Join me, a local data nerd, naturalist and bestselling author, for a stroll through Capitol Hill as we explore this charming neighborhood and its notable street trees. • We’ll begin our adventure at the locally beloved Macrina Bakery on 19th Avenue, where you’ll receive a map I’ve illustrated of the eight different trees we'll visit, along with a brief overview. • On our tree walk through the beautiful residential streets of Capitol Hill, we’ll stop at each tree to learn how to identify it and distinguish it from other species. • You’ll have a chance to see notable trees, including the city’s widest maple street tree (a native bigleaf maple), the widest sugar and silver maple street trees, and the widest giant sequoia street tree in Seattle. You’ll leave with a renewed sense of wonder, a mile of nature therapy, and a newfound appreciation for the more than 700 tree species that adorn the Emerald City. Back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the music world turned its spotlight on Seattle, where bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam were blowing minds and speakers with grunge rock. I'll guide you around my neighborhood, the epicenter for this music scene. • We'll meet up at Bon Voyage Vintage, my store, where you'll have a chance to dress up in the fashion of the grunge era, and I'll talk about how the Seattle grunge scene erupted. • Then we'll embark on a walking tour of Pioneer Square, stopping in at grunge landmarks like the OK Hotel, featured in the 1992 film Singles, and the Central Saloon, the site of Nirvana’s first Seattle show. • We'll also stop at Nord Alley, where we'll re-create a famous Nirvana photo with you in your flannel shirt and ripped jeans. Before we part ways, I'll give you a map of more Seattle rock landmarks so you can continue to explore grunge history.

This unique experience teaches about caring for the farm animals with lots of holding and petting. Wear proper shoes and old clothing, be prepared to get dirty! Chef Tour of Pike Place Market

We will take you on a culinary tasting adventure of Pike Place Market. We will be stopping at 9 different artisanal vendors; learning about local production and tasting your way through the flavors of the Northwest. Other things to note: The tour takes place rain or shine. Please email if you have dietary restrictions. Not all of our routes stop at the same places in Pike Place! We do book private tours for 9-16 people. Please direct message us to learn more. Gratuity is not included in the price. Our team also conducts a, more off the beaten path, tour on Fridays and Saturdays of South Lake Union. There are small bites over many stops and limited places to sit down. This experience requires a medium physical fitness level due to hills, stairs and uneven terrain. We do cover some distance and the market is crowded during the Summer. If you have to drive and park please leave a lot of extra time in the high season. The lots do fill up. Lastly, due to our tight schedule and wanting to show you as much of the market during a short time, we don't have time to shop during the tour. We encourage you to come back after the tour with your discount card to make purchases.

This is an ever-changing and high-concept cocktail and/or mocktail workshop (aka. laboratory) for those with 0 to 100 levels of experience. Unconventional, not a class; learn through experimentation! Hike the Gorgeous Trails in Washington

First, we will decide on the day's hike based on your hiking experience and what you'd like to see (mountains, waterfalls, lakes, etc). After we pick our destination, we will drive to the trail where we'll stretch to ensure we don't pull a muscle and then get right into it. Forest hike to Twin and Snoqualmie Falls

This half day tour is a combination of a moderate 2-hour hike (also a few inclines for 7 minutes) to the Twin Falls close up and a visit to the famous Snoqualmie Falls which we drive right up to. I will pick you up in downtown Seattle and drive eastward for about 30 minutes until we arrive at the trailhead. We will hike in old growth forest along Snoqualmie River to Twin Falls and the Upper Falls (1.4 miles), which is a beautiful cascade of waterfalls. After the hike we will drive through North Bend, where the diner from the popular tv show "Twin Peaks" is located and through the historic logging town. Snoqualmie. The locomotives of the time are still on the railroad tracks and the old depot from the year 1890 is in use till this day. We stop to view the Snoqualmie Falls of 270 feet - followed by driving along Borst Lake, where Mount Si is reflected in the often still lake - and then drive back to downtown Seattle.

Tiny Hearts Homestead

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION before booking to make sure this is the experience for you and you are prepared. When you get here we will immediately go into the goat, mini horse, mini donkey, mini cow and pig pasture and love on them. We can also feed the Alpacas and Chickens if they are hungry. While visiting I will be actively working in the fields, but am always ready to answer question you may have. Because I am an animal sanctuary I take in all animals. Most are super loving, but some require special instruction to interact with. The cow can be pushy and potentially knock kids over. They will secured to prevent this. Parents please help kids follow the rules so everyone remains safe. Please wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind a dirty on, especially in the rainy season. Tall waterproof Boot are VERY recommended. There is thick mud to walk through in the wet month. This is a true animal farm. Poop, mud, and dirt are apart of it. We do birthday parties and other private events in the fair weather months.
