Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Santa Ynez

This home is very peaceful. I love that the greenery in the front yard makes it feel very private. I came solo and only used one bedroom. If you came here with a group, the only issue I’d see is the bathroom with the shower is quite small for sharing. I used the kitchen to make dinner - it has everything you need. One of my favorite things about this house is it’s two blocks from Bob‘s Well Bread, an amazing bakery/café. I walked there every morning for coffee.

We had an incredible 2 night stay! It was difficult to leave, and we were immediately regretting not booking a longer stay. The photos are extremely accurate of the space, and if anything it exceeded our expectations. We had a group of 3 in our stay and immediately upon entering said "We could live here!" The location and setting provides the perfect combination of tranquility and convenience. Will look forward to our next stay here!!

I can't say enough great things about Lavender Hill and Michelle.....we had a blast staying in one of the most beautiful homes anywhere! Large and spacious, with incredible views through every window. We were in Santa Ynez for a wedding, and there were 11 of us staying in the home. Plenty of room for everyone, and lots of spaces to just hang out and unwind from all of the festivities! If you are ever planning to stay in the Solvang area, don't shop for an Airbnb. Just rent this one. You will not be disappointed! Michelle and her team are great hosts, and made us all feel at home. And did I mention the views? I would give them 10 stars if that was a choice lol.....it was wonderful.

Lovely place. Very clean and comfortable. We highly recommended and for sure will be back. Harvey is a very nice person, he showed us the beautiful Victorian house and gave us the history of it. Thanks a million Harvey for everything! We really appreciate it!

We stayed with our adult kids and wanted a walkable location. This one was perfect! Quiet yet close. Really enjoyed meeting Jeanne and her dogs.... horses, chickens too. (FYI....They are off site and not at the property.) The home is very well provisioned and the beds luxurious and comfy. Open kitchen and lots of seating in the living areas. Thank you Jeanne, we look forward to seeing you again!

We traveled to the area for wine tasting and this was a great starting point. The deck, privacy, and view were exactly what we were looking for. As a bonus, there were new fluffy towels and amazing water pressure. Glad we chose this property.

I cannot say enough great things about both the home and the information and responsiveness that Todd & Jodi provided during our stay. We were fortunate to find their place available at the last minute and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Home was beautiful and on a great piece of land, peaceful, quiet and convenient. We felt right at home, almost better than right at home, which was the whole purpose of our visit. Beds, bathrooms, kitchen and all the accessories of the home were top notch. All the recommendations and help in finding last minute winery visits and dinner reservations were incredibly helpful as well. We will be back.

Alles verlief völlig unkompliziert. Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen, der Check-in war einfach und wir hatten alles, was wir benötigten. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Genau das Richtige nach 2 Wochen Rundreise.

Our stay in Santa Barbara was very enjoyable. The location of the Airbnb was excellent because of the proximity to State Street and all that it offers. Although the apartment was quite small, it functioned well. The coffee was absolutely delicious and boxed water much appreciated! The bed was soft and the bedding lovely. The apartment is on a relatively busy street but at night it was extremely quiet. I'm usually sensitive to noises at night but for the two nights we were there, I slept extremely well, as did my husband. The cost of the apartment was steep but it seems like every place in Santa Barbara was expensive. I definitely would recommend the apartment if you want to be near State Street.

Great spot! Really cozy and well appointed for its size. Cute back yard. Hosts are really communicative. Summerland is sleepy but that's what we like about it. Would definitely come back.

We're repeat guest to this Air BNB. I enjoy the locale and the ease of amenities within walking distance. Our stay was pleasant and relaxing.

This stay was so far the best Airbnb stay I have ever had. I have traveled throughout the US and Mexico, and definitely exceeded my expectations for the time and price. I would even stay there long term if available. Thank you Alex!

Die Wohnung war super, wir waren zubzweit auf einer Geschäftsreise. alles war wie beschrieben, die Lage gut. Ganz in der Nähe gibt es ein hervorragendes Café und Rösterei, The Dune. Wichtig zu wissen, das Haus ist schon älter, d.h. es ist nicht mit einem modernen Hotel vergleichbar. Es ist eher wie eine Ferienwohnung. die Einrichtung ist toll und mit viel Liebe ausgewählt. ich würde die Einrichtung als old school beschreiben. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!!!!

I only booked the studio apartment for a night to have somewhere to shower and sleep mid road trip. I was soooo bummed I didn’t have more days there to enjoy it!!! The unit was actually a little more spacey than I expected (they made very clear this space was for one person). I’m weird when places have questionable linens/towels or they smell funky. The towels smelled so fresh, and the whole place was very clean. The space has beautiful features, felt modern but still cozy. Loved having the full fridge, that was very convenient. There are many units in the building but it felt private and I never heard anyone else. It’s a dreamy place with a lovely patio on the most adorable street. I will absolutely be returning with more time to spend and would recommend!

We had a perfect romantic weekend in Santa Barbara, and this place made it truly special. The space was beautifully decorated with great style—spacious, full of natural light, cozy, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed, from thoughtful amenities to a warm, inviting atmosphere. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to East Beach, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. Our host, Jane, was fantastic—responsive, kind, and full of helpful suggestions for local restaurants. She made everything easy from start to finish. We’d absolutely stay here again!

What a great location!!!! Rent without any hesitations, So clean and had hotel style soaps available in bathroom, great hot tub in the back yard, peach 🍑 trees. Beds were just like home, throw blankets and Netflix on the TV. Love it and worked out perfect while attending daughter's college graduation. Highly recommend

Eileen’s place is an absolute dream. Beautiful condo that is bright, clean, and comfortable. Steps away from a gorgeous beach and picturesque town! Eileen was super communicative and provided clear instructions. I’d love to visit again!

The place was very nice and clean and the instruction to find the place was very accurate. Make sure to read the notes shared to find the property as it is a little confusing to find the property if you only rely on the google map. The instructions make it very easy to find it. The property was nice, clean, big, and had all the things we needed and we definitely want to go back. The host is very responsive even when I messaged him at 11 pm and the property is 5 minutes from the beach.

Amanda’s place made it super easy to get everything I wanted out of this amazing town! Truly just 1 minute from the beach, walkable to the cute DT, parking spots were easy to find, and very peaceful little patio. Thank you for a great stay!

10/10 amazing place! My family and I loved it as soon as we walked in. Very beautiful, clean, and a cool experience. Our plan to go to the beach went away and all we wanted to do was to stay at the house. So cozy and relaxing. Felt we were inside a magazine! A dream vacation and stay. Beds were comfortable, everything was working, plenty of towel, walkable to shops and beach, the rooftop was so fun and cool! Nothing bad to say about this place and in fact we want to come back! Thank you Courtney for being an amazing host!
