The place was clean and very easy to get to. It was only a short drive from everywhere we needed to go! Very quiet and just what we needed for a mini vacation!

We absolutely love staying at The Mark in Surfside. We will be back every year, and hopefully a couple of times a year if possible!!!!

Cute little beach bungalow, perfect for the setting. Our unit was spotless and included everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach, and just down the street from a delicious local bar & grill. It was super simple to check in and out. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

our stay was great, had enough room to accommodate our family of 10 with enough room for us to not be in each other's way. We loved the view from the porch great place to sit and relax in the morning or unwind from the day at the beach. Bring bug spray, mosquitoes where bad first night but no issues after that. Kathleen was upfront about what to bring and about the mosquitoes so didnt bother us. The walk to the beach was a quick few minutes, this was our favorite part, everyone could come and go as they wanted to. no loading and unloading the car and kids, no sand all over the car. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook each night and enough linens for everyone to have a comfy place to sleep. This place was great for the price and we would definitely book again.

The house was super clean and had everything you would need as far as amenities. Loved the fact there was NOT a thousand stairs to climb especially with coolers etc. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and family and they are great people, very caring to your needs. He even gave us some fresh fish tacos that a family member had caught.. Yum We found the beach is easiest if driving to it (about 3 min) to carry canopy, cooler etc. You need to purchase a beach sticker at the local store. $15 for a day or $30 for the year. For us, it was to far to walk to. There is a golf cart rental very convenient right next door which is great and the small business in not annoying with traffic or loud noises..Its nice and quiet place, love the blackout curtains. Best of all they provide a filtered water cooler so you don't have to drag bottled water!!! Fenced in yard was also a plus with dogs..Cold ac! Small charcoal grill (they provided charcoal and liter fluid). Queen bed was comfortable.

Our large family fit comfortably. The front porch and being able to walk right onto the beach was priceless. Great location. Very clean home. Kid friendly. We would come again!

They made the check-in process seamless and check-out was easy. The home itself was immaculately clean, with fresh linens, comfortable bed, a spotless kitchen, and well-maintained amenities. It was evident that the host takes great care in ensuring a comfortable and welcoming space for guests. The fresh coffee beans were a nice touch and greatly appreciated. This is a great beach house, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The view of the Gulf is amazing. Sitting on the porch with a good book and listening to the waves was one of the best parts of the stay. We were there for about 10 days, and by day 5, we were walking barefoot straight from the house to the beach. The house has a fenced yard, which a lot of homes in the area don’t. If you’ve got small kids or pets, that makes a big difference.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lynn and Ly’s place. I was a little disappointed that the golf cart wasn’t up and running. That was the main reason we booked with them but they sent us some recommendations and we were able to get one booked for our trip. We totally understand that things happen. Overall we had a good time. The house is on a quiet street and within walking distance or a quick drive to most things.

This place was amazing! Definitely recommend to anyone that wants to have beach access at the front of the door. Very peaceful and I was able to bring my fur baby to enjoy the getaway weekend with us.

What a great view, you just step down from the house to enjoy the beach, super convenient:) Being able to hear the ocean was amazing, deck space is huge and private, we really enjoyed our stay.

The accommodations were just as described. The condo is super cute, located in very close proximity to the beach, clean and beautifully decorated, and the host was super responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back. Thank you Heba for the great stay!

Great location!! Close to places to walk too on the beach. WiFi worked perfectly and there was just enough of everything for the weekend. Can’t wait to go back!

Great spot and very close to the beach. The condo was surprisingly spacious. Lots of amenities. We experienced some minor hiccups, but no significant issues at all. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for such a wonderful weekend. My husband and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was a beautiful way to celebrate. We work many hours a week and we were thinking of coming at least once a month to release stress in this spectacular place, with the sea breeze and the sound of the waves. Everything has been too spectacular: the location, the view of the ocean, the proximity of the beach, the distribution of the spaces, everything has been excellent. Thank you!

Love staying here when we go to Surfside. We have stayed at this address 3 times now in 2 different units. No shoes necessary to get to beach! Walk down the stairs from the unit, and you are on the beach. We always stay in the lower units … not the top ones. The porches on the lower units get the shade from the units above them. The kitchen supplies aren’t great. We bring our own sharp knives, frying pan and ziplock bags or storage containers. The space is minimal and functional. Just what I want for the beach, frankly. Bed was really, really comfortable and we slept great each night. Great location. Best location on Surfside, IMO. The beach is much less crowded here compared to the locations closer to the bridge. And there are 2 restaurants walking distance as well as ice cream shop even closer. 979 properties is very responsive. Never had any problems with them.
