A very nice and calm place with the opportunity to cool down in a pool with a beautiful view. The staff is very friendly and they do their best to make it a perfect stay. The huts are clean and comfortable, equipped with a fan. Also the food is very good and not expensive. If you want to have an Airbnb which is on its own to go hiking or just relax and calm down, it is a perfect place for you!

Nice place to stay with restaurant that has amazing dishes. However due to the location difficult to reach and to do a lot because it is quite secluded.

Absolutely incredible house in the cloud forest of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Amazing architecture with breathtaking views of Santa Marta and the Caribbean Sea. If you are looking for a private secluded spot to check out and really enjoy natural surroundings this is definitely the place to go. Short drive to the awesome mountain town of Minca with lots of hiking..great restaurants..and laid back vibe. Esteban was onsite to greet us and overly accommodating. Incredible guy who was there to assist in any way possible. One recommendation..if you are renting a vehicle ensure you have a 4X4 for the last mile up the mountain road to his house. I was able to make it with a smaller suv but have experience in driving those types of conditions so not recommended. You can also park at the base and get a ride up if you prefer. Highly recommend booking this place and will go back!!!

Finca Carpe Diem was amazing! The room was better than expected. The views and property are beautiful. The restaurant serves up quality delicious food. A lot of which is local and some even from their farm. A very peaceful experience. Great activities nearby. There is lots to do on your own and with a guide. The staff at was very friendly and the property was kept very clean. I definitely recommend! You should at least do 3 nights so you can get various experiences in (of course longer if you can).

Everything you need for 4-5 day rest. There are daily programmes very close (walking distance, waterfalls, sunset hike, cacao farm visit, coffee tasting), the restaurant is great, breakfast is great! The views from the pool are amazing, we would totally stay here again.

A great place to stay up in the mountains near Minca. Everyone is super friendly and English is widely spoken. Make sure you take lots of cash though because they charge 6% to use card (even local) at the end.

Siete Piedras is a magical retreat in the mountains. My partner and I enjoyed every moment--from the adventurous 4x4 ride, to eating Marcela's amazing (and healthy) food prepared with so much care, and soaking in every incredible view and sound. And the dog, he's an extra sweet treat. We can't wait to return someday.

Frana Lodge is a beautiful place, a real authentic hidden gem. The hike to the lodge is a little challenging with your bags, but well worth it! Crossing through the stream is actually refreshing on a hot day and adds to the whole experience of the location. Once you arrive, you can relax in the hammocks, greet the pets, and have a cold beer or a very tasty icy fresh fruit drink. The lodge itself is perfectly clean, offers spectacular views, lots of local trails, and it’s walking distance to Tayrona National Park. Franz took a lot of extra time talking to us about things to do on our short 3 night stay, offering suggestions including a really great local cocoa tour. He also arranged onsite massages. They offer breakfast & delicious dinners for a small fee. The food is 100% fresh and homemade. Lunch is not offered, but you can eat lunch when you’re out during the day nearby. It’s the perfect place to relax & get away. Thank you, Franz & staff.

Nice place! We enjoyed the deck with hammocks, lovely garden, great views. Lots of birds. The room is really small for two people (plus baggage) and as others have mentioned you can hear other guests quite well. There are about 4 guest rooms total, I think, with shared balcony. Lizeth kindly recommended a taxi driver to us so the arrival was easy. Note the location is uphill from town so it feels a bit difficult to get in & out of town without taking a moto. Pozo Encantada nearby is very nice and there are a couple restaurants near. A bit of noise from the road. Lizeth and other hosts were friendly and we enjoyed our time. Thanks!

Lovely stay and very good communication

We loved our tree house! So so beautiful and even better than anticipated. We felt so at peace, I felt like a queen in the jungle. It was clean, spacious & fresh! Everyone who worked here was also so nice. The included breakfast is also delicious and we loved the restaurant owners they are so kind !

My favorite place in the area, I highly recommend visiting for several days, access is a nice adventure, so it's better to stay a few days up. The best view of Minca and beautiful nature around, excellent food and atmosphere.

What magical place. Amazing few, very friendly staff, beautiful cabanas. Can’t wait to go back!

My friend and I called Laurence and Bruno's place "paradise". It is incredibly beautiful and peaceful plus Laurence and Bruno go out of their way to make sure that you enjoy your stay. Laurence cooks all the food and it is very healthy and delicious.

We felt very comfortable right away. Were warmly welcomed and brought over the river by jeep. The food was excellent ! In the middle of nature is right next to the property that small family restaurant, Laurence cooks for guests and from mom there is the delicious jam for breakfast. Next door is the river where you can swim. The family has 2 horses and dogs that are usually very relaxed in the sun. It's a little oasis in the middle of the jungle. We really enjoyed it! We would have found the place a little faster if they had a sign. Everything else was perfect.

Incredible spot on a river in the jungle. Was an adventure to get to and involved crossing a very shallow river, but that meant that it was super private and totally immersed in nature. Staff (shoutout to Daniel!) were all delightful. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Casa Loma is INCREDIBLE. This particular hut was insane with incredible views and such a tranquil environment. There is a sunset bar that looks over Santa Marta, a cafe, a restaurant. Everything you could want. The food was amazing. Everything is vegetarian and even my meat loving boyfriend enjoyed all of the food. We had 2 dinners and 1 breakfast. We also got a massage which was very relaxing and a great way to end our trip filled with hiking. A few things to be aware of - the hike up to the hostel is pretty intense so that’s important to keep in mind. I’m not the most athletic person but was able to make the trek. Every time we made it to the top, it was beyond worth it. There were also a lot of cats and dogs. We were even there when there was a litter of the most adorable puppies! We loved it but it could be difficult if you have allergies. I felt like I was in a dream. If you are in Minca, you should 100% stay at Casa Loma

As described . The place is beautiful , just a small creek next door to cool off . Bar service and restaurant on site but otherwise the small bridge is convenient to get into town. The room was clean and service every day . Breakfast could be a little more varied but it's still good . Recommended
