We cannot say enough about Katie’s cottage! The setting, the cottage and location are perfect! Lovely, welcoming and just spectacular! With a castle ruins right behind you! If we ever make it back to Scotland, this is where you’ll find us!

Really lovely large house in a beautiful setting, perfect for dog walks and with access to the coast. Huge garden with multiple lovely seating areas.

We have stayed at Black Rocks several times and have never been dissapoined. Loren is lovely and very responsive. The village is very welcoming and we would highly recommend the Anchor Hotel for food and local atmosphere. A very special place, just perfect!

We loved our stay at Scott’s place. Unlike anywhere we’ve been before with the RGB lights and black interior. It was very spacious and practical. Partner loved the walk in wardrobe! The bed and pillows were certainly comfortable, probably the most comfortable Airbnb I’ve stayed in. And the hot tub was bliss, very hot and jets were very powerful. Overall had everything you needed for a couple days stay and id definitely recommend!

What stunning views and such a tranquil location. Loved our stay and hosts were so accommodating when we were a little late and they opened up for our grocery delivery driver! We are a family of four with a dog and loved using the enclosed garden, bbq and fire pit. Beds are comfortable and showers are super. Even the sofa bed is great! Would stay again. David's place was our favourite during this one week holiday in Scotland. The location is amazing and seeing the water from the livingroom and bedroom windows was wonderful. However, what made it stand apart from other accommodations was the interior design: every single space inside the house is tasteful and cosy, and we felt at home from the moment we walked in. Everything was clean and the quality of towels, soaps and shower gels are five star hotel level. David and Amanda are great hosts, very friendly and thoughtful, and it is evident that the comfort of their guests is their priority - also, we were delighted to meet them in person. We were sorry to leave after only one day there and will be happy to go back when next in Scotland.

Our week at The Stables is one of the best holidays we've ever had. Laura and Ronnie we're so welcoming and the accommodation is idyllic. It was such a relaxing week in a stunning area. There were plenty of walks to do with our boys (dogs) and resident Bertie made them feel right at home. We're still missing Bertie now!! I think I asked Ronnie for local recommendations everyday and he was always so happy to help. We'd highly recommend Nick Nairn's for a meal and takeaway pizza! The Stables was impeccably clean, perfectly equipped for our stay and an all round great spot. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Clover Cottage was absolutely magical. The house is private, nestled in gorgeous Scottish countryside, perfect for long walks with the dogs and really, truly escaping. The house was incredibly cozy, and we loved the hot tub. The nearest shops are a bit of a drive, but we just stocked up and nestled in. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for some peace and quiet!

Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

Our 1st time at Cruggleton Lodge - though we have stayed at the relatively adjacent High Lodge several times. As at HL before, we had an idyllic week - which the facilities at CL provided an excellent foundation for. CL is secluded, set in the edge of woodlands, with breath-taking views out to sea. The walk through the woods down to Garlieston starts literally outside the door. Woods containing deer, hares and a wide variety of bird species. Have already booked again!

A group of 8 family and friends stayed here for a couple of nights for a concert at Murray Field,excellent location for both concert and socialising,shops close too,Audrey was so helpful with checking in and any questions we had,would definitely stay here again.

We voelde ons onmiddellijk thuis in de Eastwood lodge. Het was schoon in het huis en alle basisbenodigdheden waren aanwezig. Vanuit de lodge hebben we diverse uitstapjes gemaakt en op een regenachtige dag hebben we gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad in het hotel in Blairgowrie. Het is een heerlijk rustige plek midden in de natuur en naast een golfbaan, waar je geen last van ondervindt. Ashley reageerde ontzettend snel op onze berichten. Ik kan deze plek van harte aanbevelen.

Jacqui was absolutely fantastic, so friendly and so helpful and kind felt at home and so comfortable the place was spotless the hot-tubs were placed perfectly and got your own privacy with beautiful views. 10/10 will be back

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s cosy holiday caravan! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. The caravan was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A special thank you to Mary for being such an attentive and thoughtful host—especially for quickly refilling the gas cylinders when needed. It made such a difference and showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. Mary, you’re the best host we’ve ever had 😀, and we’d absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended! This was another very pleasant, peaceful and beautiful stay of many, while working on a project in Aberdeenshire. I finally had the chance to swim in their private pool on the estate due to my work load, and it was a soothing relaxing evening. The bird song is a wonderful way to wake up in their cosy bed and warm cottage. Thank you again. Matilda and brown dog.

Very relaxing and peaceful stay with amazing close up views of wildlife and beautiful views. Many deer, squirrels and hundred of bird species right outside the windows. Beautiful walks nearby too. Very comfortable and warm place, a home from home! Andrew is a lovely host, great contact. We’ll definitely be booking again.

My wife and I were initially attracted by the view over the Firth of Clyde. The apartment was very comfortable and cosy and not lacking in space. In spite of being on the main road, it is set back and the bedroom is to the rear, so very peaceful with a view over the back garden. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with more than a few basics to get you started. The supermarket is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Patricia is a great host.

Wunderbares Haus an idyllischer Lage. Absolute Ruhe und Privatsphäre. Top ausgestattete Küche und schöne Zimmer mit Aussicht in die grüne Natur und die Schafherden. Fasane und Hasen auf den Feldern-für uns ein Highlight! Wir waren mit 2 Kindern dort und würden sofort wieder hier übernachten- nächstes mal länger! We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Ardormie farm cottage. The views are amazing and the cottage itself is lovely. Everything was perfect and comfortable. we really enjoyed being surrounded by sheep and on occasion wild red dear and birds of prey. the bed was very comfortable and the whole house was quiet and peacefull. would happily recommend Ardormie and would gladly stay here again.

We can't say enough about our time at Kate & Mark's farm, except that we wish we could have stayed longer. Their farm is a lovely rural property, a country lane lined with wildflowers, and complete with chickens, pigs, ducks, and duck eggs for breakfast. Kate was kind to prepare homemade scone-like cookies and homemade jam for our arrival, and a small bottle of milk for tea and coffee. Mark's woodworking pieces are everywhere, and what a talent! We loved our time, and it was a great place to stay if you want to explore the North/Northeast shore of Scotland - well worth seeing! (Covesea, Cullen, Portsoy, Crovie, Fraserburgh, Peterhead). We hope to return to Scotland again and if we do, we will stay with Mark & Kate again!

Vicki and John were amazing hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed the Byre which had amazing views and was super cosy. Vicki had made all sorts of homemade goodies for us which were devoured. Thanks to you both.

Stunning location for a peaceful getaway. Had the pleasure to spend 5 nights at the cottage for a mini-break. The house has everything you need for your stay and the beauty of the location speaks for itself. The icing on the cake is the private beach, great for the doggies and getting out on the water. Sure we'll be back!
