space perfect for two adults looking for a romantic stay in Seattle! The bathroom amenities were incredible, "spa" is a great description. My only disclaimer would be that if you have any kind of mobility issue, this location would be difficult to support your needs. It's at the top of a very steep incline, with a pavers through a garden path to reach the entrance. The bathroom has a small step up, enough to trip on if you're not aware.

This place was exactly what we needed for our anniversary getaway! Clean, easy, beautiful! They thought of all the things for comfort!

Great place in a nice neighborhood. The condo is exactly as pictured and the owners have thought of everything to make you comfortable. I am very picky about the places I rent and this one was perfect. It is within walking distance to the marina which is what I was looking for. I would definitely rent there again.

We stayed at the Blue Heron House for a week. Mason was an excellent host - very responsive. The house was lovely and had plenty of space for two adult couples. The location was ideal for sight seeing around Seattle, Mt Ranier, and Snoqualmie Pass. Great stay, great value!
