The lavoir du prieuré

In the heart of the Sarthois perch at Sceaux sur Huisne, a town of water in Roman times, behind the church with its distinctive bell tower, is the wash-house of the "Priory Farm". This small building and its basin powered by a spring, are part of a very preserved and green space. A hundred meters below is the remains of the Gallo-Roman baths. The room has been installed in an old washhouse dating from the 15th century, so it is a night "feet in the water" that we offer.

It will be sweet and/or savory, served under the pergola if the weather is nice, otherwise in the dining room. Breakfast hours are completely flexible, I live on site. Close to Le Mans, the place is ideal for a family with children, a couple of friends, business trips or a stopover on the way to vacation: 10 min from A11 exit, 20 min from 24-hour circuit, 45 min from Laval, 4.5 hours from Calais. Secure parking on the property. You can also enjoy the outdoors - garden terrace - weather permitting.
