Mapuwi "Caribbean Luxury" Villa Lolie

We stayed in the Lolie for one week and absolutely loved our time there. The villa was VERY spacious and all of the outdoor spaces were inviting. It is very well located, with lots of restaurants and shops within steps of the villa. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away. A few notes on noise as all of the Villa's social spaces are outdoors: There is a generator adjacent to the villa entrance that can be noisy when it is on (which happens as the main power goes out across Palomino). When it kicked on we would typically go to the beach, a cafe or find an activity to do. There was a night when guests in an adjacent villa were quite loud and their music and conversation carried over the villa walls. Lastly, there is a bar a few minutes from the Villa that played their music quite loud on Saturday night and we could hear it very clearly at the villa. All said, we would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone planning to visit Palomino.

This cabin was heavenly. It was perfectly located for privacy and had spectacular views while being very easy to get to and from palomino. We throughly enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the manager Daniel. He was extremely helpful for check in, helped us get to and from palomino and helped us order food whenever we asked. Anything we requested he was on hand to help us and with a smile. Thank you Daniel, you made our stay so much more enjoyable!

We were lucky enough to be one of the first guests here, it is gorgeous. They are beautifully designed and a really lovely space to relax in. The hotel next door which provides breakfast is also lovely and all the staff are so kind and helpful. The hosts respond really quickly and can’t do enough for you. Just wish we’d stayed here longer than two nights!!

Roy was very welcoming and friendly. Quieter than other accommodations, not being on the main street. However, I always got lost to find the right path. You can hear when the next cabin gets up and the guests talk to each other next door, which can be a little disturbing early in the morning. Persistent smell of humidity in the cabin and the bathroom, even though it is not hermetically sealed (spaces where air passes).
